way to go 11aa, glad to see a district that is down go in and just about sweep an always talented west tn district. hate to see my tigers be the only 11aa team to be put out but it was great to hear that they did give it their all and put up a heck of a fight, great job guys. good luck the rest of the way

Okie Dokie, but I was talking about the younger players. Biased against Waverly......... If Waverly was all I had to worry about, then I would be carefree. I merely stated an opinion. And believe me, its shared. Get over it. You have your opinion, I have mine. And the responses have all come from Waverly fans, what do you expect? LOL

the thing i find funny is that you say your opinion of the girls from waverly being dirty is shared...is that with just you and your computer because while the only ones defending these girls right now are from waverly, the only one to make these accusations have been you.

I dont hate Waverly, but I do think they are mean spirited girls, they are a very rough team, some of them I have watched play since middle school, and they were mean back then too.

 

And I agree, Carr can be a horses behind, but his girls aren't. So don't go hating on Cheatham because of the girls......... they are good girls who play hard, the seniors want this tourney win bad, and they will win it. If I am wrong, I am wrong, but I still say Cheatham gets the win. And btw, I do not live in Cheatham County, they are not my home team.

wow...this group of girls i would have to say are far from mean...i dont know where you come off insulting them like that, whats the hate for?? did you go to a school or play for a school that got beat by some of these girls or what?? i would like to know first which middle school you were talking about about because waverly central players come from both waverly jr high and lakeview elementary and im not going to say who came from where but i would like to know which girls you are talking about are mean because i know this is a false statement for sure!

first to start off, there is no such thing as a lucky win, but there is such thing as a sore loser which you sound like your must be...also you dont seem much of a waverly fan or you wouldnt be pulling so much hate to us, we dont need that crap...if a team is good enough to beat you one time then they deserve credit no matter how their past has been or how the rest of their season goes. so to everyone else on the board, dont let this one so called waverly fan get to you, he obviously knows nothing and shows it.

wow...looks like two good games with the tigerettes winning 33-31 and the tigers falling 53-51...looks like montgomery central has done some turning around this year, looks like they could be a contender this season, good job both teams, wish i coulda made it

waverly is at a fast 2-0 against perry co and houston county with its first district game friday against stewart county, the team is really fast.

What is going on with the Waverly girls?Heard a bunch have quit or got cut?Why do girls not want to play bball in Waverly anymore?Great tradition and coaching there.Come on girls,step up and make Waverly proud .

i think a lot of the reason is the coach...dont take it to heart but thats just my opinion, thats all iv heard the past few years anyways. but maybe with a few wins this season they will be able to find something to get them back on the right track because its been a little while since we'v seen a really good team come through wavo central's tigerettes team, last season was probably one of the best in a while. and i know its not the talent because there have been a lot of talent to come through in the past few years but still the season never showed it... have any changes been thought about??

i dont guess that book will be looked at much next season...on some parts of it anyways...the top 3 spots will be a battle between Camden, Creekwood, and Waverly....4 and 5 will be fought over between harpeth and stewart county and monkey central will be right at the bottom...

Yeah maybe Waverly is good and may beat PC this year. But a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. I mean PC has been down a couple years but things are on the rise for the future. Waverly may win this game.... But Waverly fans need to stop and think are they actually good enough to get anywhere when tourney time comes around or are they going to fade away just like always...........

something i dont guess you realize is waverly is on a rise as well...last year was supposed to be another "rebuilding" year but the team some how managed to find their way into the tourney and surprised many people during the season. this year should be a much better season than the last considering they only lost 1 senior who wasn't able to play in any of the games last season due to an injury from football....so my advice know what your talking about before you come in and start bashing a team /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Tidwell has a great record coaching in that awesome TN River Conference.Anyone can beat those teams!The real teams are on the high school level.Gotta be good to compete and beat those teams.World of difference in coaching at the junior high level and the high school level.Besides,high school season interferes with duck season.

haha...trust me, tidwell would never be able to coach high school, i dont think he would survive without his duck season lol...but you do have to remember one thing, the guys playing for the high school do also come from his coaching and how theyr taught early is pretty important to how they turn out in high school so i would have to say that it is sort of important....

hey its football folks...i think if its students doing it they should let it go i mean when your home team is on defense thats the goal for the fans is to make as much noise as possible to try and help their team. the offense needs to learn to move on the hike and not the horn...what possibly would make you think you have to start playing at the sound of a horn?? now not allowing whistles is understandable because i know iv been to some games and heard whistles and think its the ref stopping play or something but air horns should be part of the atmosphere....let it go

iv got a few extra lawn chairs, might be a little more comfortable than those bleachers anyways lol
