Yes, that is Mason Manvilles younger brother.Hicks will be wrestling Carson Manville a 7th grader for 3rd place. Is this the younger brother of Mason Manville?
-
Tj Hicks will be wrestling for 3rd. Lost a nail biter in the semis. Pinned a Clovis California wrestler in the consi semis.
Knox Fuller for 5th. Lost in over time in the consi semis. Took out a super tough Georgia kid in the consis also.
Sammy Evans for 5th. Wrestled back from a first round lost and pinned the kid that beat him. Dropped in the consi semis to the Pennsylvania state champ that won super 32, 5-3.

Tj Hicks is our first ever medalist as he is in the semis. He took out the 2nd and 7th seeds on his journey.
Knox Fuller made the quarters and lost. He is in the blood round.
Sammy Evans is in the blood round. He was the fourth seed and got upset first round and is running back through the consolations.
Eli King went 1-2.

Can you post lineups?
-
Killian did not win D2. I would also put Luke Mullin over Eason. Boykin has never faired well against Evans. The last time they were in a bracket together Evans placed third and Boykin placed seventh. My team would beCan't take nothing away from them. Best 132 pounders in our area. They could help, but if we could have an all star team to rep Tennessee, this is what I'd like to have lol.
106- killian FR
113- Hicks BC
120- McElhaney BC
126- Eason FR
132- Simpson FR
138- King FR
145- Murphy Baylor
152- Beyer BC
160- Duhm McCallie
170- Linton Wilson
182- Wimper Baylor
195- Parker Baylor
220- Stacy FR
Hvy- Boykin Riverdale
Now that'd be an all star line up! Lol
Wheaton
Hicks
Chalifoux
Mullin
Simpson
King
Murphy
Heyward
Russo
Linton
Whimper
Parker
Stacey
Evans

I am biased towards D1 but this is taking it to another level. Eli King did not wrestle at the Bradley Invitational. Wrestling is all about match ups. McElhaney did pin Eason but that does not mean Hernandez would.120 Ryan McElhaney has pinned the 126 D2 state champ some I'm sure Juan could. 138 Knox fuller won the Bradley tournament when Eli king was there so he either beat him or beat a kid that beat him. 170 no one is beating Linton 182 Ripley wouldn't lose

Sammy Evans of Alcoa did it this year, while beating the number 13 wrestler in the nation. I believe Ryan Parker of Baylor also did the same. The decision by the Smyrna COACH was a selfish act that achieved nothing, gained nothing, and did nothing to improve the possibilities for his wrestler (don't think he won another match afterwards?) A bad situation for both wrestlers involved.
And No it was not a win over Russo.
The only thing this very poor decision accomplished was preventing a young man from potentially completing a historic season (undefeated and not allowing an offensive point) as well as eliminating the opportunity for one of the other athletes to legitimately end Russo's run.
Truly a sad situation and a very poor display of judgement and character!!!
Has a Tennessee wrestler ever completed an undefeated season without giving up an offensive point?

1. Debien
2. Solomon
3. Sean Kennedy
4. Navarro
5. Evans
6. Krammer
7. Fuller
8. Luke Hamilton
9. Cyree
10. Russo
Debien, Kennedy, Evans, and Krammer are the only ones who have been ranked in flos top 20.
-
He was our only Fargo aa this year. I would say he's up there
-
With two of ourbest poud for pound best wrestler rehabing torn acls. Will Debien and Evans struggle to capture their fourth and second state titles after coming back from torn acls?
-
Solomon has committed to UTC. I don't even think Krammer is the best 220 in the state. Sammy Evans tore his acl at Fargo and lil be out until state duals if not all season. I would with Solomon being the best healthy wrestler in the state.
-
I think Sammy Evans could have one it. He has beaten one of the finalists. This has been the worst year we've had in injuries. Chris Debien, Michael Murphy and Evans are probably our best shots at Fargo.
-
Yesterday it looks like Evans went down with a bad knee injury. I'm hoping he's healthy for freeystyle. In my opinion he's our best shot at a stop sign.
-
Sammy Evans is in the semis. He has been on a collision course. Drew Nichilson is in the blood round.
-
I have no idea who is going but I have nothing g better to do than precision gore our top performers. I was able to watch the guys live on flo at the duals.
Cadet
Trey Challifeaux : He AA last year and I wouldn't expect anything less this year. He had a great cadet duals going 6-1.His lone loss he was dominating the match and was caught. I expect him too be in the 4-1 range.
Knox Fuller : Had a decent cadet duals trip. I see him winning a couple but falling short if a medal.
Eli King : Seems kind of new to freeystyle but he can wrestle in any style. Had a 5-2 cadet duals. I can see him in the 8-6 range if he gets a good draw and his weight isn't an issue.
Sammy Evans: He didn't do well at all at Fargo last year.
He has been on fire at the duals. He hasn't lost a freeystyle match at cadet or junior duals. He was a combined 11-3 in Greco at the duals with two losses at juniors. He knocked off the Fargo fourth place in freeystyle at cadet duals also. He just broke into the national rankings. In freeystyle I see him in the 3-1 range. In Greco I see him falling anywhere in the top 8.
Nick Boykin: New to freeystyle and Greco. Had a bad tournament at junior duals in both styles. Had an Undefeated tournament in Greco at cadet duals and a 6-1 freeystyle tournament. Most of his matches can go either way because he throws so much. I don't see him placing in freeystyle. 8-5 in Greco.
Junior
Toribio Navvararo : He looked pretty sharp at junior duals. He lost an 8-4 match to the best cadet 113 in the nation in Greco. Also lost to the runner up from last year in Greco 2-1. One loss in freeystyle came to Illinois. I don't exactly know we're to predict him. I expect him to do better in Greco than freeystyle. He had some injuries with his shoulder at the duals. I'm hoping that's better.
Michael Murphy : 3 Fargo Aas in the past two years. Now he's up higher in weight. He looked pretty good at junior duals. He sustained an elbow injury in his first Greco match. I see him placing in freeystyle but I'm weary to say if he does or not in Greco.
James westbrooks: looked dynamite at the duals in both styles but I don't know if he's on the level to place or not yet.
Kyle Lee: looked decent at the duals. Not on Fargo level yet. I'm glad he's competing.
Luke Hamilton: Looked great at some points during the duals but looked bad at other times. Really hot and cold.
Cale Shelton : Looked great in Greco. Didn't look to good in freeystyle. I could see him place 8-6 in Greco.

Sean Kennedy and Sammy Evans are also ranked as individuals.

He is having a great summer. I'm really hoping he does well at Fargo.
-
Evans Undefeated in freeystyle at cadet and junior duals. We may see something special at Fargo.
-
The kid Evans beat took 4th at Fargo last year. Washington had two stud upper weights. Really hope someone got video of Sammys upset and Boykins match

Can someone post the roster?
-
Which gibbs kid?
-
I have heard Chad and Sammy have been training together and are becoming great friends. I'm hoping they both end up at UTC.
-
That's great. I'm glad Coach Eslinger grabbed one of blount counties best. Hopefully he gets an early start and grabs Alcoas Sammy Evans in a couple of years. Those two are defiantly two of the best too come out of our area.
-
They gave the raiders a close match this year on two occasions. This year or the next Bradley is back on top until the class of 17 leaves. Coach smith and company are doing a fine job with da bears.
