  1. Coach O has no Swanger as he will play for the Baylor School Red Raiders next year, No Smith at RB & as I understand it, if he has not played any for the woorriors this spring couldn't he transfer & play for us this fall? Anyone have Bradley Smith's daddy's phone number?

  2. I watched Bledsoe last year &  they were not much, worst team I have seen in Pikeville in 20 years or so, the middle school program is a joke, kids had size but were slow & had no blocking ( which is coaching) So with not much help coming from the middle school this year & with what they put on the field last year Bledsoe is back to being the joke of the Valley like the late 80's when we were in school. Pikeville had big kids but they were lazy, couldn't block, & didn't have the heart. Our middle school could have scored 100 on them in Pikeville if coach seen fit so we don't have to worry about hearing much smack talk coming out of Pikeville in the next few years, which is A-OK to a old Indian like me.hahahaha

  3. Talked to a couple kids tonight & reminded them about the 5 or so years Bledsoe beat us in a row & wanted to make that game a priority, well I didn't know how much of a deal Coach is making about Lusk north. It's is on top of the list, & I hope to see a 40 point win this year, with all the crap going on up there it looks bad for them, I think were a solid #2 in the District this year & if we can upset Signal I think we could go far. Our line looked good & will only get better. Good Luck Indians this season, keep focus & keep fighting onward.

  4. Boy did I hit that nail on the head or what, I said earlier today on here it would be a 7 score shalacking & that is exactly what it was, lol... I saw Boo & Scotty there & it's like thay said for a SC fan this is about as good as it gets when the Indians ain't on the field. Let's see, it was a trip to Pikeville to watch the wooriors get beat by 7 TD's, they got a big goose egg laid apon them, & those Cowbells & that announcer was awful quite tonite. I was as good for me as if I was watching my Dallas Cowboys beat the Steelers in a Super Bowl. Sorry bout your draw in the playoff's Pikeville, Coach Layne did all he could for ya, Im sure :twisted: .... Now I hope CAK lays the smackdown on the Tornado's so it will look even worse on the wooriors...lol

  5. Bledsoe gets beat by 7 scores tonite :o ..... I am so looking foward to this game, there won't be any cowbell's ringing tonite on the Wooriors side, & I hope there biased announcer chokes on a dang hot dog, I hate that dude. All I can say is get ready to see a shellacking tonite in Pikeville.....lol

    P.S. All of Sequatchie is pulling for ya Big Blue :roflolk:

  6. Say what you want about the Indians, I'll admit we were down this year & got beat by Bledsoe because we had no QB, all it takes to beat pikeville is a passing game or speed around the edge as they can not stop either :mrgreen: (Ask Fain as they couldn't even catch him & Alcoa has alot more speed than Jerry has). Unfortunutally my Indians didn't have much of either (Speed or Passing Game)nor did we have a coaching staff that could won a wee-pee game. Barger needs to be gone :evil: as we have alot of good kids comming on from 5th grade up that deserve alot better than what we are giving our high school kids at this time, mabey Ms. Austin and some of the others will get him gone before long as we really need a change. But back to week 12 & the thrashing comming this weekend in wooriorville, get ready pikeville, your going to see how good your bragged up team is againsed a decent 3-a team, sad thing is Alcoa will get the smack down laid to them the next week by CAK :thumb: .

    Score - Alcoa as much as there coach wants to put on the waaaaaay overrated wooriors, & bledsoe don't break double digits in the sand pitted cow pasture. Here's another bold prediction, bledsoe will not have 100 yards rushing or 100 yeard passing this weekend...lol I am so going to love watching this game, This week the best feeling in the world for a sequatchie county indian fan is watching the blabber mouthed wooriors get hammered.... Jhoutsider & Bledsoe b ya'll ready for what is comming this weekend :?:

  7. Bledsoe is not as good as there record for sure, I forsee a continuous clock by the 2nd quarter. I saw alot of that puke blue at our game againsed Signal, so it's time the Indian Faithful return that favor :twisted: , this will be my most memorable game of this year, Real & his little wooriors getting there rightful yearly playoff tailkicking, it amazes me the finally made it out of the first round in this mellinium...lol

    Here is the scoop on beating the wooriors Alcoa, throw the ball Real's defense couldn't stop a 12 year old QB with a little Talent, #22 is way overrated he is small and not near as good a pure runner as several in this valley are, hit him in the mouth he will quit :thumb: . #24 is a better back but can not take a hit either, he's bigger but not a power back. #21 is there best RB but never gets the ball coach must not like him or something. #10 is decent QB will not never play saturday ball, gets lucky a couple times a game but nothing to worry about. DB's & FS's are a joke, worst in the district, D-Line is OK but they don't play there strongest or most talented kids they play the kids that there mama's the HS SoftBall coach so run toward #75 he's there weak link by a mile :D .

    Like I said earlier, can't wait for Friday Night Woorior Fans, I will be back Saturday to check out all the excuses, & how you got cheated & ect... & oh yeah, remember when Loudon came calling a couple years ago, well Alcoa ain't Loudon............. There Better........LOLOLOLOLOL... :lol:

  8. Remember the TSSAA makes their rules and interprets their rules.

    Here is my take on what they are now saying.

    In this section it says twelve months from last participation date.

    Section 13. Ineligible Transfer Students.

    The following transfer students are ineligible for a period of twelve months from the student's last participation date (these provisions do not apply to students who have no athletic record for the previous or current school year):

    This is under section 13 and what they hung us on.

    b. A student who transfers as a result of a change of residence is ineligible unless (1) the old residence is outside the territory of the new school, and (2) the new residence is both outside the territory of the old school and inside the territory of the new school;

    They have clearly said he didn't live in our territory but that only matters for twelve months from his past participation date.

    Also just want to put this out there for good measure.

    Section 12. Eligible Transfer Students.

    Except as otherwise provided in Section 13 below (which I posted above), the following transfer students are eligible:

    a. The student has no athletic record in the previous twelve months in any sport sponsored by TSSAA;

    b. There has been a bona fide change of residence by the student's parents or guardian. If such a change of residence occurs between school years, the student must transfer at the beginning of the school year to be eligible. If the change of residence occurs during the school year, the student may transfer without loss of eligibility (1) at the time his/her parents change residence; (2) at the end of the next report card period; (3) at the close of the semester or term; or (4) at the close of the school year;

    c. The student changes schools as a direct result of re-zoning or reassignment of students by the local school system;

    So he had a bona fide move then he was reassigned to SM, which by section 12c, makes him eligible. Except you have section 13b. Question is why do you have section 12c if 13b overrides it? IMO a re-zone redefines the territory because of the bus routs but a reassignment is just that a reassignment and it wouldn't redraw the bus routes. Important to note the TSSAA sees a difference between a re-zone and a reassignment in so much that they put it in their handbook. One last question. If he had lived in Brainerd and played there last year and applied for a hardship and was reassigned to SM as a result, would he be eligible? The answer is no because Section 13a says you must have a bona fide change of address. So again what is section 12c for? I can't see where it would ever apply if section 13 overrides section 12. With that said we had a bunch of ineligible players our first year as they were re-zoned here and the kids didn't have a bona fide change of address. Oh, I guess that goes for East Hamilton as well. I think it even goes for Ooltewah with all their new Brainerd NCLB kids they got this year.

    I hope this helps clear things up a little more. :roflolk:

    All I know is I am glad Coach Layne understands all these things & has a nice purple whistle that is loud enough to hear all the way to the BORO..... Signal Mtn. should not be able to legally recruit kids from other high schools in hamilton county to come to there school to play sports, none of these single county schools are allowed to recruit, our kids are from here, all of them & every single one of them live inside Sequatchie county. It is very unfair that a school like Signal can legally send Bill Price to Howard High School & ask there top athlete's to play for him & it's all legal & they get to come play Sequatchie, Grundy, Bledsoe which are all single county schools with around 500 kids to choose from, yet Price has 1500 to pick his from????? How can anyone see this and think this is anything but absurd???? & you Signal Fans wonder why people blow the whistle & the waited so it will knock you out of any chance of going to the playoffs, I can see exactly why they waited like they did, you are getting a taste of your own medicine....

  9. Cheaters should never come out on top, thanks to the TSSAA for upholding that code for all of us small counties doing thing right & by the book. These transfer's are almost always because of sports, & counties like Hamilton has a big advantage over these small counties around. Signal Mtn. gets to recrute from other schools legally & that in itself is wrong, these other surrounding counties have 1 high school and 1 alone to choose kids from. Thanks Coach Layne & Coach Barger for exposing these cheaters that we all knew they were...

  10. So does that mean Sequatchie is a horrible team to lose too such a "overrated team"?

    I will say this real simple for you so you boys from Pikeville can understand it, "If Seq. had a QB that could throw the ball they would have beat Bledsoe by 3 td's easily" Sequatchie is down this year, real young on the line, but the next 4 or 5 years are going to get real nasty for the Warriors when we come callin'.... I honestly can not see Bledsoe beating us again for 4 or 5 years, judging from the freshman/Soph boys, what the Middle School program has now, & what the Senior Little Indians are doing to your little warriors..... Cheer now guys, it's going to be a while before you get to again...lol

    Here is a little note for anyone playing Pikeville...... Throw the ball they can not stop it, they haven't all season & won't anytime they are on the field, pitiful defense up there as I thought your head coach was a defensive guy :thumb:

  11. I was out of town when Bledsoe came south a couple weeks ago but watched the tape today. Pikeville is way overrated, can not run the ball on a good defense, 22 is just too small & 24 isn't quick enough. the QB is tough but a good safety would kill them. If Sweetwater can pass the Ball they Kill Bledsoe, if not they beat them by a score. If Seq. had any type of passing game this game could have been real nasty & I think anyone that can pass the ball will murder pikeville. Sorry Warrior Fans but the truth is the truth, I honestly could not believe after watching the game that we lost that game.

  12. Guys, all this bantering back and forth is just plain childish, weather coach Layne & coach Barger turned them in or not someone needed to turn them in & they got what they needed. Any High School in the state of Tennessee that plays players that are not cleared to play should have the TSSAA called on them. We all know Signal is going to use this to try & put a hundred on the Indians but we know our defense will not allow that. NO TEAM WILL EVER HANG 100 POINTS ON US IN DUNLAP PERIOD!!!!! The kids would put some starters out before they would let that happen, I heard today down at Win-Bobs that Barger has a plan to prevent the 100 so I sure ain't worried about that rumor.

    My Question is this, if Signal gets there games back will we still host a playoff game? Can Coach Layne help us with that at least, the gate money will help our program for sure, hosting a first round game could bring several thousand dollars to our program, could we be one of the few 3rd seats to host? He sure helped us the past 2 years, 2 years ago when we got to play York we could have been like Pikeville and hosted a Tush Hog team, then last year we got sweet revenge and got to play a way over rated pikeville team in the first round.

  13. Guys I am new to this board as this is my first post on it, I live out of state, I am SCHS class of 90' played ball for SCHS, I want to state this out in the open if Signal Mtn. had a inelligable player playing on there team, coach Layne & Barger were right to report it as Price would have reported Polk Co. for one after his loss to them (if they had one that is)as sorry as some say it is, it is HS Football. If Tennessee could prove Bama has illegal players do you think Dooley would report them?????? Barger & Layne done the same, as for the 100 point, there has NEVER BEEN A HUNDRED LAYED ON SEQUATCHIE & THERE NEVER WILL BE A HUNDRED, SIGNAL CANT DO IT SO STOP WORRYING ABOUT IT........ I say thanks to Coach Layne & Coach Barger for blowing the whistle, Price has been in trouble everywhere he has been before & will always be in trouble. Go Indians, I am staying in town a few extra days to watch this game, I say it's a close on & Jerry Fain has 200 yds on the eagles.......T.Y
