I totally agree. People love to complain when programs are winning. I get tired of people saying Mitchell should play up because we are a big 1A school. We play where we are assigned. As for CPA if anyone should complain about them winning it should be me. They ended our season 2 years in a row with sound whippings. I said great job and we must work to get better. I did not complain that they are private playing public. Too many cry babies on here.

Galilee that's what great coaches do shake hand and learn from there loss. I agree Mitchell took beating from CPA over the last 3 or 4 season and they went and got better from it not once did I here CPA cheating or recruiting players or should be playing in d2. Just because you have potential D1 players Dnt mean anything you still have to coach ask White Station, who have had more talent then ws over the yrs

It's a lot of jealousy among schools I see, CPA win all the time and folks hate!! Instead of downing the next program, get with them or go get players!! Simple really!! If someone is good, they old as heck, if you winning, you cheating, it's always a reason why the other team is better than yours and usually it's negative. It's a lot of jealousy in the state of TN and to me that's a female trait. CPA gotta good team, give them they cred, Maddux one of the best coaches in the state.

I think Blackwell is the best player in the state. I would hate to see Campbell in middle school

Im sitting here eating crow!..Oak Hill aint worth a dime!!.....The Lawson boys are better than last year for sure but Oak Hill has NO DEFENSE at all..They pitiful.

lol..G.C you funny!..Lets just say I do know a little about this game..I been around a while..I mostly tell facts on here but like ive said before..You cant see what you dont want to see..The Lawson boys are good players but for there size they should be better..I still say UC could beat them at home but like TCA Intense said last year..Its a diffrent animal when u play down in Memphis..Ive been their and done that some years ago..Ive got one question for anybody that can answer it?...Who ranks these kids in America today??..Its a joke!..I might agree with the top 5 and thats it for me...What are you gonna say if UC beats that team out of New Jersey coached by Never Nervous Pervis Ellison that play all national ranked teams around in America? They just got lucky??..Well call me crazy but if UC comes to play like they know how they will win that game Saturday in Kentucky. .Remember folks IT ALL ABOUT THE HYPE!

I have to agree with GC. Middleton played tough against UC last year in UC in the substate. Had they played in Middleton the game could easily have gone the other way and Middleton could be trying to repeat. Given that and that they return EVERYONE, they bring home the gold ball.

Don't forget as 4 sophomores and 1 freshmen they played UC close 2013 the year before 2012 that and as 4 freshmen and 1 8th grader they lost a close game at LC

Southern Lab form Baton Rouge came in undefeated at the Next Level shootout in Nashville at CPA.. They were 6-8, 6-8 6-6 6-3 and 6-3, in oter words hugeeeeee!!!!. Our guards palyed well along with 6-6 Mike Fofona. L. Hunt scored on a put back at the buzzer. Next up is power house Ballard out of Louisvill, Ky.

You are almost correct. In Nashville, you have to have x amount of minorities and that is how they recruit players. If you see a true academic magnet school, they are usually not very good. This is how a Liberty Tech can win a state championship in such a short time. Magnet schools should have to play at the AAA level because of this advantage.[/quote

When Union City plays Humboldt, Union City will win both games by 25 points or more both times. NO ONE in western Tennessee outside of Memphis can Beat Union City in any class, A, AA or AAA. Union City is at least a week away from being 100% full speed. When the Stewart kid starts playing, just another weapon to add. Union City will compete for another GOLD Basketball.

Deberry from what i hear is in hot pursuit from UT-Martin, SEMO, Tennessee State and the other OVC's. Is that his level??? OVC, Sun Belt, C-USA??? 6"6 guard who can put it on the floor and shoot it. Kinda reminds me of Barry Stewart, who came from Shelbyville.

Barry Stewart was a great ball player and had a great career at MSU

Good team with a bunch of returning players. I know the Johnson kid is out with a knee injury. Smith and Marshall are talented players for sure. Along with Jackson SS they should be the favorite in District 14AA. I see another sectional bid coming for this team and hopefully they can take the next step.

Don't sleep on Fayette-ware if the big kid ever get in shape they will be tough to beat.

I hope so because last year 16A dominated the region.
