Or could go with
Bruceton
Huntingdon
Gleason
-
Dresden
West Carroll
Gleason
-
Hope it's a good one, Dawgs will have to play some dang good ball to compete.
-
Don't imagine the Lions give a rip if the Ambassador says they have no shot.
-
You talk about Gleason and Greenfield here's a curveball for you what if they consolidate these schools. My understanding is if these two schools were to go to Dresden or to Westview it would only make Dresden a 2a team under the current TSSAA rules and I believe Westview would stay where they are now. I know I'm talking dirty but that's just a curveball for you.
Dresden and UC are the two biggest single A teams in current classification, they were close to being the two smallest double A schools in this classification also. Huntingdon, UC, McKenzie, and Dresden seem to always float back and forth (1A to 2A) on this enrollment bubble.
I agree..... with the addition of the Taterheads it would barely put a dent in any schools enrollment numbers LOL!
maybe 140ish on numbers

Someone a little bitter? If you can't look at this years Gleason team and not tell they are down from last year idk what to say. And to talk about mistakes..... What about the mistakes GC made to get you guys the lead? That's not a very good argument. I would say gc did a little more than hang around. Gleason played a hard game a got a win. The clock keeper did their best to keep it that way.
Bitter? we won, with a very down team. lol
You win.....I'll buy you a whiny burger.
Been fun, best of luck with Halls and we'll focus on the Rebs

Mckenzie by 20+. Gleason is down this year...big time. Even Lampkins said they shouldn't have their only win against Gibson County.
With the size and numbers, your Gibson Co team should beat one of the smallest playing football schools in the state with a running clock! Should have beat us "big time" since were down "big time" Good thing we had 3 crucial second half mistakes to keep you guys hanging around.

Tater heads will be pulling for the Iris boys in this district match up.
-
The big back still playing for the Vikings?
-
Rebels lost a lot from last year like a lot of teams, but are still well coached. LC shot themselves in the foot with turnovers last week. Dawgs slim in numbers similar to LC, but will play with a lot of heart this week. The positive direction from last week will carry over. Put a wheel back on the bus last week.Rebels should win this game but they cannot overlook Gleason. Gleason always plays the Rebels a tough game. If the Rebels play like they did against Lake County the Rebels will win.
Dawg up!
-
Good luck Gleason. Take it to em.
Thanks again cwood, best of luck to you guys this year.

Should be a winnable game for these Bulldogs also. I won't comment too much, I'll just keep things clean and hope these coaches and players get this business worked out. These kids aren't always gonna have these Friday nights
Already said this once
"Depends on if the negativity permeates through the squad, If it does, it will for sure be a tough one. If they come out with heads on right, confident, and aggressive, we have a chance to win any game"

Greenfield wanted it more, deserving win. Jackets will compete all year, good spring board for there program. Smithson young man, a good ball player and very good sportsman. Hate losing as bad as anyone, but feeling we got are wake up early this year. Copeland a real stud for us again on both sides of ball. We got to open play book, and get a whole lot better on D.
I'll continue to be positive and keep pulling for these Dawgs.
PS......I don't bring phone in game, no in game updates from me. Lol
Too busy watching all the small stuff, blocks, hips turned, angles, intensity, body language, leadership.......these are basics, but stuff they can hang there hat on at the end of game. The big plays will come

Roll on Lions!
-
Why spank you very much 364 and wingman
-
Is this game being played at bethel
At the high school jr high field.
-
Since Westview is going to destroy Huntingdon anyways, maybe we should just let TCA play them so y'all can quit all your whining.
Rolling
-
Martin people say the stangs going both ways, don't see how score is close.
Oh this should be good.
For the record I got Huntingdon in a closer battle
-
Some say Dresden will match up better with this Trenton squad. Some say Trenton wins by 7 plus
-
Where is Regis? He's the West Carroll guru.
-
Small aggressive corner you guys have, kept catching my eye defensively during the Westview game. I like him, #5 maybe?
Let me guess......uh he's a freshman
-
With cavitt being 6'4" hope your corners can cover someone that large. They will throw it up to him all the time and let him go get it.
5'8 can compete with 6'4 with timing, angles, and apex

All,
I work with Duckman's daughter and if you didn't know, I am the voice of the McKenzie Rebels on Friday nights. Today, it was brought to our attention the family needs assistance with the funeral expenses. There has been a fund set up to help the family cover funeral expenses. I have been in contact with Butchie today who has been speaking with the family today. He has asked me to post the following link.

So, if you can assist the family, it will be greatly appreciated.
Fly High Duck! Go Rebels and Dawgs!

Thanks for sharing VandT, great way to support!
Hit this link earlier today, it's quick and easy

Hopefully the Jackets have run the ball, Bulldog secondary sticks with coverage. No scramble around passing from drop off coverage. 34 gonna be coming hard off edge, he's tough to get away from. 31 on the other end of that, he's not pretty.....
Secondary key to this game, defensively
Dawgs offense will handle business as well
McKenzie vs. Gleason
in Class 1A & Class 2A

Hope so on our end Maverick, you guys have had the Dawgs number for almost 30 years I hear
