  1. Lets see if I remember everyone here from Page / District 12:

    3 - Damian Lockridge

    7 - Zack Mizell

    9 - Zack Weiland

    10 - Booker Leach

    33 - Jake Laster

    45 - Gatlin Jones

    46 - Joe Robertson ( D player of the year )

    64 - Aaron Clifton

    67 - Jared Roth

    81 - Taylor Wallace ( Academic )

  2. Maryville beats any team period. Alcoa,CAK MIGHT AS WELL. Funny thing is you forgot about columbia cen. And Giles co. Tonights games will tell us alot. Still stick to my east tn teams as im sure you will w your side of the tracks. East tn is a diff brand of football, and you folks will find that out soon enough

I said within 30 minutes of Nashville. I'd obviously include CC and Giles if not. I don't think Maryville would beat Ensworth but I will say they would beat the other teams listed more times than not. I'll stand on my side of the tracks as will you, but I can assure you that there hasn't and won't be any branding put on Giles tonight. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Giles fan - we've got a nice little district rivalry with em and we'll start preparing shortly for our game at the brickyard next year. With that being said, they are the best team in 4A this year and you will see it tonight

  3. Programs just within 30 miles of Nashville? Ensworth, Brentwood Academy, CPA, MBA, Beech, Hilsboro, Brentwood, Franklin (down year), Riverdale, Seagel, Smyrna.. I'm sure I'm forgetting some..

The only teams you listed that I would've added to my list are Maryville, CAK, Alcoa and Greeneville.

  4. lol didnt mean to disrespect u guys at all just trien to prove a point to these mid Tn boys

Prove a point to mid tenn boys? Please, do tell more. I'll take the top 10 mid tenn teams over any 10 teams from the east and west any day.. Come on now..

  5. We're playing Fayetville not Cheatham Cope.

Come get your revenge JUNO, this past year's coaching staff was together for 3 months before the season started and didn't even have an O coordinator until the week before Kenwood. Not to mention there wasn't much of an organized offseason - I think you'll be surprised with the program Page is establishing and I personally believe we'll play with every team on our schedule.

    Here's what I know:

    Week 0 - David Lipscomb

    Week 1 - Fayetville

    Week 2 - Giles

    Week 3 - Bye

    Week 4 - CPA

    Week 5 - Cascade

    Week 6 - Fairview

    Week 7 - Harpeth

    Week 8 - Summit

    Week 9 - Marshall Co

    Week 10 - Spring Hill

I'm not 100% sure if that's accurate by the week but that is the teams Page will play

  6. This is the test for Giles, here is where you guys get all of your opinions tested - the one that stands out to me is "best coaching staff in 4A".

Obviously last week your game was a little off and could've given up your season to a good EH team. Now if Giles's coaching staff is the best, I don't wish it upon anyone to play them this week. Great coaches don't allow great teams to make the same mistakes 2 weeks in a row.

If I were a gambling man I'd say the Brickyard will be rowdy Friday. Giles comes out in the first half looking like the 4A state champs. Fulton adjusts at half but not quite good enough.

    Giles 31

    Fulton 20

  7. I don't mean for my opinion to be biased, however I do see where it could look that way. The west does have some great football programs, it just seems they haven't "sealed the deal" in a while. Why will Covingtom not beat Giles? You can't run the ball 95% of the game on the best defense in 4A. Looking at your schedule I don't see an offense as dynamic as Giles either. If you end up playing Fulton you deal with the fastest team in 4A. I do wish the best to your program though..

  8. Don't take it so personally purpleandgold, just stating my personal opinion. It's my first year keeping up with high school ball since I played so as far as I'm concerned you can throw history out the door.. I literally live in the world of football: work in the nfl, don't miss an SEC game and obviously stay on top of Page Football. I firmly believe that the Giles team this year is on another level in 4A so I don't see Covington beating them. Teams like Lexington and Covington need to schedule some tough middle Tennessee competition during the season to prepare themselves for this point in the season..

  9. Covington would be in the round ball threads already if they were in quad 1 or 2. I would say Giles is a 21 point favorite and Fulton is not far behind that. This is Covington's year to make the trip to Cookeville, and join MountainTroll's loser's tailgate immediately following halftime.
