I'm just curious.  Why make choice to not release Matrix and wrestler list in Trackwrestling?  I really don't see the point.

Track is the only way to run a tournment.  Who is running the tournment and table worker has bigger impact on keeping tournment moving quickly.  AAU Soddy was about flawless this past weekend.  Great job!

Startup at 8:00am and not leaving until Midnights is nuts. Way to long of a day!

My thoughts:

Great day of wrestling. A lot of great wrestler battling it out for TN AAU State.

Great job by staff for doing their best to make event positive, even if they weren't given the correct tools.

Great job by Refs. I didn't see any matches decided by them vs the wrestler.

Great job focusing on the finals but i could have done without the WWE annoucer walking between four mats.

The day didn't start out well when coaches and wrestlers couldn't in front door to the event. I was inline for 40 minutes in the mass confusion. I finally got inside and wrestling was annouced to start in 5 minutes.

Single entrance to mat area was nuts. Kids had to walk outside mat area in the dirt also. Hard for coaches to leave mat area and make it back to make sure they don't miss any of their kids matches.

Mat Natzi. I was with a 8 year old on deck wrestler. 20 second left in current match. I was taking a knee and waiting to get his match going. Classless rude aZZ starts screaming at me and kid to move 40 yard away from mat into green grass area I try to explain we are on deck and tournment will last forever if we don't keep matches going. Starts telling me i know nothing about running a tournment and i need to leave area. I know running a tourney is stressfull but you need to check your azz at the door!

Hospitally room. Couldn't tell you since i couldn't leave mat area and make it back in less they 10-15 minutes. They were nice to Refs and let them go short route on other side of arena. Coaches didn't have such luck.

If you wrestle long enough you will lose a few by a refs call. part of it. I say wrestle everyone that shows up in your bracket.

Great job this weekend by AAU and Stone Memorial. It was a great weekend of wrestling and the AAU State Tournment went great with only a few issues that i noticed. Huge task with close to 800 wrestlers. Great job and can't wait until next year!

Pretty funny Bradly.. How about teaching the parents and the kids rules & responsibity? Deadline was set deal with it and get it done. I think i will try that next week at work. Oh sorry boss.. I didn't think coming in 3 hours late really matter.. LOL..

I guess deadline for state registration really doesn't mean anything since more wrestlers are show up tonight that wasn't registered today at noon. How does that happen?

They put the rule in for this years state. I would think AAU wants better wrestling at the state level and more competition; however, mom and dad just want a easier bracket for their little wrestler. They should let anyone wrestle in the tournment as long as they didn't wrestle for state somewhere else. We attended a lot of AAU tournment and most of the brackets were empty. No competition for most weight classes.

Sign everyone up and eliminate the competition on the mat!
