I'm just saying nobody on here even though Basin would be in the game and they almost came out with the W. I'm not saying give them the respect like SP has but respect the fact that they are a good football team and not a pushover.

Even though the Cougars lost, I believe they earned the respect they deserve. I think they will finish out 7-3 and hopefully make some noise in the playoffs

Yeah fans travel pretty well even though every away game is over a hour away. This one even farther.

It's gameday and I guess it's time to make a prediction. I don't really think either team will be able to stop each other. High scoring game unless it rains. 40-34 Basin. Go Cougars!

I feel the same is true with this Basin team. A few bad things happened and everyone just quit on the season. This year both teams are very confident and both think they will win this game. So it should be a good one.

They are much improved. Last year they had to replace so many people and only had three seniors. Pretty much no experience at all last year. So this year they only had to replace three people and have 10 seniors on the team with most starters having experience from last year.

The Basin RB is pretty speedy. Not the fastest ya'll have seen, but he is very quick and elusive.

The QB is pretty good. Reads the option very well and makes good decisions. Big physical runner as well.

Looks like this new coach knows what he is doing.

I have a question. How much has Marions defense improved? I watched this match up last year and Basin did what they wanted offensively. I have heard a lot about the MC offense but how is the D? Could this be a 42-35 type game? High scoring no defense?

I didn't say Basin is a perennial power. Neither is Marion though. However, both teams are doing good this year and should not be treated lightly.

I believe there has to be some respect for Copper Basin. Excluding last year, in 2009, 2010, and this year Copper Basin has been pretty good. 7-5, 10-2, now 6-1. No they don't have the best teams on their schedule,but they are getting the job done. I may be a little biased.

Probably two thirds of the rushing yards for Grave against Basin came from the QB

Basin hasn't seen an offense this good either. I didn't get to see the Silverdale game but I heard it was one of those games the players just came out flat not ready to play. Better not do that this week or it'll get ugly.
