I was there and can certainly understand Mt. Juliet fans being upset. The kid clearly beat the throw but from my angle it looked to me like he was behind the bag and not touching it when tag applied. Field ump should have had best view. Who knows. I missed the moon thank goodness!

It would appear that mlreb is going to have to take over recroottin. No way he lets a two sport stud end up across town.Looking forward to seeing this player on the diamond and football field. Alcoa baseball will be young, strong freshman class last season and this seasons freshman class is loaded also. Will be some growing pains this year but could really develop into a great couple of years of baseball.

Refs wanted tv time bad. Over the top with the penalties. Called every little hand in the back and then miss calls like knee down on fumble, catch out of bounds etc. I believe the better team won. Congrats to both teams on a great year!

Congrats to the best coach maryville will ever have. This young man had a gauntlet of a schedule dropped on him and came thru in flying colors. To do what he has done this year with what this team lost from last year is truly amazing. He will win as much as he chooses to breaking all records at maryville and in the the state if he wants. A true class act and all around fine person. Congrats Coach Hunt MARYVILLE'S GOAT!!!!!
