Really? I don't feel Like Gibson county kids deserve anything foul. And want them to win just not against oc.

The price you pay when you sell all out to win last season. Not a true program, better try to recruit some more players this offseason. I expect a lot of coaching moves by the central staff this offseason.

Get new material. You have brought up coaching moves more than once. Everyone knows. Its public knowledge. Your not letting the cat out of the bag. The new head coach may very Well already be with the program.

All that was in first half. Starters didn't play in second half. Y'all get mad at onside kicks. Don't give them up. Maybe your coach should have prepared his kids and taught them to fall on the ball. If anyone watches film they know coach Jackson kicks alot of those. Especially to get up quick in first half.

Wow the mighty have fallen, Gibson county and Obion in the same discussion. Haywood will not happen, they beat Dyer County last night 46 to 26! Now Montgomery Central is TERRIBLE this year. Rebels will be 2-8.

Yeah the Senior banner has been up since before the first game of this season . Its located in the same place as last years banner. Please take it easy on the the smack talk about coach J. Remember that alot of us have kids playing for OC. Please don't let all this get out of hand and ruin our kids time in high school football. These young men read the message boards on here also.

Alot of kid's do read these posts. From "all" schools. People like ucbrad get on here with personal issues and don't realize they effect the kids...... or Maybe That's there intent. ?

Good Luck Rebels in the Crocket County game Friday night. One question and maybe someone will know. Last year, the south end of the practice facility had a billboard size picture of all of the Seniors on the team. The last time I was through Troy a few days ago, there was no sign of this years Seniors. Why is last year any different than this year, you still have Seniors and they work just as hard as last years Seniors except they are now 0 - 3 and last year they were 3 - 0. Must be a coach Jackson thing and not proud of his kids this year. It's not right and should have never put that banner up last year, afterall, just one game and done in the playoffs. Don't get me started on being fair but that is NOT being fair. Just my opinion and I know the kids may be wondering the same thing.

The Rebels are getting better each game but their toughest teams on this years schedule still await ( Crocket Co., South Gibson and Covington ). I look for the Rebels to fight hard and not give up as they go into each game but as they know, 0 - 3 is far different than what they were this time last year. For sure they have one win coming with Gibson County but I just feel that to many skilled players and a very very skilled coach has the Rebels on the loosing end this week with a 28 point loss. Just think this are getting tougher in the camp each day and Jackson is not being able to handle what is dealt to him right now in what to do to fix things. Good luck and will be pullin for the Red, Blue and White.

Well I didnt go to every OC game last year but the 3 I went to I didnt see a power running set at all. One of those games was the regular season Covington game. I was sitting in the stands wondering why the offense stayed with the spread with the ball on the 7 yard line. This happened atleast 3 differant series and when OC had to settle for fg's a couple of times it cost em the game. I truly hope what you are saying is true. i hope they will rune the power game more often. I do remember the 2010 season game it ws a good game. Close for most of the game and OC took it away in the 4th with Fair doing what he does best.

Fair had back to back 1000 yd seasons out of the spread offense. I know alot of us 40 plussers have the 4yds and a cloud of dust mentality. And true it works when used right. I just don't think obion's offensive style is the problem this year or last. But hey I'm just a dad in the stands.I know for certain its much easier to coach and have all the right answers from where I'm sitting! Ha ha.

First thing is the game was switched because chances of bad storms not just rain. Last years game was moved because of a 30% chance of rain. Second thing is covington is still good but very beatable. Munford looks like tarzan plays like jane. Bolton was very physical with covington and made it a very close game than what the score showed. Bolton threw two int for scores and Covingtons offense only scored twice against bolton. Munford is just terrible. Only thing that hurts dburg right now is that many of their starters have only played one quarter so far. If dburg has a chance to win then they need to score early often and make some stops defensively. Dburgs def last year was the only def that held cov offense to very few scores. Turnovers and conditioning will prove who is victorious in this game that will be really close.

Last years game was moved Because of alumni night, etc... that couldn't take place in the rain.

Wait a minute...Dyersburg people ridiculed Obion Co. for moving a game last year b/c of rain and now they are moving a game b/c of rain? Now that's funny.

Yep!!!! Also heard that there coach is riding piggy back on the assistant coaches back incase of high water!!

Also did it in 2010 vs Uc. Jackson ran Fair hard That night. Grind it out most of the night. If you remember a low scoring game And lots of Fair. And against Uc this year 28 passes and 25 rushes. Pretty balanced. Just young.

When Westview comes knocking this week and they do just exactly what I described in my earlier post you will see what Im talking about. This offense,even last year, had huge problems when they drove inside the 10 or 15 yard line. Those guys were great at scoring from 40 yards out but struggled everytime they got close. Jackson needed to change it up back then. He needs to change it up now. If he knows how. Run the spread when it works and when it aint working so good , line those friggin meat grinders up and cram that football down thier throat. I know OC can do that and it will work. This is how the game is played. You see it at every level.

OC did have packages like that last year and before. Even went under center last year on short yardage. Might not Have it installed yet with these young cats but they have it. If I'm not mistaken they even had There big linebacker as a fullback when needed lined up behind the two big boys on the line. Fair also had several goal line runs behind this as did Phipps. Youth And poor tackling is the problem this year. But I know everyone has the sky is falling attitude since There 0-2.

Yes 6 turnovers. You are correct. But there is another stat that says over 400yds offense. That's not having the talent to run our offense. QB was 18-24 at the half with over 200 passing. That's not lack of ability to run the offense. Lack of defense is more my concern. Either one of us can use stats to prove our argument. Nonetheless the rebels lost. Need a big win this week. Go REBELS!!!

Covington by two scores!

My two cents worth of nothing says this: I think OC should move away from the style of offense they play now and go with thier strengths. Like UCGRAD said run the ball more and throw less. Get that big ole line moving some people and throw outta that. Im talking some kind of I- formation set up with a big fullback leading the way for Warner and Hyde. Maybe some kind of wishbone. Let these guys get some footing. Right now OC dont have the horses to do what they are trying to do.

Defense struggled against Ripley not offense. My opinion is as a team We are closer in speed to westview than Ripley. Nonetheless we all have opinions and It Should be a good game to watch.

I understand. Good luck to the Rebels but as my above post said....my heart is with the Rebels but gut feeling is with the Chargers.
