Anybody that's cognizant of the demographic situation in Ooltewah it should be pretty obvious that they recruit (call it what you will). When half your team is African American and the town has 1% black population something isn't adding up there.

I will still go with Tajion but Tee Higgins is finally rounding into basketball shape. I sure hope Oak Ridge makes it to state so everybody can get to see him play. It is pure joy.

Tee had 20 points 19 boards against Karns. Imagine if that guy put 100% towards basketball how good he'd be? He never has and look.

I laugh at the comments that people start anticipating Gary Rankin to express interest in the Maryville position and create a domino effect. The real fallout here is "how many current Maryville starters will be playing at Alcoa high school next year?" after seeing how it paid off for Colton Wright this past season. I would be amazed if that answer is 0.

Two years in a row Maryville didn't win the championship? I tried telling all you Maryville fans that something was going on in Rutherford County and the changing of the guard may be upon you. You'll always have your history to fall back on. Just don't hang Quarles, there's none better but times change.

Ty we all know you have a sweet spot for Kevin. Please don't embarass yourself anymore. Oakland has a good team this year, but they still haven't gotten a gold ball yet since the reclassification. Maybe they beat Whitehaven, maybe not.
