Sequoya scored 28 against subs .... You know unlike some purple team I've seen we actually play other players when up big. No need in beating teams 60-0 with starters playing late 4th.
Sequoyah scored 14 first half against Elizabethon starters and then scored 21 against subs in second half. The Chiefs had 214 yards of total offense in the first half against the starters. Now the Chiefs also scored two touchdowns in the first half against AC and had about 180 yards of total offense in the first half. Both teams threw the ball at will against Sequoyah, the Chiefs pass defense is not very good at all. My take on this game, both teams are going to score some points, neither team has a dominant defense. Elizabethon throws the ball a little better but AC's QB runs the ball very well. This game will be a great one to watch and I am coming up to see it. Football games between good teams becomes about matchups, will be interesting to see how this game turns out. All this from a old Sequoyah fan who watched both games and likes to keep up with numbers.

Sequoyah 27-7 final. Hixson is not very good.

I personally don't see it being close. It won't surprise me if it's a running clock in the second half. Sequoyah has always had trouble with Loudon for some reason or another. Not that they are a bad team, that's not what I'm saying. Loudon just has the voodoo doll on them.
Over the last ten meeting Loudon has won six and Sequoyah has won four, Sequoyah has won two of the last three, not much on the Voodoo doll. Don't know who will win this one, have not got to see Loudon play, it seems that they are improved but the Chiefs are also, should be a good game.

They came up in two family vans. Get your facts straight.
That's the bad thing about being in this Region, none of the Chattanooga teams will bring hardly any fans to the away games, it really kills your gates. I assume AC wil travel well and Sequoyah usually travels fairly well but outside of that don't expect many fans from the other teams.

This was a good football game, score was 26-20 inside five minutes left in the fourth. to evenly matched teams.
-
Final Sequoyah 42-7, the Chiefs passing game was to much for the Wildcats, if Sequoyah would of capitalized more in the second quarter this game may have been much worse.
-
Sequoyah has named Bobby White head football coach, he was the offensive cordinator last season and has practically ran the team the last year or so. Good hire

At some point they all need to grow up and deal with what they have
This thread is the first time i have heard that in a long time, you never hear much about it out of the kids, they are just fine with it. every once in awhile you will hear some old hat bring it up don't think its a problem among the players they get along just fine.

According to the AD they already have 14 applicants for the job.

Knox Catholic at Sequoyah will be a good game, rematch from the AA state final four last year.

Congrats to MLK on the gold ball and also to Central for a great run. The difference in the game was MLK's coach, great halftime adjustments, they were in man the first half and were getting killed by Lynn, switched to zone the second half and kept Central from driving forcing them to settle for outside shots... they outscored Central by 16 the second half.

How will the Chiefs be in 15?
Sequoyah lost some really good players from their final four team last year, going to be tough to replace them, alot of talent returning also. Will be interested to see what their pitching staff looks like, their Ace is back but lost a couple of solid pitchers from last years squad. Also they may have one of the toughest schedules in the state...it is brutal !!!

There was NO recruiting! She plays for the McMinn Fire AAU program and just wanted to play with her friends and Fire teammates! All of Centrals players were McMinn Fire players at one time!
LOL, there would be Central coaches and fans at her Middle School games, I would see them there. They were in her ear since she was in the 6th grade, it was well known they were wanting her to come to Central and I don't blame them, she is the reason they are in the Boro this week.

Jacobi is the real deal, she is a Tellico girl it really hurt the Lady Bears when she decided to go to McMinn Central. I think Tellico may have won a gold ball in single A if she would of played there. Central recruited her hard.

Somebody forgot to tell Westview that they had no chance against Elizabethon, just goes to show ya, anyone can be beat on a given night, basketball is a game of matchups.

I wonder which team we will pull to the roundhouse? I would love to see us pull Livingston, but I do not see them losing region or district. We will obviously be hosting sub-state for no one will beat us in our district or region.Thought's from you guys? You are the ones that have seen them play this year lol.
Lol, may want to ask the Sequoyah Lady Chiefs about that, they just beat those mighty Chargerettes 64-58 for the District Championship , all of the games between these two teams the last couple of years have been close and have come down to the final seconds (except for one) and the Lady Chiefs have won two of the last four meeting... apparently you do not pay attention.

Sequoyah is one of the top teams in AA, i believe the new poll has them #1, already beat alot of good teams, including Catholic and Pigeon Forge and several AAA teams.
-
The Chiefs lost alot of talent with this senior class but they also have alot of good looking young talent in the program, i dont think they will be the team they were this year but watch out the next two years after that!!!
-
Anyone have a score from this game? I can't find one anywhere.
Sequoyah won 46-42 at Hamilton Heights
-
Sequoyah's girls won't be no push over !!!
-
This was a hard hitting defensive game the only differnce "extra points". Congrats to Hixson and great seson Chiefs !!!
-
GO Chiefs !!!!!!!
-
This will be a good game...to close to call but i am pulling for Catholic as bad as i hate to say that !!!

I don't see anyone giving Fulton or Greeneville a challenge past Knoxville.
I agree. I don't see anyone out West giving Fulton or Greenville a challenge either but there is also no one in the East going to challenge these two teams, no doubt these are the best two teams in the state but the next two who knows but my guess is Pearl Cohn and Giles Co.
College bound players. List them/celebrate
