No doubt Coach Ballard has proven himself to be a great Coach , my question is to the Greeneville fans , does it bother you guys that your Team went and Jumped on the Falcon Pre-Game ?? It really seemed like the Greeneville coaches didn't mind the team doing that . Just curious if you guys have no problem with that ?

This game is already out of hand at 35-0 Maryville !

You maybe right about Maryville beating us, whats so bad about that. Maryville has just about beating everyone that has got in their way.Morristown East is going to enjoy their chance vs Maryville, We have alot of players that will be back next year,what better way then play the best and see how you do.

 

I hope you can come to the game Friday night, If your not a Maryville fan,  we could use all the help we can get.

Who is Baylor's OC ?

Guys, I think EASTFAN wants to talk about Mo East a little too.  Soooo, where's a good place to eat between the Model City and Morristown? 

 

Ok, the game... I personally think MoEast has to stop the DB running game off the tackles, and keep the DEs home and contain.  I've seen DB twice this year and think this goes a good ways towards stopping DB.  MoEast has to own the line when on defense.  I don't see DB's passing game beating you.  The MoEast D line has to keep the Indian front hogs from latching on and preventing pursuit of the ball.  If you have a group of refs that like to see the color of their own flags on the green turf, then I think this will also be plus for MoEast as well, as weird as that sounds coming outta my head.  They will assist on the latching on I refer to.  Stop the pulling Indian linemen on trap plays and contain around the ends.  Flush the QB and he'll tuck it quick.  I'd want him to put it in the air if I had good dbs.

I would like it if Greeneville could pull out a win.  But the talented group coming out of Fulton will unfortunately win easily.  My prediction Fulton 56 Greeneville 14.

Sorry Greeneville fans, but this should not even be a game. Play the 2nd team and it still want be a game! Go Devils, bring back a gold ball, but TSSAA shouldn't even schedule playoff games like this. You guys done stomped the crap out of them! I guess thats the way the ball rolls! Now listen all you WG haters I am saying this on a positive note! WG had a down year and I dont see it getting better over the next two years! The only competition you will have is Fulton, and you will have no problem with them. Bring the Gold ball back to Greene County! Good Luck guys!

I have seen both play. #74 on the D-line is the only one to worry about.

Anderson County will be around until the Quarterfinals when They will lose to Knox-West.

Bottom line is this, Anderson County wins by 30+   !!!

The head coach that is their now is a good coach but most of his assistant coaches are terrible.The oc needs to go back to middle school where he belongs. Kisabeth had great assistant coaches,Cobble dose not.

1timeout is right.  These assistants were forced upon coach cobble, just as some of them were when medows was there and Euverard and coach anderson, although coach anderson was in over his head to begin with. Coach Cobble IS a good coach, its just what he has to deal with.

Yes, the OC would be the first to go, then work from there.

For one thing, we are running a spread offense when we do not have the personel to run.

We should be running the Veer option.

We need a new OC, but of course that will not happen until next year, I hope  !

There is more to talk about, but this enough.

I enjoyed watching SC's offense running the same offense as always and  it is effective. Only against teams like Bearden, who's Defense is less than average, for now. The SC denfense is

not much to talk about. If you like offense, offense, offense and little of anything else then Sevier is worth watching. As far as making it to or winning a state championship ?   NOT THIS YEAR !

Jefferson County !!   With over 2300 students they should have a very good team every year, but it is hard to get lazy kids to do much these days except play video games and sit in front of the TV.

Now this something I was told, I do not know for a fact that it is true.

It is my understanding that Horton was kicked off the team at Bearden.

Good points made above by magicman. There is only one problem. According to my sources, district 2 is hosted only by Chucky Doak or Greeneville. So all other teams in the district do not get the rotation advantage during regional games.

THATS SUCKS !!

I hope some day the Patriots can get back to going a lot deeper into the playoffs than they do now.

Just to clarify...Amber is the guard that got hurt. She had four steals down the stretch and made key free throws. I call that pretty big. Also, Grainger beat every AAA team they faced even travelling to White Co looking to be tested. Passed with flying colors. Little blonde Taylor Morgan still getting back into the mix from an ACL tear from the summer will be big now.
