  1. While you are awaiting your education from FactsOnly (who is indeed a mental Giant)...I will educate the rest of the Patriot faithful on the "need to know items" of the week!

    1. State Championship Tickets will go on sale TUESDAY at the following locations;

    * Henry County High School

    * Harrelson School

    * Lakewood School

    * Henry School

    * Commercial Bank and Trust (Court Square Location)

    2.Tickets are $12 and are good for the entire day (the stadium will clear after every game but your ticket will allow you reentrance).

    It is IMPERATIVE that you purchase tickets locally prior to making the trek to Cookeville! The participating school selling the most tickets receives a larger majority of the proceeds.

    3. We have one fan bus that is nearly full. We will have as many as needed for fans to ride up unto Wednesday afternoon. If you are going to go to Cookeville via a charter bus, PLEASE get signed up quickly. The school system will announce tomorrow its plans for Friday's schedule. Please know that the chartered fan buses will depart Patriot Stadium's parking lot (on Harding Road) precisely at 12 Noon on Friday! The cost to ride is $35 and covers only the transportation. There will be a food stop in the Mt. Juliet area at around 3pm.

    Again, more information will be forthcoming following tomorrow's State Championship Press Conference in Murfreesboro. Until then..GO BIG RED!!

    Will tickets be sold at Grove? How do you get signed up for a charter bus?

  2. from what i saw friday, I would assume at least one or more of the d-linemen is being recruited. they also have a DB #2, kid is relentless. not sure who else. they definitely have some good players, but not sure if they have quite 8 or 9 division 1 players.

    La'quan Mcferren is also being recruited. He plays safety along side Storme. Dennis Tharpe Jr. is only a sophmore and is our starting middle linebacker. He will be coveted by every team in the country by the time he's a senior.

    After reviewing those Highlights of Henry Co. (Namely #7 Ray and #50 Jelks) I may seriously reconsider my Stance on my pick for Ridgeway... #7 Ray is Fast as a mug :motorbike: . Jelks, I don't know if the folks he was blocking were that bad/weak or if he's that good but he looks GOOD on Film! Shaq Allen could break Ridgeway's spirit in the Second half if Henry Co. could get up 2 or 3 Scores. I understand yall's confidence now. That Safety #11 looks good as well. I'll sleep on it and make my pick in this thread as well as Big Games in Memphis thread tomorrow.

    #50 is SCARY LOOKING GEEZ! :twisted:

    Also, in Andrew's highlights video it lists his weight and height. But, right now he is 6'7 280.

  4. Ridgeway WILL be the BEST team HC has faced this year. (it's not even close). If Ridgeway plays HC's schedule, they would be 12-0. If HC plays Rideways schedule, they would be 10-2 (maybe 11-1). I expect to see a very good game Friday.

    Go Big Red

    That's a very good point. I don't think we could beat Skyline, but we'd take care of the other two... "Da Haven" and White Station.

  5. You can't hold great players down for the whole game. Ridgeway's athletes are going to make some big plays on offense, we just have to hope our offense is efficient enough to be able to outscore them. I think this will be the most points Henry County will give up to this point, but the defense will come up big in the end and make some stops to pull out the win.

  6. We really need to stop looking ahead to Cookeville. Yes we all want it, but its no good to focus on that when the task at hand is Northeast. Also we need to stop saying the only challenge will be Gallatin in the semi's we aren't guaranteed there neither are they, Hendersonville can come out next Friday and just play lights out football. How I do agree this weeks game against Northeast might not be so much of a competition but they will still come out looking for some sort of redemption. You have to win your games first before you can get to Cookville and as I'm aware we are in the 2nd round, far away from December 2nd.

    I agree. Hendersonville could very well beat Gallatin, and honestly I'd rather beat Hendersonville.

  7.

    It's ridiculous that people out there still don't think Henry County is something special. Our starters our playing the 1st half only and putting up scores like 42-0 at halftime. If our starters stayed in til the final whistle, we might be putting up triple digits in a game or two!
