Does anybody know how Perry Co. did against Lewis Co. on the 12th and 13th and how they did against Camden on the 16th??

It'll be interesting...i'm not sure how good C'wood is but i watched PC against Scotts Hill tonight in Lexington at the Big Red Classic and they won 9-6 we had our #4 pitcher in and he gave up 4 runs (2 ER)a few hits and about 2 E's...then Tucker came in and had 1 ER and the other was Unearned (via error) but all in all they fought back from a 4-0 deficit and i think if they hit they'll be just fine...but from what i hear from C'wood they have some pop as well beat WC 17-4??? thats amazing in my book

Did Perry Co. sweep Summertown? and Collinwood sweep Wayne Co.???

yeah you would think that some of the posters on here would have more class but everyone thinks that i don't care for my team if i don't think we're good enough to win...i just like to be realistic...unlike hoopster who said we will DOMINANT yall tomorrow night...i don't expect a dominant performance from either team because our boys haven't been to a state final since middle school and as far as i know FCS has never been to a basketball final so i know there will be some jitters on both sides but i still think Perry Co. will win but if FCS wins then my hats off to them because they would've played a better game then we did.

you don't have to be SO athletic to win ANYTHING!!!...you just have to be smart and know what to do in crunch time situations...i got Perry Co. bringing home the Gold for a State Record: 7th time....64-50...Not saying Friendship doesn't have a good team or that they have no chance at all of winning...i just feel like we have played better competition then you and know how to play against better athletes and play better in pressure situations...but whoever wins all the power to ya and God Bless.

both these teams don't get any respect from the media at all...Rafael Tyler is one if not the best player in the state and they talk about Wartburgs player?? and they don't talk about anyone on Perry Co.'s side because we're a unselfish team and don't have just one or 2 good players all 7-8 that play are really well rounded and play hard nosed...i think this will be a great game

Perry Co. could've been thinking about tomorrow's game against Lake Co. and then get upset by Wartburg...but NO they didn't...they came in with a mind set that we're going to play as good as we can for 32 minutes and at the end if we're up enough then the subs can get some reps...and thats exactly what they did...Lake Co. will come out firing and i know they are all high and mighty right now but i don't see some of those shots falling tomorrow nite...don't forget these 2 teams split last year (@ Tiptonville, LC-72, PC-61 but Tucker wasn't playing because of football, and @ Linden, PC-83 LC-69) it will be a good game and may the best team win...i have confidence that the Vikings can win it...if they play like i think they will then heres the score.....74-69 PC

LC better watch out with PC...they split last year and both teams only lost 1 player each...gonna be a heck of a game for a chance to see who will go to the championship...by the way PC won 71-43

i'm not saying our District is SEC like...its just a lot tougher then y'alls...our top 4 could beat any of your teams in the district

we beat Clay Co. 67-45 last year and so did Lake Co. (84-63 against Middleton in the Finals) in the tourney so i mean 20+ victories isn't rare.

what i mean by a weak district/region is that "traditionally" every team in East Tennessee is weaker then the ones in Middle or West Tennessee...now does that mean Perry Co.'s going to look past you? No. because these guys have a chip on their shoulder and they want to do everything they can to beat Wartburg and play either BTW or Lake Co. to have a chance at playing for the programs 8th State Championship game..if Wartburg wins then they deserve it but from my analysis its highly unlikely...

Washington- 244miles- 4hr:09min Lake Co.- 234miles- 3hr:50min Wartburg- 140miles- 2hr:37min Grace Baptist- 115miles- 2hr:03min Perry Co.- 102miles- 1hr:45min McEwen- 90miles- 1hr:30min Friendship- 32miles- 45min thats a grand total of 1262 miles and 22hrs of driving....Class A teams have to travel farther then any other class to Murfreesboro (Class AAA- 1232miles) (Class AA- 965miles)

i don't see this game getting out of the 50's because PC's Opp.'s average 49ppg. (oh yeah and thats actually against good teams) and we average 62 ppg...Wartburg avg. 66 ppg (against terrible competition) and opponents avg. 55 ppg (and the teams who y'all play are TERRIBLE!! no offense) just stating the facts.

Doesn't matter...when you have to play the #2 team in the State you gotta have more then 1 player to beat these guys...its a all around team sport...PC has 7 men that play legitimate minutes and that can play with anyone in the state

I have no idea how good Wartburg is and neither does any other PC poster on here...but the main reason why we're on here saying how good we are is because we are that good...you guys play in a VERY weak District and Region...and "traditionally" East Tennessee never has a really good team...kinda like Clay Co. was last year...everyone said they were so good but we won 67-45...this Perry Co. team/program has alot of tradition on their backs that they carry with them when they put that PERRY COUNTY uniform on that they wear so proudly (6 State Championships, 20+ State Appearences) that means the world to these men and that wants to rewrite Perry Co. Basketball History and a County (8000 strong) and thats the most loyalist fans in the state in my opinion behind them...this County lives and breaths Perry County High School Basketall and we always will and just because y'all have a Mr. Basketball Finalist doesn't mean a "Dang" thing...this same squad (with the abscence of Dray Mercer) beat the Reigning State Champions and "2".........count em "2".........Mr. Basketball Finalists and both were 6'6 and 6'7...and this year we beat the #5 team in the state (Mt. Pleasant) 52-44 and i gurentee their average height was atleast 6'2...and we have a VERY TOUGH District and Region...COME THURSDAY YALL WARTBURG BULLDOGS (and fans) WILL FEEL THE WRATH OF THE LINDEN/PERRY CO.
