Unless someone posts something that warrants a response from me. This will be my last post before I leave for the game.

I look for the Tigers to come out determined and ready to take care of business.

I'm sure Eagleville will to, but I believe they are slightly overmatched.

I figure 27-7 Gordonsville, but I'll take anything as long as it's a W.

I plan on eating at the mexican restaurant, so tell them I'm coming and that they need to treat me right.

It probably won't. Did they have Sports Nuts last night, or did they not do it at all this week?

Yes, they had sports nuts last night because apparently there was a basketball game tonight. They also replay the sports nuts segment on Fridays nights at 6:00 before the games but if 104.1 will not pick up that far away it does you no good.

93.9 out of Tullahoma will be carrying.

But, do you not think that you'll be able to pick up 104.1.

If you can't the Freeagent will do a fine job I'm sure.

I'm not sure if 104.1 will pick up that far away. Just about a month ago I was down in that direction and it was between Franklin and downtown Nashville before I could pick up 104.1 good enough to listen to sports nuts.

Hey Croz, which way are you going to get to the game tomorrow? I keep thinking 840 all the way but someone has told me something about going 840 and getting off and going I24 and getting off an exit on I24 and it takes you right by the school. I have no clue what exit they are talking about getting off if I do take I24. Just wondering if you knew the best and quickest way to get there.

Hey redkuda or any other Eagleville fan, could you tell me if Eagleville has a radio station that broadcasts their games? If so, what is the station so I can listen to the game while at the game? If they don't, is there a radio station in the Boro area that will be broadcasting the game tomorrow night?

I thought Coach Dillard started in 2000,after coach Wills left.He was my coach during my hs years of 2000-2003.

I graduated in 2000 at Gville and Wills was still the coach in 2000. Not exactly sure what year Dillard started but know Wills was coach in 2000.

Yes Jbalumni81 the game will be at Gville if Gville and South Pitt both win. If Givlle wins and South Pitt loses, the Gville/Coalfield game will be at Coalfield.

Yes Grunt, the Gville/Eagleville game will be broadcast on the radio. Tune in to the Carthage radio station. 104.1 The Ranch.

It's kind of scattered, some by the field, there are some across the street and there some all around the school. When you arrive if you're looking at the front of the school to the right side is a drive that leads back to the basketball gym, big parking lot you can take the sidewalk across the courtyard and down by the baseball field right to the stadium, about 300 yards. Y'all travel well, it should be a packed house. The field is very nice and the stands are the aluminum stadium type, visitor's side runs from about the 35 to 35, there's a lot of standing room around the track/fence. They have a nice concession stand but there's no fast food and only a Mexican restaurant and a diner in town, may want to stop off at M'boro they have everything. If you eat at the field I recommend the bbq baked potato loaded.

Yes we travel very well and we should have the visitor side pretty much packed. Thanks for the layout of campus and the tip on the bbq baked potato. Might have to try that.

I didn't know how to register and join coacht so I got a friend to set it up for me and he is a smith county fan and did it as a joke. NOT FUNNY HUH! lol. I cannot change it til the end of the season cause of bigones. Trust me after this season is over I will have it changed. Trust me.

I am their parent and these statements about my sons talking smack aren't true. I teach them to be respectful and play hard. I don't even want them being disrespectful on the field ! This is not a family ties good humor thing, that is how situtations like this gets started. I don't even talk trash, because as my dad always told me" You may have to eat those words someday."

I apologize if I stepped on anyone's toes over the posting. I meant nothing at all like the posting was taken. I hope to see a good game come Friday night at Eagleville. I would sure hate to drive an hour and a half to see a blowout by either team. With that being said, I do know alot about Gville. I know they are very good this year. Great defense with good linebacker and standout DT. On offense, they are very explosive. Great quickness and very good hands. A quarterback that knows the game well and plays very smart as a junior. I don't think Gville will mercy rule Eagleville like alot has said, but I do believe Gville will beat them by atleast 2 scores. Just don't think Eagleville is quite at the level of Gville. Going in the right direction but not quite yet. But who knows. Thats why they play the game. I would have never said the FC beats Trousdale last night either. Good luck to both teams but just think Gville gets to the quarters this year once again.

I have never been to a game at Eagleville High School. What are the best directions from Gville and how is the parking at Eagleville? Is there plenty of parking or should I get there early to get a good parking place. Also, the same question as far as the seating cause Gville will bring alot of fans down to Eagleville.

I will say that if Eagleville doesn't block #53 Coen it will be a long night. Honestly there hasn't been anyone to block him all year. He is a beast. He is being called the "The Beast in the East."

I was just making the comment that they played for Eagleville. Yeah I guess I did make it sound like it was them that was saying stuff but that never was the case. They haven't said anything about the game. Should have worded the post alittle different. Meant nothing toward Eagleville or anyone on the team. Things just got taken the wrong way.

I never said the kids said anything. Its nothing more than a family competition. Thats it

I know Nathan pretty well on and off the field, don't know his brother as well, he play'd baseball with my son this past season for them. He's one of the finest, well mannered young men I know, I seriously doubt he would be talking any smack unless he was kidding around with his family. He is no smack talker, he's a bringer and he will play his guts out and deliver the blows as a runner or tackler.

I never said he said anything. The players have not said anything about the game. I am sure they will be ready friday night. Its just family competition between the family. Thats it. Its just not everyday a family gets to have alittle fun with a game. None of the players have said anything.

If they're talking smack then they're not getting it from their coaches, that's for sure, I'll have a word with coach Pip on that, he finds some creative extra workouts for that kinda stuff, trust me, do they start? Maybe you should talk to them and not put it on the whole team? I don't think the mentality of the team is that they're world beaters, they've gotten accustomed to being counted out in almost every game this year and nothing can bring a team together and focused or more determined than that. I seriously doubt they're taking Gordonsville lightly, I know several boys on the team and their parents and they're not made that way. G'ville should get a tough, hard hitting game win or lose.

I don't think its the players that are saying anything. Like I said, its a family competition more than anything. They are now playing for Eagleville and pretty much the whole family graduated from Gville. Its just a family competition. Thats it. Nothing else.

Eagleville finds a way to win every week. Nathan Jernigan will be on his "A" game and I like their chances.

Nathan might be on his "A" game friday night but so will Tyler Coen and the rest of Gville's defense. I think the Tiger defense will be camped out alot in the Eagleville's backfield all night. Go Tigers!

How does your wife have two nephews playing for Eagleville ? There are only 3 sets of brothers playing on the team and only one set of them are staters. If the parents are talking smack they need to cease and desist, because they are not speaking for the team.

My wife's nephews are Nathan and Andrew Jernigan. I don't know but the smack that has been laid down may just be a family thing since my wife and I and most of the family graduated from Gville. Either way, I think Gville wins by atleast 2 scores.
