I agree with you! It is uncalled for! On both sides! Kids are gonna run that mouth but when it turns to dirty playing I'm out! He is gonna be ok. Just bruised up. Thought it was his spline. It happened on a kick return in the third. He tried to stay in but when he picked up the fumble and started sprinting he couldn't catch his breath. I will say this Marion County is a well oiled machine. Tough bunch of kids. Honestly I hope y'all win it all.

But they were punching in the gut ,right?! Because that's why I was in the ER this morning till 2. I have never taught my son to be mouthy on the field or to play dirty! And if I caught him I'd jerk him off the field and chew him out. And maybe your classy coach can come pay the doctor bill I will be paying since he is teaching lessons on class! So does kids that are ejected not have to leave the field completely! Thought you had to go to the locker room. Just asking?

Yes they were for 3 quarters but not the whole game Forrest played like crap. The team that came out after the half is the one I've watched all year!

I'm not sure what in the world is going on with Forrest. At times They are playing like they have mono or something. Should have beat Jackson County by 30. And the Tynergame shouldn't have been close. If the team that played Watertown and Page shows up Friday night then Meigs will have their hands full. Then the Forrest team I have watched for the first 7-8 games will move on to the 3rd round. If not they will make just another second round appearance! You can't back off because you get ahead a little!! Never back off till the clock says 00.00 in the 4th!!

Forrest played the worst game I've seen them play all year.At all aspects of the game. They showed up in the 3rd with what I've seen all yr but that was it. Had a drive going in the 4th for the win but a JC interception ended that. I was worried about them overlooking Jackson county all week. Jackson county came out and got the job done. Congrats to them. #2 is a ball player. He can sling that ball. Hopefully this lit a fire under the boys and they get it done the next game. They would love to meet back up with JC again.

So how does this play out if Jackson County wins? I think Forrest wins this game by 14-21 points but everyone has off nights. My thinking is Forrest wins the region win or lose unless Westy knocks off Watertown. Which I think Watertown wins big.

Best thing about that game is it's over. Got some banged up players that have a bye week to get better. The good thing is Jackson County plays Eagleville at Eagleville Friday night! The stands will have several Forrest players in them this Friday.

The boys need to stay focused. One game at a time. This team has a lot of Heart! Anytime you walk on that field you can get beat. Even though the score didn't show it East Robertson gave us fits last yr.

Agree but it depends on the coaches. Good coaches that teaches fundamentals and understand it all about the program will help the kids succeed. Know it all coaches that never played a lick and only know what they watch on tv can kill a program. I didn't let my boys play till they were in the sixth grade. I knew the coaches and was fortunate enough to help. One of my boys didn't like it and I was fine with it. the other loved it. Since then he has started all but one yr and is now in his senior season. I really think starting them to young will burn them out, that's why I didn't let them play at 4.

My personal belief is do not play tackle until middle school. I know I will be in the minority with this but I see more negatives from playing too soon than positives.

Forrest upset a good BGA around 92-93 in a first round playoff game. The next yr we played them again and the score was left up on the score board. We didn't win that one. The only yr I know of Forrest playing BA was around 1986 in what we thought was a scrimmage until we got there! The field was painted and a full squad of refs on the field. It wasn't pretty!! Forrest also made a second round playoff run in 88 after beating Collinwood in the first round. They lost to Moore Co. in the second.

I agree Ameri! Don't take this bunch for granted! Just heard that their bleachers will only accommodate 100 people! Band will take that up! If that's the case they should come to the Rock!

Haha Rover! Yes you know it was! He had a great game on both sides! He sure was proud coming off the field Friday night. Been wanting that one!

#18 did have two interceptions! Played a great game! #21 rushed for 108 yds and #25 had 79 Yds. The line really stepped up Friday night! Really proud of those kids! They really wanted that game!

Have no time for your nonsense mailman! I never make excuses but after watching the film this morning some calls were mighty suspicious! Especially after a kid gets 40 yds down the field and a flag flys out at the line of scrimmage when they see he is scoring! Plenty of flags could have been throwed against Westmoreland but weren't. But it doesn't matter now. We won! Great game to watch! Good luck to the Westmoreland kids! Hope they have a great rest of the yr!

If forrest held like they did last night all year last year there's no wonder they had a good year. Once the refs stopped the holding early on, the game looked much different.

There were two touchdowns called back and a long run to the 15 called back before half. There were more penalties called on Forrest the first half than all of last year. Every time it seemed we made a play the flags came out. The game got ugly at times. Alot of mouthing going on from both sides. Hats off to Westmoreland. It was a very intense game. Great game to watch.

Forrest had more penalties tonight in one game than the last two years. Two touchdowns and a big run all called back on holding calls all before half. Should have been 21-0 at half. Just couldn't get it together. Gonna have to step it up. Several turnovers tonight that shouldn't happen. A win is a win but it was ugly!

Forrest and Huntland probably goes back to the 1930s! Not sure of the exact date. A long time rivalry!

Forrest 35-0! Started slow in the first quarter but was no stopping a Forrest after that. Second and third string came in after the first offensive series in the third!

Stay Humble! Cocky will get you beat!!! Rockets are ready! A lot of focus right now! Murray Holton will be watching. Does anyone know how long Forrest and Huntland have been playing each other?
