Coach Mac makes the decisions, that is his job. With the way the guys were handling the ball tonight, NOTHING was automatic. Now as far as the kickers stats, so far this year he is 9 for 13 on PATs. Of the 4 misses, 3 were either blocked or deflected and the 4th never made it on to the kicking block. Yea that length kick everyone thinks should be 'automatic', until you add in factors like the pressure of it being your FIRST game deciding feild goal attempt (only 3rd FG attempt ever). Then as you are trying to calm your nerves for the attempt your team fumbles the ball with less than 2 minutes left. Just as you start to calm down thinking you aren't going to kick, your team gets the ball back and works it down to the 2-yard line with 5 seconds left. STILL want to say it should be 'automatic'?

We need to get everyone in the stands handheld air horns for when they don't let us bring the big one!

I hope somebody is gonna take the time from all the football excitement tonight to keep us parents that can't go updated on here... since it looks like listening to the game probably is NOT gonna happen. I think this should be a great game. Wish I could be there to root all our boys on.....especially MINE . GO WARRIORS!!!

Anyone know if there is a radio station that broadcast FCS's games on the internet? WTNW 820AM has been broadcasting Marion County all season, but for some reason they didn't broadcast the Trousdale game. I got lucky and found a station that was covering it for Trousdale last week. Unfortunately I have been stuck working Friday nights for the last few weeks and have had to settle on just listening to the games.

Every school varies on the parking. Marion Co. charges $2 but that is only for the parking lot right by the field and the proceeds go to the band and cheerleaders. Sequatchie Co. takes donations for the same groups. I was shocked at Hixon when they charged $4 as soon as you turned in to the school grounds and the only place to park was still quite a hike to the field. Not sure who got the money for them. The parking for the Hixon JV game was free but they charged a gate admittance for the JV game.

I think Marion County is gonna surprise a few people. They've been down the last couple of years, but those boys are on a roll and getting stronger every week.
