  1. Well, the regular season has come to a close, with Macon Co. winning the regular season championship. Congratulations to them. Now, the fun really begins! What do you think???

I pick the Devils to win. We gave both Sycamore and Macon Co, all they wanted last week in games that we should have won! I believe that we will make the adjustments to carry us through to the championship. Go Blue Devils! BDP!!!

Yall wont have the chance to play sycamore or macon co because the blue devils season ends thursday nite, when they get ripped apart by those bobcats. leggo.

  2. Whos to say higher classification means better games? AAA games can be one sided in the State Tournament just like A. And its not fair to Single A to have to play day games every year it should get switched up.

This new format is stupid. Pisses me off. Single A is like watching girls games. The only player i want to see in A is Newby. I would rather see a blowout in AAA then a close game in A. They are a lot of fans going to be upset about this. Just watch, championship day they will watch the AA game and AAA game and then leave. All you will have is fans of the teams playing in A because nobody really cares to watch it. Let me think, um, Ridgeway vs. Southwind. Cam Golden Adam Weary J3 JJ Charles Smith or BTW vs Mcewen. Newby and uh yea Newby. Give me a break, GO BACK TO THE OLD FORMAT.

  3. The Blue Devils really looked good in their win Tuesday night at Gallatin. Got a little scary towards the end but the Devils pulled in out. Free throws won it definitely. Looks like the Devils are going to have a significant inside presence this year. Scoring was nicely spread out across 6-7 players. Next up is East Lit. Tue. night. 9AA and 10AA match up. Let's go Devils! BDP!

Wat happened last nite Pitchfork1. Lol

  4. Seriously, I gotta feelin' you may be a self-critical GB fan/ex-player/current player/student that likes to stir the pot. If so, you better be ready to 'play'...

In any event, you've also gotta give GB credit...whether they're playing above their true character/talent level or not. They're a scrappy bunch that's gonna play hard every game and give it all they got. And you know the old sayin': 'Hustle beats talent any day talent don't hustle.' No truer sayin'! :thumb:

Next up: Cheatham Co., Tuesday night @ GB. I hear they're tall, talented, mature and can shoot it. Maybe Coach Mason oughta call Doc Shelton for some advice on a game plan...

    good one

  5. How will Greenbrier fair outside of the district? I know this is about the district but that's only 12 games.

Greenbrier will do pretty well outside of district; getting some wins. There is one huge problem, their schedule is rather weak (mostly playing A teams). So they most likely will be in the same boat they were in last year, not ready for district play and struggle within it.

  6. East Literature is the State Runner Up from last year so until proven otherwise I would say they are the favorite. CPA and Maplewood will be in the thick of it as well.

Ill agree that East Lit was the state Runner up last year (that was last year tho) but they lost all interior play and CPA has done nothing but matured and recruited  so they are hands down the favorite.

  7. you are right for the most part macon will win but the rest is a toss up i dont see goodpasture getting 2nd place they are better at 3rd because white house with there size could over whelm the cougars and i see greenbrier sneaking into regions i know they have no exceptional players but a decent senior class lead by guard tyler thacker with his athleticism and basketball iq that could give greenbrier the edge to make them district contenders not pretenders

If Thacker will play 100. Him Darryl Crouch and Jalen Hunter are the most athletic in the district.

  8. What about McEwen? From what I hear they are going to be even better than last year. Bedwell has never taken over against them in the past games I've seen. (District Tournament the past two years) Just wanting some thoughts on how Heritage is going to "roll" over McEwen.

I've have had the privledge of playing alongside mr bedwell for the past two years and from last winter til now he has made a name for himself and will surprise a lot of people.

  9. Really, this is the same Rhoten that couldn't bring the ball up vs. Sycamore his sophomore year? The same Rhoten who played JV ball last year? Just how good did he get playing JV ball all year? I know AAU ball is ok but it doesn't make you that much better. Sorry, Rhoten is not a game changer- not quick off the dribble, average handles, doesn't guard it well, and strictly a spot up shooter. I like the youth of Goodpasture more than Rhoten.

    [/qu

Your right Rhoten is slow and just a normal average player but fortunately for him the whole district is below average which raises his level of play and makes him look above average.

  10. I will say the Louisville Central is a good team but I think WH would win if we played CPA.

That is hilarious CPA would beat the brakes off white house. With that being said white house has not faced a player as good as Reynolds for GP. Yes, i no they have faced Hurd (who by the way ran for almost 250 and 4 tds) but in mi opinion Keenan is better than him. I dont see white house being able to score with Goodpasture and finally the defense is playing with intensity.

  11. Good Luck to Devin 12 McClain at the Creek. But I really dont see this being that big of a blow for GP. I thought it would be Gp 1st and Macon 2nd and him transferring doesnt change mi mind. Replacing him will either be the sophomore Jalen Hunter who started at point for most of the season, or the transfer Rhoten from Greenbrier, who started at point his sophomore year. Made it to the second round of regions so i dont see affecting the cougars.

  12. Don't give up on CA they have new talent with two new sharp shooters and a transfer senior point guard. They will be back and have a great chance a repeating the district championship

LMAO, CA lost to Greenbrier in camps by double figures ( if i remember correctly ). Heritage is goin to roll. Nobody in that region will be able to contain Jordan Bedwell.

Pitchfork1, The blue devils are not any good. According to wat i heard yalls PG is 6-6. :o #RIPCITY.
