I'm not sure what you mean it's in the citizens club hands?i thought there was about the same amount of young adults as older folks.i know more and more people that were born in Roan mtn are moving to other places,both my brother,and myself have moved away,not for any other reason that we couldn't afford to purchase anything in roan mtn,but that's another subject.so is Cloudland gonna have enough to play

From what I understand is they're gonna make hunter the biggest elementary in carter co,i truly believe that they will be shutting more schools down,maybe not in the next couple of yrs but it will be sooner rather than later.They really need to do something,Hampton elementary is busting at the seems,and Cloudland elementary has empty classrooms.Don't know if any of you guys have heard about the new district rules, supposably kids are being sent back to the school they're districted to,so maybe that will help even out some numbers

Yeah I'm well aware of them only usually play in 11 or 12 players, times are just so different than when I played up there

I have been hearing rumors that my neighbors up the road only has about 10 to 15 players this yr just wondering if this is true or not,if it is true it's really sad they have been solid for many many yrs

The big for hampton is not the same big from last yr,the big this yr is a little more athletic,not as physical.hampton will play as hard has they can for 4 quarters,but they lose focus some that's cost them a few times this season

We made them look better than what they are.  Lady Landers are lost right now.  Sahara's injury hurt but we should still be in every game with the top teams.  There's such good chemistry with the younger players but they're not playing well with the older ones.  One is trying to do too much and we're not getting any offensive output from the other two.  It may be too late to fix it and it could mean we'll be in the dugout early. 

I will agree with the statement that the Landers looked lost,i saw a team that was beat before they even started,and i know that losing a player of that caliber can cause a team to look out of place,but the others need to step up,or sit down. 

Congratulations to the lady Dogs,now the real season begins.just goes to show what a good coach and dedicated girls can accomplish.these girls have worked their butts off and it shows.

Why does ETSU's coach's kid go to DB instead of the hill kinda a slap in the face to the JC

Just wondering why these two no longer play each other? I know they used too,and looking at both teams schedule they play a lot of the same teams 

Hampton lost a lot of leadership,and 10 starters,and could have really used a passing game,no excuses just facts, got beat by a better team

I agree with you,but I also think that some of the problem is the people moving to the mtn are retired,and have no connection to the school,and some but not all parents are raising their boys different,plus there are a lot more distractions

Well im gonna take the DAWGS by 14,with it being homecoming and all the activities going on through out the week,should be a good ol slugfest for a little bit but the DAWGS will pull away

West Ridge has to be one of the worst 6a teams I've seen in a long time,for school that size there has to be more athletes in the halls to choose from
