  1. I agree with every thing you said. Jake will be all District but I dont fell he is MVP due to his limitations. The tourney will be great. Teams seated 1 thru 5, anyone could win.

    AAU

Looking for AAU Team in Middle Tennessee, any suggestions?
  3. 9A Predictions by the week end. Does 1 play 8 - 2 plays 9 and so on? 1. Forrest 2. Community 3 or 4. Cascade 4 or 3. E'ville 5 or 6. Huntland 6 or 5. MTCS 7. Moore County 8. Fay. City
  4. Does anyone think Jake Leverette is still District MVP? 14 points per game? Jacob M. for Huntland hands down, winning team or not. Leverette might make second team in District.
  5. Fayetteville has one district win,Huntland.
  6. You got me, if things finish the way they look, Mark Pope C Hill #1, Jake Leverette #2
  7. My Predictions Community (7-1) visits MTCS (3-5 MTCS Forrest (6-1) hosts Eagleville (4-4) Forrest Cascade (5-3) vs. Huntland (3-5) Huntland Moore County (2-5) visits Fayetteville (2-5) Fayetteville
  8. No but it helps, if you have a post player that has a perimeter game it plays to your advantage. I am not taking away from Jake but he needs more skills to be considered MVP. Jacob McClennan is atheletic, but i would say Spears or McClennan are you MVP's up to this point.
  9. The differance between these players and Jake is they are all atheletic, MVP? c'mon man.
  10. Not kidding, Jake is the only true post player in district. I would sat Jake is not in their class. No one else uses a true post. At 6' 4" he is limited. He cant dribble, he cant shot that well, unless he is under the goal, he is not mobil, etc. Bottom line he has limitations. Still a good player, just not what i would want. As for the best in district, Clay Roberts at Huntland is a lot better Player . My opion.
  11. I agree with your post for the most part. If i were picking i would rather have the Fanning and Simmons kid. To me they are all around better than Jake. 9A Avg. thru 1/13/12 1. Jacob McClennan, Huntland Jr. 23 ppg / 30 three pointers 2. Derrick Spears, MTCS So. 21 ppg / 3. Ben Kelly, Eagleville Jr. 18 ppg / 40 three pointers 4. Mark Pope, C Hill Jr. 17 ppg / 34 three pointers 5. Jake Leverette, Unionville Sr. 16 ppg 6. Micah Farmer, MTCS Sr. 15 ppg 7. Clay Robertson, Huntland Sr. 14 ppg 8. Nick Hopkins, Fay 14 ppg / 35 three pointers 9. Will Holt, Cascade So. 12 ppg / 37 three pointers 10. Zach Williams, Moore Co. Sr. 12 ppg
  12. Not hating on anyone, im just saying you want get very far after the district. In every game this year where you have had competition you have lost. You should beat Cascade. They Play 7 players every night, 5 sophmore, 1 junior and 1 senior no depth.
  13. That would be 3 Juniors, Logan, Zach, Zeke, 1 Senior, Austin and 5 sophmores.Your future is now and it is running out.
  14. Unionville has a good program this year, however strength of schedule will hurt them going down the stretch. They are 97 out of 111 teams. You cant play out of conferance games against teams like Cornersville Central Magnet and Aaron Academy and expect to improve. (Competition breeds sucess)They will fold down the stretch. As for Jake, good ball player but no where near great, not Athletic enough, just big.
