Ed..... congratulations to your team on making the playoffs and a hard fought game. Things are really going in the right direction at JCM and it is great to see. Look forward to good things to come from you guys!!!

First off let me say congrats to Westview and good luck the rest of the way. Unfortunately though me and a friend were standing at the back of the end zone on the last play of the game. The young man from JCM caught the ball inbounds and clearly a touchdown. One official had started to raise his hands the others looked confused then waved it off. Great reffing until the last play, so sad for these young men. JCM easily should be playing next Friday Night. Signing off......just saying.

i dont wrap ankles i have kid on team and its not hard to call the coach out that also helps the special needs kids at the school AKA specialed and the only reason you got the job was because your son transferred from Haywood to JCM all you are doing is riding his coat tail

ok you must be happy with a 4-6 record with our wins coming vs teams that combined have won 7 games and lost 33 we have not beat 1 team that will make playoffs. Our kids are better than that We just need the right group of men leading them

It was 3 suspended players and over the course of the season we had 4 go out with season ending injuries. All of these players were starters. No excuses..... stuff happens.
Blah! Blah! cry me a river BigPurple. If you weren't so focused on trying to talk "wet" about programs like JCM earlier in the year, you may have realized you had flaws in your program. Hmmm, JCM in 3A playoffs, Milan..........not!!!! Everyone suffered major injuries, none were any bigger than JCM losing there starting QB, 3 starting DL and 2 that got ample playing time. The team with no discipline, coaching and yatta, yatta was the one to pull it together and push through adversity. Once the playoffs start I will buy you a ticket....lol

Yeah, with all the "wait and see" posts, we only are headed to the playoffs after nearly everyone was saying we wouldn't make, even with all the injuries and coaching changes JCM is in the playoffs. You ever heard, shoot for the moon and if you miss, you'll hit a star. Think on it. So as you see my predictions are right on schedule, sucka!!

When ANY TEAM has good football players, they are labeled as such...when a kid has the physical attributes required to be an exceptional player, yet isn't...he's labeled an athlete. Sometimes good coaching can't make a football player from an athlete...and some really good football teams aren't that athletic, they just cover their assignments. You have made "wait and see" posts all season...D'burg wins, Lewis Co. wins, season's over. Anyone can see that JCM as a team has more than their share of gifted athletes...you decide why they haven't lived up to their potential.

JCM would have to beat Covington to give Dyersburg a shot at the one seed. That would give them the "4" in the second tie breaker they would need to catch Trezevant. I don't see it happening. The only other possibility would be if one of Trezevant's opponents with a 50% win rate drops below that tomorrow night. Now that I think about it, that's impossible. if you're at 50% win rate through nine games, you have to be at least 5-4 so you can't lose a mark in the second tie breaker in the last week of the season.
Basically, give up hope of a one seed or become a huge JCM fan tomorrow.
JCM is feeling good about the matchup with Covington. Covington barely squeaked out an overtime win against a 1 win Bolton team and scored late the week before to beat a Ripley team that JCM dominated. On top of all that Covington has injuries to key players + its Senior night at the Rock. So don't be surprised if JCM pulls out a "W".

I don't know about dominated the scrimmaged...they did win the scrimmage though. What a lot of people are overlooking is the fact that JCM is a 3A team in a 4A district and a 4A schedule. I just saying, playing in the 3A playoffs may get interesting for opposing teams.
Why is it that when inner city programs have good players, they are just labeled as "good athletes", heck they're good football players. Coaches of inner city teams are always made out to sound incompetent and the team not disciplined. DHStennis I've even seen this about your Crusaders, why, I ask.

and finally...westview scrimmaged jcm right b4 the season...and thats part of the reason jcm has had the season that they have had...westview is the team that ended their QB and best players season...with him...jcm wins another 2 games...maybe 3...without him...u get what u got right now
westview dominated that scrimmage from what i understand and they have clearly improved...jcm has a lot more ground to make up

If you have a problem with Coach Taylor why don't you be a man and talk to him. I do not coach for JCM so you are wrong there. Only one person that visit this site know my identity. So rather than bash the coaches why not support them. That is just lame.

What make them the worst coaching satff? Do you even know the coaching staff? That's what I thought....you're an ignorant poster on Coach T. First of all they have a very solid coaching staff. To be able to bring the kids together and play football after all of the adversity surrounding the program speaks volumes. Guys like you should go to the "Wizard" and buy a brain.

If we play Westview we can give them a challenge for sure. The defense needs to find away to stop Hunter Beal, and with Lowery at QB now we can play in the air for sure. Thenprojkem last time was we scored on the opening drive, and then proceeded to underestimate the chargers. I also hope it's Westview since that's the closest so there will be more support

Wow.....Hickman came and played dead...lot of people at JCM are saying what if after taking Westview to the wire last week 19-13 on the last play of the game.
