Once again difference is.. Giles county was toughest team their opponent has played all year.. Opponent was 3rd or 4th best team on Giles schedule.. Great season to Trez...The Bobcat train keeps rolling

Yes both teams were 8-2 Giles county lost to 2 decent programs .. Maybe you have heard of them CPA and ensworth.. Let's not start comparing schedules again. That didn't work out well earlier in this thread

I don't have a dog in this fight. Since it's been a while since Giles beat WH, they may not want to put a W on their schedule just yet. WH's coach, Jeff Porter seems to find a gameplan to pull out tight games in tough spots. It's easy to call other teams "cupcakes" when you didn't see them play. Records don't always reflect how close games really are. Greenbrier did lose in OT by 3 to WH, but by the time Greenbrier played Lexington we had several injuries we didn't have against WH. If you're basing your predictions on who beat who, you may be disappointed.

 

The further WH goes into the playoff, the more the town turns out. Giles can't outnumber BD fans on Friday night (Bring your chairs or plan to stand), and somehow their 12th man makes a big difference in playoffs.

 

Just saying, don't count your chickens before they hatch. Giles. The Blue Devils may not be on here spouting off, but it's not because they are scared. Let the boys talk on the field, and may the best team win. And last time I looked, you're both 8-2 in regular season.

Yea this should be a very good game...They played in the Spring and Giles County whooped us BUT the basically played the backups and freshmen due the fact all the Skill players Run track and made it to state....Cant Wait untill friday GO FIREBIRDS

Mtp will be super athletic as always if they get someone to handle the point they will be in the mix. Hampshire will have a great record coming into district due to very soft scheduling . Beating up on the lower level home school teams and the weaker ones in MTAC.. Santa Fe could surprise some ppl they lost Clanton but have a BIG team coming back. But I think as everyone else does every team in both sides of region will be chasing CA.

Personally I love seeing a small southern school like a 1-2A beat down a bigger school from the north like a 4-5A school. it happens alot

A coworker was asking me about the private school I coached at and any financial aid we offered.. I told him it is need based and only up to 50%.. He said we would probably send him to Columbia Academy bc his church had offered to foot the whole bill..

I tried to explain this to a Columbia Academy poster 1 day.. It was like trying to use common sense with a liberal..

Haven't had a coach in 2yrs.. It's a shame to.. They have a cpl kids that could start for anybody in district.. And they hire coaches that have nvr played or coached at even a high school level.. It's just a fundraiser and social event for the school..

Ensworth vs. colerain(Cincinnati) herbstreit used to put on the Espn high school shootout where the best teams in the nation would play schools from just the city of Cincinnati .. And teams from Cincinnati won 90% of those games over national powers such as don bosco prep/Hoover/de lasalle

I am always supportive win or lose. Have been on here for years now. Not just a bandwagon fan here.

 

Sad to know the boys of Loretto now know you think it's delusional to support them even when they're down. Not dealing with professional teams here. Just young men..... That's being down to earth.

 

mTp handled the Bog Boys of BGA just fine until the 4th when their back started scoring a lot. Cwood's small defense apparently handled those Big Boys of yours well too to limit the Stangs to just 20.....lol... nothing wrong with a little smack now... is it?

Lol.. Bobcat93.. If you have 5plays and you run them out of 8 different formations I think that equals 40 different plays.. But I guess you would rather have a team with 40 different formations and only run 2 out of each.. And then only run 1 of those plays well bc you spend all of practice teaching formations instead of execution.. Lets see which will be harder to defend..
