The Maryville Skyhawks 5th grade girls basketball club will host the Maryville SkyHawks Spring Jam Friday March 15 through Sunday March 17. The tournament will take place at Maryville High School and Maryville Junior High gymnasiums. The tournament will be a four team pool play per division with a tournament to follow. Each team is guaranteed 4 games (if we fill the tourney) with a fifth game for teams that advance to the championship game. First and second place medals will be presented. Good for teams not playing in the state qualifier in Athens.
The team fee will be $200.00 and must be paid prior to March 10, 2012. Teams registering before March 3 will receive a $25.00 discount (total of $175.00 if registered and paid before March 3)
Each team will receive three tournament passes for thier coaches and stat personel. The admission price each day will be $7.00 for school age children and above. There will not be a weekend tournament pass.
Maryville High School and Maryville Junior High are located 5 minutes apart and each gym has plenty of parking. Each gym will have a fully stocked concession stand and TSSAA officials will call each game. There are several hotels and restaurants just minutes from each tournament location.
The deadline for entry is March 10, 2013. The grade levels are girls grades 5-9.
