Those Inman boys played Rockwood ball since they were 4 and 5 yrs old. Their uncle was always a coach in and out of their football careers at Rockwood; however ending as their assistant Highschool coach. Their career ended because their uncle which was coach got into an argument wanted to have athletes to make those boys look better. Now they play against the team that taught them everything they know.

I don't disagree that it will be a good game but your ground and pound only scored 7 against Grace. Acording South Pitt our D is better than Graces that does not leave too many points to scored. I like our d's chances if Rockwood does not pass.

Fumbles were the reason RW lost that game.

Grace would have let 21 been put up on them if it wasnt for the new QB not taking good snaps.

I understand you have a good defense... It will be a challenge for the RW offense!

Rockwood won't have much luck running against Boyd. Nobody else has either this year with exception of 2 long runs South Pitt put up. If the Bucs play thier game it won't be close.

I wish you would bet some money on this.

Rockwood will run run run ground it out and pound it.

If you guys can stop our fullback and big play running backs you'll beat us.

Occasional TE pass to throw you off guard, but it's simple what RW is going to try and do.

IF Execution on the Defensive side of the ball, and offense is vanilla.

This will be a GREAT game.

Rockwood will get rushing yards just wait.

Number 1 criteria is total wins...you start playing quality instead of cupcakes..you end up like Sp and TC...because you lose more. Cupcakes is the way to go for homefield advantage for sure.

Most are, Dresden had stout program last year, but they are not really fan favorites. From what i gather. Grace game should be good, with both you guys ranked high and all.

It will be a really good one!

We gotta play defense top notch, but it's gonna be a battle!!

Not sure about Grace. That one is at home for the Tigers, so maybe......but still a long shot.

 

Not easy when 2 of the 3 toughest games are on the road. Kingston and Greenback are tough places to win.

 

RW better come out sharp this Friday. Seq. has quite a few good players back, if RW comes out flat and has to play from behind......you will be looking at a repeat performance from last year.

 

Being at home will help, but still have to make plays.

Always is tough to win at those places... but you have to succeed!

They came out flat last year and just got out played!

I think these boys have the mentality everyone needs to have, this year!!

D-Line woule be their strong point on Defense, but not dominating at all.

 

Of course the LB's are athletic, they're converted DB's!!!

 

In HS football, anything is possible. I won't say they can't be 8-2, or 9-1.

 

I'm staying with 7-3, with 8-2 possible with a win over Kingston, Grace, or Greenback.

 

If the secondary has to make a large amount of tackles, it will be a long year on "D"

The one that started at Sequoyah last year wasnt that good!!

Not near the talent that was there in 2010. I see them at 7-3, with losses coming to Kingston, Grace, and Greenback. Have a chance to be 8-2 if they can steal one of those 3.

 

I think the offense has the potential to be the strongest asset. Question is will the Defense hold up over the course of a season?? Very inexperienced in the defensive backfield. Got some LB's that should be playing DB and some DB's that haven't seen the field very much. Part of that is due to injury.
