7:00 at Cornersville

Summertown takes win #5 this season from Loretto in a 3-2 victory. This puts Summertown hosting Richland on Monday and Loretto travels to Cornersville. Loretto has played both District 11 foes but Summertown has not played either teams in regular season games. How do these teams match up? Can Summertown and Loretto make it a game 6 on Wednesday?

Summertown in district 12A, I think Columbia Academy in 11A.

Another infield error festival allowed 7 runs in one inning on maybe 2 hits and a few walks. Summertown had more hits and more earned runs with two home runs but lost 7-6.

Summertown defeated Memphis 13-1 & then CPA 5-4 in Thursday evening games.

Actually I am wrong too. In the 6th inning the 5th run was walked in. We left bases loaded. In the 7th inning Beard lead off with a ground rule double. He scored to tie it on a hit by Scott. Scott then scored on a hit from Burleson.

Tying run was walked in. Burleson drove in the go ahead run with a single into left center.

Summertown vrs Lawrence Co wet but was able to play. A few errors by both teams but Summertown out hit Lawrence County to win 9-1.

Summertown A vrs Lawrence County AAA always adds fuel to the County rivalry. They split games last season when Summertown run ruled them in Lawrenceburg. Should be a good test for Summertown. Tuesday Summertown A vrs Spring Hill AA. Spring Hill has a solid baseball program and after these two games Summertown will have been tested early. Should see how the pitching staff can perform against two solid hitting teams.

I don't have one of his NBA jerseys on my wall. Not sure how to spell it but it got the point across.

What are these teams expectations? Who has the best teams returning?

Both teams are good teams and this game didn't decide who is best. Summertown made the first points run of the game and PC made an adjustment. PC made the second points run and Stown struggled to make an adjustment but they did. Both teams play well and if they play 10 times it could easily be a 5-5 split. The low post game was hard for Stown to handle and could be the deciding factor if there is a game three. On the sportsmanship call, when the player that committed the offense went back to the huddle he was pleading his case to Hastings of what he done. Hastings looked right at him and said You can't do that as he shook his head. Correct call that went Stowns way at a bad time of the game for PC. The biggest surprise is they called it, but it was the correct call.

#22 and the two big boys all had a great game. I didn't think Stown was going to be able to hold them off after they figured out Stown couldn't stop them on the low posts. Two consecutive misses and Beard's two blocks were the stops that won it for Stown. If there is a game three it will be an awesome game in the tournament! Gonna be some awesome games in the tournament for sure. Not sure but I heard district tournament is in Lawrenceburg? Well if so they better pull out all the seats because that gym will be full and rocking with District 12 A basketball! Can't wait!! Can't leave the post without saying great game to Beard, Scott, Perry, Ridner, Attkison and The Eagles! Gotta give an honorable mention to the radio guys too, couldn't hear what they were saying but you could tell they were enjoying their broadcast of the game!

Bogus technical foul call with Stown up by 3 and 40 sec left. That set Perry Co up to take the lead. Guess the two bogus calls cancel out.

This is common at all schools. It shouldn't be but it is. To label this Christian Schools is simply trying to start trouble. Maybe you should ask why this is common among most/many schools and why it is accepted anywhere. If you feel like attacking a school, list the school. Dont attack the christian faith due to the ignorance or poor values of a few. It would be just as easy for me to title it "America's Sports Audience" and it would judge us all! My kids don't attend a Christian School, but as a Christian I don't like the way you grouped us all in your title.

It was a lefty but not sure his name. He was pulled in the 4th inning. Summertown hit 2 two run homers by Ambrose and the walk off by Morrison. Morrison also had a 3 run double.
