i like coach rogers too. he has alot of passion and fire for the game.i like the way the basketball program is heading but less get pass east ridge first on friday which will be another close game just like last time. they seem to be getting hot. hope coach rogers and the young pounders don't over look them because they can beat us . but i expect to win!and if they beat east ridge on friday. the dome will be live and loud on tuesday and will be another big game for our young pounders. if we get a when next tuesday it will shake up the district standing's and it will become a three team race instead of a two team race, so lets see. p.s the brainerd game the whole team will be back togather for the first time all see. well i hope so if nothing else happens form now to tuesday. lol you never know with these young guys....

no holiday tournaments for us this year coach rogers take it easy on the scheduling. with this beginning the whole teams first year on varsity except the one lone senior. just been alot of practicing and working out in the gym for these young guys over the break. yeah another statement game for the young boys. they seem to be excited about playing a good boyd team after seeing them play in the best of preps and all the hype surrounding boyd basketball team right now.

i see that it is only a couple of games tomorrow night in chatt. so if your not doing anything the best match up i see tomorrow is central vs boyd. so come on out and watch the game at boyd 7:30. i know boyd has been on a high lately since earning everyone's respect at best of preps tournament. so i'm expecting my young talent pounders to be focus and play hard.

this is an no excuse game. with every key piece being back and health for central. i expect them to win this close game. i expect howard to come out fighting but down the stretch central will pull away. losing to red bank lite a fire under the boys.

central doesn't have a game on the 20th and long is suspend form school until the first of next year according to one of the assistant principal's. don't know why.. and brainerd will won. i believe tipton will be the difference can't see anybody form tyner matching up with him. but it will be a good close game. jamike is back ti full strength.

yeah it should be a good game with poole coming back and Long being placed back in the rotation. i except the young pounders to bounce back strong.so come on up to hwy58 and enjoy a good game

yepp your right!!!!!! know doubt in my mind if jordan or jamike poole would have played central would have one that game. but the boys played good never showed fear and kept fighting to the end great game. red bank friday i heard poole still want play til next tuesday. no time frame on long. but the young pounders are very deep with young talent.

well my young pounders got tested tonight after east ridge got romp by the owls monday they came to central ready to play first period was 21-7 by half time it was 37-30. but my young pounders didn't get rattled or phased by the fast start east ridge got off to. they wake up in the second half and won the game by two 66-64. poole and tiller carried the team as usually. poole had the game high with 22 basiclly had a double double and tiller had 17 and ryan montgomery had good bench points for us i think he had 12 and a monster dunk that got the pounders fired up. terry tiller played awesome defense and came up with some key steals and lay ups to help the young central pounders improve to 2-0. i believe they were caught looking head to brainerd tonight but the young pounders never hang there head down and kept fighting. great game to tonight, great crowd very exciting. next game for my young pounders at brainerd tuesday 7:30. youth vs experience. alot of hype around this game guys. so are the young pounders ready for the stage and can they get thee upset or will the talent older bunch form brainerd run them out the gym? well just in case you didn't know i have my money on the pounders!!!!!!! call me basis i guess. its only his second year playing basketball. right now he is a working progress. we play east ridge tuesday at central. i'll let you guys know how they look.

your funny man central has a complete team. you keep bring up jordan long like he makes our team or something. he's a great kid and a good contributor to our team but tre tiller,teron hayes and poole carries our team. but its not a one man show at central its a good team who has a chance in the next couple of years to be come a great team and bring home a gold ball back to chattanooga in the near future!!! and tynerramfan is right tyner and brainerd should be 1 or 2 because they have alot of seniors and juniors back on both teams.but i believe my young central pounders will give both teams a run for there money in the district this year. we play east ridge next have anybody seen there team play??? yet i know they still have eddie.

well my pounders are young very young. one senior on they whole team. did do good in the playday at mcCallie but you left out one kid out who lead the team in points both games vs soddy and mcCallie jamike poole. this team will surpise some people because they have alot of chemistry since half of the team has been playing togather since six grade. but i expected brainerd to win the district. play norte dame tuesday at central. lets see how my boys do!

was up fellas? umm allen suppose to be adding one more game because we only have 9 and McMinn co last wow!!!!!! but i look forward talking central football with you guys when basketball season is over. central has a pretty good basketball team if you get a chance check them out 11-3 and won the the hixson classic Christmas tournament. might see some of your favorite football players out there. go pounders!!!!

tistheseason i couldn't agree with you more. that's y i put all the blame on allen because he has talent and carter and cook knows what they are doing but he want allow then to. that's y i keep and will blaming allen for our program problems. and dunn is a awesome coach and knows what he is doing too. he has even stated before allen want listen to anybody comments or thoughts but his own. if allen doesn't do good next year he needs to let someone else get a chance.

like i said before the proof is in the pudding. the facts are right there in your face. its no need for me to waste my time explaining or trying to convince you. either you see it or you don't! can he correct the problems yes but will he?? we shall see!!

wow someone who finally understand me!!! gentlemen since the start of the season i've been trying to tell you about coach allen. this it isn't a surprise that we are not winning but NO all yall wanted to do was make excuse for him saying we have trouble kids and other bs. but the proof is in the pudding know. so now i'm just sitting back watching it all unfold like i knew it would. but hey no one wanted to listen to me. but time tells it all!! let see what he will do next year in his third season because that is when barger started to win.. still trying to give allen the benefit of the doubt and i will leave it at that. but nice to see someone else repeat the somethings that i've posted before.

no names... just been hearing coach allen say big changes are coming next year and usually when a coach say's that coaching staff starts to look a little different then it did before. maybe i'm just jumping the gun...

central has enough talent to win out but the playing is the real question. and it's been the problem all year i do expect changes with the assi. coaches this off season don't know if allen ready to jump ship yet but i will say this "a man's track record speaks for it's self" and he has been known to jump ship or pull the lane kiffin when things havn't went the way he has expected it to. either way it go's it wouldn't bother me if he stayed or if he left. so we shall see!!! i'm glad you got to see the athletes we do have. i still question the coaching deicsions alot. but time well tell.. i think if he runs spread more he would be more better off. the players did get gassed but coach t and his staff did better halftime adjustments to. but central always get fired up for tyner the last couple of years tyner and central has played close games besides tonight maybe because the schools are 6 miles apart who knows y...

congrats to tyner !!! i am just proud the boys came out and fought after last week showing.

i'm always pulling for central no matter the odds. and it doesn't matter if allen calls the play's or not....... (i'll keep the rest to myself). but i would like to see the boys play with more heart and desire allen can't doing anything about that. they have to pull togather for them self and have some pride about there self. because like everyone said last week it look like they were just out there.

actually funk is a freshman and number 11 who caught an int tonight is a freshman and a couple of d and o lineman who got in the game tonight were freshman. also one of the db was a freshman. i also been trying to tell you guys form day one that allens not a good coach.but i'm still trying to give him the benefit of the doubt.

no hixson is undefeated in district play whoever wins between eh and hixson next weeks is in first place i guess rb will get the thrid spot.
