  1. Of the teams moved, Huntingdon seems to have benefited the most. They should get in each of the next two years. I'd say the Huntingdon/Camden game will probably be for the region title in 07, although you are right that race will be tight. Those 3 should be the top 3 in that region.

i would not bet on just those two. the waverly/camden game in week 10 could turn out to be like the lewis county/camden game has been in the past few years.

  2. ok lets put the private/public school on another thread. lets get back to the realignment of regions. how does everyone feel that 6,7,&8, 2a are going to finish next year

    6-2a lewis,fairview, and hickman

7-2a waverly, camden, and huntingdon(not in order, this race will be very tight)

    8-2a milan,humboldt,and westview

  3. So you are saying people have no choice where they live? Look nothing is ever gonna be completely fair. You said yourself that people who can afford to go to private school can afford to pick up and move. So what is the difference between the two? One, noone cares about and the other everyone makes a big deal about. So my question is what is the difference between picking where you live based on the school you will attend and picking what school you attend. Sounds like a slippery slope to me.

rcombs, you cannot win this argument no matter how correct your argument is because plain and simple the private schools that are not in dII do not want to have to play against brentwood academy every year. if they stay in a region they don't have to face the other privates and they have a chance at winning. its basically the same as if they would allow public schools to drrop at least 2 classes. think about what camden, milan, huntiongdon, lewis could do if they were in 1-a. would goodpasture and cpa be as strong if they played in the playoffs against ba every year? i think not.

  4. you can get over it. i believe it is because of the talk that lc did that goodpasture wanted to make the game end like it did. the so called "onside kicks" were far from that, they were pooch kicks to keep the ball away from two very good return men because it got to the point were are kicker wasn't kicking it into the endzone and we didn't want them to touch the ball (also known as respecting their ability). one of the kicks was miss hit and only went 15 yards, sorry that happened but we teach our kids to be players and we they see the ball on the ground they are going to go for it, it's just how we play the game at goodpasture. Lewis County had a good season and a good team, don't let yourself say stupid things to make people on here forget your team for what it was and think of a bunch of whiners. to the true lc fans who have a good working brain - good game, good effort, and i wish you the best of luck in the rest of the sports this season and especially football next year.

did you not read my comments on how the weather favored the passing game last time. you should and then you should consider deleting your inaccurate comment.

it was a wet sloppy field, any moron knows that does not favor the passing game. they will stop the run this time and throw for at least 5 td's ending goodrecruiter, i mean goodpatures state chances

  5. FIRST OF ALL, I WILL TAKE NOTHING AWAY FROM CPA THEY HAVE A VERY GOOD TEAM. SECONDLY, WAVERLY MADE SOME BAD MISTAKES IN COVERAGE AND ON SPECIAL TEAMS THAT TURNED THE GAME. CAMDEN WILL NOT MAKE THOSE MISTAKES. THIS GAME WAS CLOSE AT HALF AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN EVEN CLOSER. YOU TAKE AWAY THE TWO DEEP TDS THAT WAVERLY GAVE UP BECAUSE THE DB QUIT MOVING HIS FEET WHEN HE WAS IN POSTION TO MAKE THE PLAY AND THE MISSED FIELD GOAL AND WAVERLY COULD HAVE POSSIBLY BEEN LEADING. SECOND HALF, WAVERLY PUT THE BALL ON THE GROUND WAY TO MUCH. ONE TIME THE REFS NEVER THREW A BEANBAG INDICATING A FUMBLE BUT LET THE PLAY CONTINUE WITH CPA GOING THE OTHER WAY. CAMDEN WILL NOT MAKE THESE MISTAKES. CAMDEN GOVE THEM NOTHING DEEP AND MAKE THEM THROW UNDER AND THEY ARE EASILY BEATABLE. GOOD LUCK LIONS.

    CAMDEN-35

    DCA-24

P.S.- WAVERLY WILL BE BACK AND THEY WANT YOU CPA.

  6. Not to be rude but this is the first week of the playoffs and we are talking about punters/kickers. C'mon guys lets make the topics interesting.

NOT TO BE RUDE, BUT IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE POST DON'T MAKE A COMMENT. WHO IS THE KID FROM WEST TENNESSEE EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT? I THINK HIS LAST NAME IS ADAMOPOLOUS OR SOMETHING OF THAT NATURE.

  7. In the past 40 years, I'd say football has been about 60% Camden and 40% Waverly. In all other sports Waverly has a larger winning percentage of around 70% over the Lions. This is not exact but is pretty close. I will work on it and come up with an exact number on football.

    JUST WONDERING?

SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT WAVERLY PRETTY MUCH OWNED THE 80'S AND FIRST PART OF 90'S. DID NOT KNOW WHAT THE RECORD WAS BEFORE THIS TIME OR AFTER.

  8. :thumb::D This will be a laugher. The game will be close til kickoff. As for LARGEANDINCHARGE,Iknow who you are.You graduated from Dickson High. You are currently a coach at Waverly. You are the infamous Dale Neblett. My parents have played golf with you at the country club.

    OH YEAH!

GLAD TO SEE THAT PEOPLE THINK THEY KNOW EVERYTHING. HAVE MET COACH NEBLETT, NICE GUY BUT YU ARE WAY OFF BASE. THANKS FOR THE LAUGH. JUST WOKE UP FROM THE NIGHT SHIFT TO CHECK THE T. GREAT WAY TO GET MY DAY STARTED. GOLF? RATHER GO COW-TIPPING IN A PASTURE THAN HIT A LITTLE WHITE BALL. GO TIGERS!

  9. ok everyone keeps bringin up past games...that is nonsense because none of them are the same..against aville havin blue woulda knockd out a lota fumbles...against lewis a better blockin job by tha line woulda done us good and gottin us a score or 2...we were inside the 5 twice....lewis was the same against us ....and the 2 times they were were because of our turnovers....this game is goina be as hard hittin as they come...if u could hear the players and everyone else from here u know this is goina be a good game...waverly will come in friday night ready to win...remember camden, we have bn makin many 1sts in a long time...like homecomin win last year, bowl game last year playoff this year...and also this year will be 1st time to beat camden in a long time...so go ahead and mark it down in ur lil black books...waverly 17...camden 14...and yes camden's starters will be playing the whole game....our jv did great against ya the other night and only lost by 1 n the 4th quarter so i know the 1s who playd that game will be wantin the revenge so theyll be even more into the game....GO TIGERS!

YOUR CLUELESS. THE JV PLAYED MONKEY CENTRAL. ALSO I HAVE TALKED TO THE COACHES AND EVERYONE OF THEM HAVE ASSURED ME THEY DID NOT SAY SOME OF THE THINGS YOU HAVE QUOTED THEM AS SAYING.

  10. Why doesn't someone ask Robert Sharp why his felines refuse to engage Fairview?

This region is worse than any Little Orphan Annie League I have ever seen. If Camden and Louis County played in our region, they wouldn't make the playoffs!

If Waverly was in our region..... dead last!!

YOU ARE A FREAKING MORON. YOU WOULD FINISH FOURTH IN 6-2A BEHIND LEWIS,CAMDEN, AND WAVERLY. YOU MAY COULD BEAT WAVERLY BUT I DOUBT IT. AND IF PARSONS WAS AT ITS USUAL YOU COULDN'T BEAT THEM EITHER. YOU BEAT WAVERLY LAST YEAR AND THAT WAS LAST YEAR. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE THIS YEAR?

  11. I know of three Freshmen from Waverly getting playing time...considerable playing time. And the whole line basically, is Sr's and Jr's. The QB is a Jr. The backfield is all SR's. The WR Core..JR..SO..FR..FR. DB's JR FR FR...

the line is all jr and soph, no seniors.

as for this thread lets keep it to wavo and lc.

who cares what hickman does that is the past
