Could the new coach come from the East?

East Ham is very young and not a lot of confidence. With that said the trip to Greeneville will not help with either of the issue.

If you don"t turn it over you are correct. Trust me having skill players and good backs works well in middle school but not at this level. Got to have some guys up front. 

East Ham will not be as large up front as in years past. They will have a ton of speed. I think this will be a very good game for both schools. 

Canes have got to score TD's when in the red zone........ Not FG"s.

Owls must be expecting to turn it over a lot, I do not think Canes can score 21. 

Stranger things have happened before....... But not this week. Canes will do fine in conference and make playoffs.

I agree that EH D has a long way too go. The O is good but needs to get better. For the 1st time in a long time EH does not have that one back that can make big plays, got to be able to run the ball. 

This will be one heck of a game. Owls are very focused lot of respect here for Rhea. But I give the Owls the edge. Hoot Hoot, Win Win, Owls move to next round. 

OK, This game will not be as close as folks will think. IMO it will be a 3 or 4 score difference. 

i like this Owls team a lot. The best thing that happened to them was the last 2 games of the regular season. I think it made them better. Owls 28-14!

I believe it was a little of both. Our team came out after halftime thinking they had already won and made boneheaded mistakes, lineman pulling running straight up, backs missing the holes, forgetting assignments.. But your defense is very good, definitely the best we've played

Great post..... I would guess as much as EH is getting ready, Stone is working just as hard. I have said this before, we put a lot into this...... But really it's a bunch of 16, 17 and 18 year old's playing a game. Know body really knows what goes thru these kids mind. Fight with the girl friend, teacher gets on the rear ends, stayed up snap chatting or what ever, eats a bunch of crap during the day. So much can happen, but it's fun. I will say this Stone staff and fans are a class bunch should be a fun game. 

I have been around a while, go back when Gatewood was at Ooltewah Coach Gatewood is 5-0 in TSSAA playoffs when he plays a team in the playoffs that he lost too in the regular season. I could list both high school and college that it is very hard to beat a quality team twice. I think EH is a quality team. In 2013 Ooletwah, Cleveland and EH tied for the district champion ship. In the regular season Owls beat EH in a close one. Cleveland beat beat Owls in a close one, and EH beat Cleveland in a close one. Playoff time EH beat Owls, and Cleveland beat EH. So if your in Vegas the odds tell you to take EH in this one. It will be a good game but EH gets this win. The T scored how many points in the 2nd half of the 1st game? Trust me of 18 years being with Gatewood he will prepare and have this team ready. Changes have been made it's playoff time the best players will be on the filed on both sides of the ball # 42 played both ways last week and look for #6 to touch the ball a lot. EH will play everything they got up front even playing O lineman on D to close the middle on the T. Much work will be done on staying home on D. I will take EH on this one. But like in my 1st 2 marriages I was wrong so take it with a grain of salt. 

If Stone scores 24 or more points they win. Canes play very good D. Yes the O can really check out at times. But I think the Canes win this one 17-14..... Strange but it's how it works LA wins game means nothing in the seeding.

51-7 final....EH was pumped for about 3 minutes and thru the delay after that,ols put it own em.does anyone know the average age of EH are they mostly juniors,senoirs etc?

Woods is a Jr. Most of the O line and wide outs are made up of Soph and Jr. The D line has one Sr. LB and DB are Sr and Jr.

The Owls are a heavy favorite. Should win this one very easy. There is no pressure on the Cane's side. All I can say is do not lose this game Owls....... If you do it will be the worse defeat in in last 12 years.

I am here boys! The Chattacane took his bride to hot Atlanta Saturday and Sunday. Yes I saw Rick Springfield the dude has aged. It was a close game, very costly turnovers for the Canes, but the Blue Raiders had them too. I think the Raiders had way to many yellow flags hurt them. Canes played very well in 2nd half things look good the rest of the way. The D played very good, still have got to get a better running game. 

Coach Gatewood still at EH?
