  1. Loudon and Kingston just don't have the numbers or athletes they used to have. Both towns are both about the same size they were in the 70's. In the 70's Loudon and Kingston were about the same size as Maryville. Blount Co. and Knox CO. have really grown but Loudon and Kingston haven't. They are both smaller and lose good players to the privates it makes it hard for them to compete.

  2. This is coach Satterfield. The only thing coach Ryan texted me was that he was not returning to SQHS.

NO I do not plan on going anywhere. I can assure you that the offense will be in good hands. And coach Ryan is not the only person helping the seniors or that has a lot of contacts.

I do not plan on continuing this post. I haven't done this in years and this is it. I do have an assistant coach however that is in to this coacht stuff.

I wonder if that is really coach satterfield. If it is I wonder why he is so touchy.LOL

  3. Loudon ran away from 4AA and the Tornadoes. During a preseason scheduling meeting, the hhead coach practically guareeteed the Redskins would run the table in 5aa and finally win a District Championship. Forward to week 10. Polk wins championship and Redskins finish 0 and 4.

Loudon's AD said that Loudon athletics would save over 6000 dollars by leaving a region that included trips to Scott Co. and Stone Memorial. Not playing Alcoa is just a bonus I guess.LOL

That doesn't sound much like Coach Harig making a gurantee like that.Especially with a team that just lost 17 seniors.

Also I find it funny you say Loudon ran away from Alcoa but I notice Central didn't reschedule Alcoa.LOL

  4. Painted bridge I was told by Loudon's AD that by changing regions Loudon's athletic program will save over 6000 dollars in travel expense. Not having to play Alcoa was just a bonus.LOL

Insider Jacket for such an undisciplined and poorly coached team they beat Kingston pretty handily.

To be honest Loudon is down this year and have had a bunch of injuries to deal with. They will be much better in the near future.

  5. Charlie is looking forward to seeing how this one turns out. It's hard for me to believe a few players being out has this much impact on a team. Both teams really need this to keep the playoff hopes alive.

With that said, I'm not buying, I'll take McCentral.

Interested to see how this one goes too Charlie. Loudon had more than a few players out.A couple of games they had 7 starters out. We'll see if it makes a difference tonight.

  6. I don't like under .500 teams making the playoffs in any sport, but it is what it is. I'll pull for the Chargers in this one. Hard to beat Loudon at home......I'll leave it at that, Go Chargers!

Funny you say tough to win at Loudon and its obvious what you imply…..they use the Monroe County Assc.

  7. I didn't say that I was convinced every team was going to have to score 30 + plus points to beat the govs, I said loudon would have to and I don't see them doing that. Especially since someone above said they only beat tellico 21-7 in a scrimmage. If that's true then we can be pretty darn confident that wb will beat them handily. Tellico is usually a

bottom of the barrell 1A team. As for the rest of the schedule I think wb will be fine and they will get a lot better as the season progresses. If they can control the line of scrimmage better on both sides of the ball they will be golden.

Loudon was up on Tellico 21-7 after two ten minute qtrs.Loudon only had 4 possessions in that small amount of time. They played jv and freshmen the rest of the time.
