I don't think this thread will be very lively

If we don't turn the ball over and play like we have on defense we can play with Huntington. There is no doubt so far this season that the Mustangs look to be the best in the district but Mckenzie and Dresden will not be beaten quietly. That being said I am ready to see a some Lions against the Bulldogs. This is a team we shouldn't overlook they played Mckenzie tough and have been all over the place this season playing well at times and other times not so well. We need to treat them like they are one of the top teams in the district

Was a great game last night by Dresden. NO TURNOVERS BY DRESDEN! WHOA! Unfortunately for Riverside our district isn't as "weak" as they like to think, as well as, Riverside isn't as "physical" as they they think they are. One think you can say about the Lions this year is that they like to hit and Riverside didn't seem to handle it well. I do think Riverside is better than their record and I love Dresden getting overlooked constantly. We are a tough team in a tough district and we can play with most teams. I just hope we get overlooked by Huntington in two weeks because they look like the real deal after last night.

I would love to see the community get behind DHS as the community does in Mckenzie that is a top notch program and I do feel that Dresden is trying put themselves in the same position. More people are showing their support and that means a lot to the players who put in the hard work. There is a great group of coaches there that really care about the players and pushes them to be better which really shows on the field. Everyone in the district looks tough this season and the coaches seem to have the team ready to play tough but the Rebels are still at the top until someone knocks them off. Should be a great game Friday I can't wait!

I would like to know where to find the second half that is just full of cheap shots. It would also be nice if the westview fan that corrects everyone's grammar but yet can't spell or put together a sentence of their own would delete his/her account. And yes for a solid month leading up to the game i read several posts where charger fans called Dresden a joke and believed the win was a lock but that game is over and westview can stop worrying about Dresden till next season and go post somewhere else if you just want to post about how much better you think you are. I didn't get to make it to the game last Friday but as a former player and a fan who played under coach hewit since peewee I can assure you he is a great coach who knows the game and in the many years I played under his coaching he never encouraged any dirty play nor did he tolerate it. I love to win and i love physical football but i do not like to see dirty play. As for the game Friday Mckenzie has a great program built on hard work and great coaching. I hope and believe Dresden can get the win but it won't come easy.

LOL I think those parents need their money back seeing as Westview only had two penalties against them all night compared to the 10 Dresden had.

That is one thing that may have made all the difference is we didn't shoot ourselves in the foot with turnovers and even thought the plays ran didn't produce much yardage Dresden played very smart and protected the lead. I really can't get over how dominating the defense played from start to finish no mistakes and great fundamental tackles can win a lot of games.

This play came down to two big plays and Dresden made both of them. Dresden's Offense is awful but for as bad as it is Dresden's Defense is that good and really the only thing going for them. As for Westview their offense was flat out beat by Dresden's D even despite the size advantage Westview seemed to have on the line. #8 for Westview did run the ball well but Dresden was solid tackling the ball carriers. If the Chargers could have gotten a passing game going the outcome of this game may have been different.

I saw Dresden's defense against S.Fulton and thought they looked great but Westview made us look like the 85 Bears. So proud of Dresden for the win but I am concerned about the offense not sure we even had 100 total yards.
