  1. It wasn't the scoreboard, the lights over the dugout blew out, and MLEC doesn't have a bucket truck high enough to be able to fix it. So a company out of Nashville is having to come out to do the repair in the morning.

ohhh ok...my bad thats just what i heard...i wish we would get a new scoreboard tho

  2. Perry Co.'s a tough at home team with a record of (7-2) at home...with a loss to WC and S'town...they are on a 7 game winning streak...they have the momentum and they have a since of urgency to be the first baseball team in Perry Co. history to make it to the state tournament...they have the pitching and the defense to do it...their hitting has been great the past few weeks (Avg. of 7 runs per game in the District Tourney)...and giving up a avg. of 4 runs....not to bad and with Tucker pitching for PC and Ring pitching for MtP, looks like it'll be a one to two run ballgame...the game will be aired with audio only (because of TSSAA rules) on ihigh.com/TN...my pick is PC-3 MtP-1

  3. I'm hoping Perry County will make some noise.

If we can win we'll be in good shape with Home Field advantage and with either Columbia Academy, Cornersville, or whoever is second in 11A coming to Linden for the Region Semi's, if we don't then we'll most likely have to go to Mt. Pleasant and if we win that we'll play the winner of our district and then if we win we'll play the loser of Region 5A which will be Cascade or someone like that because we all know Eagleville's going to win District and Region over there...just like my Senior year when we were underdogs we won at MTP (1-0) on Richardsons line drive double for our only run, and he goes out there and pitched a 5 hit shutout...then we played Summertown (got beat 13-8) but we should've won that game cuz we were down 13-1 but came back in the 5th and 7th innings and scored 5 and 2 in the last 2 innings...but then we went to Eagleville and we almost had a Kirk Gibson scenario when Dunkle took me off the bench with 2 outs in the top of the 7th and i hit a piss rod to the center fielder who bobbled it and Dunkle who did the right thing, tried to score Reese Spencer from 1st but he got thrown out by a half a step at home...kinda sucked to end my Career like that but Perry County's only been to the Sub-State 2 times in its programs history...and to get there again (2 out of the last 3 yrs) for a chance at State for the first time would be awesome...they can do it...just be consistent and with all the Seniors on the team, they should play like its their last game of the season.

  4. Point taken, y'all actually had a guy that could throw a decent curveball and ok fastball. They had spent the last two days hitting sub-par pitching and it took them a while to pick their timing back up and to be fair your guys made a few big time catches that most of the time would have been down for hits. Eagleville also pitched their #5 against you as well. Eagleville is not a team that's going to hit 2 or 3 homeruns a game. The majority of the starters are contact hitters. Adamsville I thought was better than Huntingdon as far as competitiveness although they had beat y'all once. They hit the ball pretty well against our #6 and #7 for a couple of innings.

what was the score to the Eagleville/ Summertown double header?

  5. Riverside is 9-1, only loss was to Houston Co., Cascade is 7-2, Eagleville is 8-2 split games with Spring Hill and Cascade both quality opponents with superb pitchers.

Just wanted to say that it wasn't Houston Co. that beat Riverside...its just Houston out of Memphis...a AAA team...they also will play Collierville and Bartlett all AAA teams later on in the season.

  6. Perry Co, (5-4 overall, 3-1 12A) wins @Summertown (10-6) and Collinwood (4-2), (11-2) and losses to Summertown (6-1)

Summertown (4-2 overall, 3-1 12A) wins over Loretto (15-4), (17-8) and @Perry Co. (6-1) and losses to Perry Co. (10-6)

Collinwood (8-3 overall, 2-2 12A) wins over Wayne Co. (6-4), (17-3) and losses to Perry Co. (4-2), (11-2)

    Wayne Co. (6-3 overall, 2-2 12A) wins over Clifton (16-1), (16-2) and losses to Collinwood (6-4), (17-3)

Loretto (3-6 overall, 2-2 12A) wins over Clifton and losses to Summertown (15-4), (17-8)

Clifton (not sure on overall, 0-4 12A) Losses to Wayne Co. (16-2), (16-1) and Loretto

  7. If u read my earlier post, I give u guys all the credit. I say hats off to the Vikings...I just don't believe u guys saw the real cwood team last night. If I'm wrong, I will b the first to admit it. PC has a senior at every position except 1 (what I was told) they are suppose to be better...cwood has luker and bl Daniel ....for some reason I think we will put up a big number....almost time I can't wait

hey keep me informed on how the game goes on here if you don't mind and when do they start? i'm at school so i won't be able to make it

  8. Early prediction....cwood in 5 innings tonight...

man y'all don't give us any credit what so ever!!! PC is a very good ball team and C'wood didn't show me anything last night...obviously the teams y'all played besides Spring Hill must've been absolutely horrible and i thought Luker was your ace? or is it Brewer? either way i think PC can win this game but yes Collinwood is a good ball team i just don't think they'll beat us in 5 innings...sorry

  9. Agreed ....if collinwood plays like they did vs Spring Hill then PC has a good chance. If both teams play well I think the Trojans pull out a 10-4 win. Good Luck to both teams.

if our fielders play like they have then yes Collinwood will score 10 runs easily...but PC's bats are coming alive and they should be pitching Westbrooks or Qualls tonite so since its at PC i'll say 7-6 PC but PC has to play EXCEPTIONALLY well tonite for this to happen...no 5 or 6 E's

  10. Perry County not looking so hot right now. Two big losses. 15-2 with Lexington and 14-0 by McNairy Co. Whats going on? The Vikes better get it together quick.

those are probly the best 2 teams in District 14AA and probably any AA team in the state...McNairy Central threw their ace and Lexington hit our #4 pretty good...its hard to get ahead in counts when the umpire wouldn't be consistent with our guys and wouldn't call the corners to save his life...plus their #4 would probably be a ace for any single A team in the state...2 very good ball teams and Collinwood wouldn't be able to beat em in my opinion since they got beat 11-1 by Spring Hill i promise that both those team would beat Spring Hill by 10+ runs...monday and tuesday will be a BIG series and measuring stick for the rest of the year...Perry Co. needs to start playing error free ball or it'll be a long year but they played very well against a TOUGH Liberty team

  11. Perry County is 2-2 as of now. They hit very good against Summertown but couldn't sweep. They're still trying to figure things out however. Tucker has took over shortstop and Grimes is playing second. Tucker is rusty but he will be a wrecking force on the mound. Richardson is currently out with a knee injury. District play might not look pretty but watch out for Perry Co. in the post-season!

who was the other team that they got beat by? i have them at 2-1 with a win and loss against summertown and a win against Scotts Hill and they have a pretty good matchup with McNairy Central today at Lexingtons big red classic
