Not taking anything from Tullahoma but they were definitely beatable. 

Witten was too conservative and losing had nothing to do with the tailback. He used the tailback more as a fullback and keep running the same stuff over over. If you watched the game the kid that played tailback keep us in the game catching balls at receiver when we would go empty. Witten lost that game not the players.

One of most undisciplined teams I have seen. They were pushing or hitting kids in the back after every play and stepping on our ball carriers and trying to poke there eyes in the pile. They had 1 coach 2 players and 2 other people on their sidelines ejected. Bad look for their school

Carter coaches and fans some of the worse that I have seen. Coach was ejected alone with 2 players.

Before you start saying something make sure you have the facts first. Corey was never recruited or promised any scholarship. When Corey went to TA Dugger they hadn’t won a game in 2 years so you can’t say he went for football. You act like Centre is a joke or something Corey went there so he could play football and baseball plus get an education from one of the top 50 schools in the country. Don’t know why You keep running your mouth about Corey but if you don’t know what you are talking about it will be best you leave him out of your conversations.

I agree with you though!

I wish they would get him more touches maybe some jet sweeps or something like that. You can’t have your best player only getting 5 touches a game.

Don’t know why people are saying they recruit. No one ever recruited my boys or paid tuition for us or anything like that I’ve got receipts to prove that. Every time any team in Carter Co does good the other teams always down them and start with the rumors. Trust me if Cloudland was playing for the championship I would be there supporting them.

Rollins Hughes and Maupin all live in Elizabethton yes they did come from other schools but that happens in the county schools to.  Cloudland use to get players come from Avery Co, Hampton use to get players from Cloudland, and Happy Valley use to get players from Elizabethton it happens all the time.

Corey went to Elizabethton not just for athletics but for academics to. Corey had other offers from bigger schools but chose Centre College so he could play both football and baseball plus it is a top 50 academic school in the country. As far as recruiting at Elizabethton that is BS neither Corey or Cade was and trust me they had to pay tuition. As far as Corey having better stats and winning all the stuff mentioned at Cloudland we will never know but I do know this he loves Centre College and that is all that matters. 

We lose a lot but our 8th and 9th grade classes are good so we will be ok

The difference was the line play we were just to inexperienced and small to deal with ACs line. We start a freshman, sophomore, and 3 seniors which is there first year of playing any varsity time. They have come a long way this year and should be proud we were just out played last night plain and simple. Proud of all the Cyclones it just wasn’t our night.

All the different positions he plays and the numbers he has put up with a lot less weapons around him than Ballard and Martin he should have made the list. Not saying he should win it but as for a all around football player it would be hard to find any better.

If Corey had the opportunity and the weapons that Ballard has I guarantee his stats would be just as good or even better. I think Goddard is my far the best player Greeneville has wonder why he didn’t make the list.

You know I agree some have gotten away with a lot but it kinda goes both ways you get out of it what you put into it. I'm also glad that there are volunteers to help the kids lift but there needs to be a coach or assistant coach there to make sure everyone is doing the program that the head coach wants to use,but I have a simple question did the coach ask for help or did these volunteers just show up.

the kids ask for help because they couldn't get any help from the coach. Most of the time there was a coach up there but never a football coach from the high school so I think if anybody was going to say anything it should be thank you.

From what I heard today noone is gonna be in the weight room unless they are supervised by a coach . Several things at Cloudland are gonna change in a BIG way.

well I guess there won't be anybody up there then unless the basketball coach is there

Found out that one of the big problems with the football team is they can't keep some of the community out of the weight room Pittman has ask for years for the administration to change the locks to the gates and especially the weight room he has changed the locks his self who ever it is has pried the doors open. They have went so far as to call dr ward to complain about not being able to get in to the weigh room,this is NOT a community gym why are these people allowed to be in the weight room,I guarantee the schools such as Elizabethton does not allow anyone other than students to use their weight room.

The big problem with the football team has nothing to with community people using the weightroom. If it wasn't for people in the community coming and working with the football players that wanted to get better most of them would never lift, because Pittman sure ain't going to do anything extra. Pittman blames the community people for trashing the place when it was the community people picking up weights leftover from kids under his watch. So I don't think people using the weightroom is the problem with the team I think they have bigger problems.

70-51 HHS up on Cloudland .....2:14 left....Got a lil chippy...It seems to have gotten to the point that u can't holler anything at a ref without being escorted out! Seems to be out of control to me....time for the refs to tuffn that skin a lil IMO

amen to that refs are soft they make way to much money for what they do plus hollering at the refs is part of the game. They need someone to answer to if the fans holler they get kicked out so if the refs are making bad calls they should be asked to leave, just seems fair to me.

I think it's kinda funny how all we hear about in carter county is how good eliz is and here us two are sitting and talkin bout our first round byes and eliz is preparing to play. I know they are pretty darn good and Thomas is a beast but they need to give us little fellers a little credit too.

Same dance different song. If you take the turnovers away it would have been alot better game not saying we would have won but it would have helped. It was a good game could have done without the taunting before the game started and the players hollering at the fans at the end of the game, other than that good game.
