  1. I guess I could be wrong. I was almost 10 feet away from him while they were manipulating his shoulder, after all. Did see the punter/kicker on crutches after the game, though. Not sure when he got hurt.

I will admit that I didn't catch this with my own eyes, but it was reported that the Steeles kid was on crutches after being hit in the legs late after a kick. No penalty flag was given. If someone saw it in the replay on TV, I would be interested in knowing.

I did see the Cherokee qtr back kick and swing punches. He couldn't calm down and he deserved to get booted-not that I am happy over it. He probably is a good kid that lost his cool. I also hate that he has to sit out during the the next game or two.

I do wish the Cherokees luck. Bradley would love a rematch!

  2. Bradley does NOT see McMinn as their archrival by any means! We realize that McMinn still does for some reason, but McMinn is like number 4 or 5 on the list as far as Bradley is concerned.

It is true that this should be a great game watching these two fight it out for the championship. I think it will be tough for McMinn at Bear Stadium, but we do have two good teams matching up. Friday night will be some great football that you won't want to miss.

  3. Bradley better go into this game with great caution. They CAN NOT go into this game with a big head beacause trust me they will not like the results!!! Fair warning!!!

I don't think it is a concern. These guys are going in to play the game that they love. Some of the fans, they may have a big head. But I can tell you that most of the Bradley fans are very humble. We know how these boys rose from a tradition of many losing seasons in a row. These bears deserve all the credit they get, and more! With that said, see you Friday!

  4. Congrats to Baylor! They played a great game. To be honest, I am not sure how many public schools would ever be willing to play Baylor. I guarantee you that Baylor was worried in the first quarter when Bradley had the lead. In the end, the final score is what matters though.

No doubt, Baylor will probably go all the way this year. With Bradley playing some of the toughest schools in the state, they are seeing where their weaknesses lie. If the coaches and players learn from these mistakes, that leaves a lot of concern for other teams in post-season play. Blackman is the other opponent that will tell a lot about Bradley.
