Good Luck eers ! station camp has a great team , hope you go far .

The regular season ends tonight and for a ton of kids, and so will their organized football playing days. What started out as a nervous kid trying to muster up the courage to get out of the car to a practically grown man who will tonight take yet another step toward adulthood.

 

Young men I wish you the best, and thanks from all of us parents who have yelled at you and yelled for you.

 

Go become the men God called you to be. Be a great friend to someone. Be a great husband to someone and someday become a great father to someone that one day may be just like you.

Not taking anything away from Carnes,sounds like he has done a good job for his team this year.It is nice to see much deserved respect for Roundtree though,especially after watching him struggle the beginning of the season with injury.He has always been a very good athlete but more important  he is just a special kid.I have talked about this senior class before but they are all special kids.If we play to our potential tonight we should win this game.Don't know how it will go but win or lose I have mad respect for all these boys.I will miss seeing them on that field.Good Luck Wildcats!

Should be a battle. I would hate for this to be the last game for the senior class. If they put to solid halfs together and win turnover battle..central should walk away with a close win.

I wouldn't say Roundtree played lights out. Only one TD pass. How is one TD lights out ?   Price had the long run and that is all he did. Thing of it is; they didn't make plays. How do you win by 20 when you don't make plays?  I could say the same ; if MJ would have made more plays they would have one by 20.

 

When you cant block, tackle and catch the ball or hold on to the ball you wont beat anyone.

 

The reality is that  WC could not beat MJ.

Are you serious BKISLER.I usually respect your opinion but Roundtree absolutely delivered.He did his job and on one foot.From where i was on WC side everyone considered him a warrior.He probably should not have even played but was out there with his team.you should watch the film again.

thanks! We sure needed something positive! Still ALOT improvement needed! Better line play and cut out stupid penalties. Pass defense has been bailed out by a lot of dropped passes by the opposition. That is the area that scares me when we face GHS this year.

Agree with you MJpride.If our receivers had caught every pass that hit them in the hands (too many dropped passes to count) we should have won that game easily.Gallatin's receivers do catch them.

I heard Roundtree will be playing tonight. Should be a great game. Nothing like playing a cross town rival .

Tough Kid and Great Leader.It should be an exciting atmosphere.Lets hope for no injuries,I don't think either team can handle any more.

Hearing that Roundtree's injury is more severe than I realized.Praying for the recovery of our QB.Still believe that the wildcats will get this win.Go Wildcats!

Roundtree will play and WC will win.He is one tough kid,he will be on the field with his team.   

Did WC lose a lot from last year's team? I know they nearly beat Beech & THE Jalen Hurd last year. If they didn't lose a lot, Cleveland will have a rough night. Herink will through for 300+, but will CHS be able to stop WC's offense?

WC did lose some very good players and have also been struggling with injuries this year.We do have a very good class of seniors this year.Not only great football players but some great young men and leaders.Good Luck Wildcats!

2 of the 3 interceptions were bad throws, the two fumbles were definitely in the endzone, you're right. My only point was that against MJ either the refs were out to get them or they couldn't keep from being flagged. 100+ yards in penalties on any given night is a recipe for failure.

 

Roundtree is one of the top two QB's in 9AAA, no question about that. But wilson central is going to need everything he has come tomorrow night to win, if they start throwing the ball

It is going to take everyone giving everything they have tomorrow night.Our defense,our offensive line,our receivers,RBs,coaches.We need to support our QB,he should not be carrying any games on his shoulders alone.No matter what happens,WC has had a great season.Very proud of all our players,I believe they have given it their all.Good Job Wildcats and Good Luck !

I know it's an MJ/Indy board, but since you asked..... this is my last response concerning WC. The reason why I'm hostile to WC is because I, and my family members have been cussed at/cussed out at WC more than any other school in the state. As a matter of fact, WC is the only school where this has happened to me. My wife was cussed out in the parking lot this year, I heard your student section chanting profanities at the MJ game, I've heard your student section cuss opposing team's players on the bench in basketball while school officials/police officers stood by and laughed, (why is it that your administration is the only one in 9AAA that puts their student section behind the visiting team's bench in basketball?) I've heard your basketball players cuss Beech teachers who were kind enough to volunteer their time as scorekeepers at basketball games. I'm sure there are lots of great folks at WC. I guess I've just run into the few bad ones a lot. Yes, WC is my least favorite team in 9AAA. The reasons above are why.

If you and your family have been cussed out at WC then let me sincerely apologize for that.Hopefully some of the admin. will read this and the problems at BB games,etc. can be corrected.I know that our FB team has made great changes in attitude this year and hopefully will continue to move in the right direction.I personally do not believe in that kind of behavior,I like good clean competition.There are some very good people at WC but there are always ways we can improve.Now we can leave this board for MJ and Indy.Best of luck to both teams.

I love how WC fans have stated all year long that their upcoming opponents have not seen a LB, QB, RB, WR, etc like they have. Go from awful to pretty good and suddenly your team is loaded with all staters. I was at the MJ game, them kicking your tail was no "fluke".

Tandem,Why are you always so hostile toward WC? You guys beat us.As far as bragging about players.I have read pretty much every post on WC this year.In most cases our players are only bragged on after being put down by Beech or another team.Beechs players are bragged on much more and you know thats true.Not understanding when people say WC talks to much.WC really doesnt talk much at all.It is ok for WC fans to come on here and predict their team to win just like every other team does.As far as our LB receiving props,I am glad to finally see it happen.(remember back to beech thread).He is one of our players who is not only great player but great kid.Beech has been the team to get the most attention this year and they deserve it so lighten up.

So sorry to hear this but glad to hear that he is improving.Prayers for him and his family from Wilson Central.

Surprising outcome for me. I was really surprised that MJ's d stepped up the way they did. Best of luck to both teams in the 6A playoffs. I hope ya'll make life miserable for the Williamson and Rutherford Co schools.

Its funny FightinIllini,I have never seen you post on WC before.Where were you when our jr qb threw a 45 yd pass right on the money to win the game against Portland? I didnt see you coming on here to say good job.But yet you want to come on and say nasty things because some SEC recruiters were at our game.I believe in building up our high school athletes,not tearing them down.The bad thing about anonymous is that people don't have to have class.I will miss you wildcatman because you kept your post positive.I think you might have the right idea.

I don't know if WC can hang with MJ. Perry has had the Kitties' number the past couple of years and he's about to dial it up again. I doubt the WC defense can stop the 1-2 punch of Hopkins and McCathern and I'm still not convinced the WC offense is as potent as advertised.

Who are you and why are you constantly getting a new screen name just so you can insult WC? Our team is 8-1,Our defense stopped the best running back in the state.Our Qb is the leading passer in the district with over 1000 yards.Our senior receiver has an offer at a prestigious school.Quess what,they dont have to prove anything to you,they have already proved it.Who knows what will happen thursday night,we will all wait and see.You dont like WC,ok we get it,grow up.

I believe that by this explanation you can see that credit is not something these boys are after.Our Qb had not received any,but I do not believe he should have to sit quietly by and see someone else be praised for something that is false and should be his accomplishment.He is a very humble young man and would not have spoken up for himself but you better believe that others will speak up for him when they see something that wrong.None of our team has asked for or received credit for anything this year.They are a united team that are working their tales off to continue to prove everyone wrong.

Gladefan, I have not once promoted violence or talked about anything other than football.. I have simply stated that we (Lebanon) are going to win friday night. I've only talked about football, and I will continue to talk only about football. I look forward to a competitive yet clean football game between these two in county teams Friday night. I hope both teams leave injury free on Friday night. There is no reason to get so worked up.

Glad to hear that you did not mean to promote violence.The tweets that went out last night had pretty serious threats of a fight after the handshake and many referenced things that were said by BDPinyoface on coach t.Hopefully we can settle that talk down.I wish much luck to the BlueDevils on building your team back up,like I said in earlier post,we know what its like to be a young team.Looking forward to a clean game as well in your great new stadium.
