Hey buddy I like the enthusiasm. Just to let you know you will be starting at ground zero. Two years ago was Central's best chance at winning they've had in a long time. The defensive guy that has also applied strong armed the HC in putting every single athlete on the team on defense and not letting any of them to play offense. Central couldn't score against a middle school team. But it made him look good!

Central has athletes that don't know a lick of football. Just didn't have a QB this year. Stud tailback moved to Florida, next best went to red bank.

If GB keeps his teaching job, I see whoever gets the job not being able to bring in anybody with him. Unless it's a volunteer coach or none teaching coach

Finley and his staff have a huge task set before them. Not one that I would enjoy having. Wouldn't shock me to see GB with another law suit. Happened once wouldn't shock me if it happens again.

If parents are seeking a better football situation, volleyball situation, baseball situation, softball situation etc. Why do the coaches need to come and "talk" to them about hardship opportunities to come to ooltewah. Yes I know our coaching situation hasn't been ideal but what coach wants to fight the battle of losing their best athletes right off the bat. Hunter middle won't even let central football coach come and talk to our zoned 8th grade athletes. FACT! And before you ask, yes ooltewah coach gets to come! To my understanding of the tssaa ruling on hardship is if a student gets a hardship and is out of zone of that school that student can only attend that school for educational purposes only,not athletics! As much as you want to sugar coat it, recruiting of 8th graders goes on at hunter middle by middle school coaches, school secretaries, and yes high school coaches! Same thing that happened at Bradley and its illegal

Good news on the pounder front, Bradley county has taken a hard hit on coach recruiting ms kids. So ooltewah has to be next in line for recruiting ms kids zoned for central. And yes telling kids they can go to ooltewah if they go to central office and get hardship papers is recruiting whether you do it yourself or get the middle school secretary office lady (whatever her role is? Ooltewah official recruiter?) to do it for you! And it's not just football either! Volleyball coach is pretty hard core at recruiting also! Middle school baseball coaches push their kids to ooltewah no need for hs coaches to do it. Still recruiting!

You two need to make your own thread! As for my question that no one answered, I've heard tiller has a concussion and may be out for a while is there any truth to this? I hope not that will hurt us I think

Has anyone heard how tiller is doing? Heard he got hurt at the bball game. If you've not seen these kids play you should go watch. Pretty good this year!

He gone boys, if not braswell will be running the show behind closed curtains! Braswell trying to beg him to stay is just my opinion on why it's taking so long.

I would agree with everything said but one thing I honestly don't think carter was given a chance to coach, not a hundred percent positive the boys I talked to all year said mallory did offense and braswell did def no body else had a say. This was the weakest our district has been in 10 yrs and central had the talent to win it no doubt

Yes I've heard this also, but who knows if he does leave they will just hand it over to braswell. And on scouts defense QBs make bad decisions when they are running for their lives, once again falls on mallory for not having some brass and taking some players from the defense to helps. Next year the o line may be better by sheer experience but 5 of the 6 were jv players at best this year. Nothing against them I feel that they did all they could they were just to young and weak to play 4a football this year. Everybody with a common sense football mind knows this.

Hellcat, you are now my best friend! I said all this stuff early in the year and got roasted for being a central hater! Everything you say is true and if someone says anything different then they are just trying to keep graces with the coaching staff so they can continue going in the lockeroom and sitting around like they they are apart of the staff!

Kids have done well, but who didn't expect them to do good this year? We are graduating 20+ seniors! REALLY! This was our year to do something. We are losing pretty much everything but funk! Losing size, speed, Leadership, kicking game! Unbelievable your thinking. Call me negative call me whatever but I need a pair of your rosé colored glasses. Last year central turned the corner should've won more this year. I'm upset and I'm not satisfied with this year. If your a central fan you shouldn't be either! I guarantee the kids aren't! I'm tired of this we will get em next year, this was that year! Period!
