Atmosphere was great

Game was great guys, offense, defense, and kicking game. Only negative I saw was the psycho guy in the stands. WOW
-
At the start of the season I posted a few posts, I'll let you guys know why I quit. Some, not all, get on here and show their complete ignorance. I don't want to be a part of that. I can be a pounder for life without being a part of this. The crazy thing is, after sitting in the stands every Friday I can almost for certain name each and everyone of you. And I a lot of the stuff you post on here about yourselves are complete lies. I'll let you guys figure out who I'm talking about. Guilty dog barks first! Happy hating, cause that's all most of you do on here.

I think the atmosphere will be awesome Friday night. I like the underdog card. Heck we got to prove ourselves to get respect.

Snapping issue, dropped passes, defense looked good. Proud of the purple! Fix these issues

I don't understand why Meigs chose to go to the Knoxville district with Grace Christian (probably best team in the state in 2a playoffs this year and seems to be re-loading every year and poised to be a long-time powerhouse). Rockwood is always good as well. In the Chattanooga district, Boyd is a perennial powerhouse, but besides them there is a big drop-off historically. Silverdale was a top 10 team last year and should be this year as well, but they are very senior laden this year, so there should be a big drop off next year for SBA. Meigs would at least have a good shot at 2nd place (and the automatic playoff birth) just about every year after this year, while they probably don't have a chance in the Knoxville district unless something drastic happens. Just my 2 cents...
Football fan, what are you talking about? Meigs doesn't chose where they go, tssaa determines that. You think they would chose that district. Wow

I'm headed over the mountain tomorrow. Hope the Pounder fans travel well! I'll be the one in purple. Revive the Pride! PFL

Chatt central was missing their starting tailback and starting wide out at our last scrimmage. Some of the players said they would not play on Friday either.

What was the score?

Hardships are for academics not sports.

I agree believe me but signal mtn should be the least of centrals worries when ooltewah is stealing kids right out of our middle schools.

The truth is until someone at central office quits signing these papers for stupid reasons it will always exist
-
That argument is getting old. Every school in Hamilton co has athletes from out of zone. Blame the great "hardship papers" The real argument is when there are coaches recruiting these athletes to go get these papers signed. Very illegal.

This may be a silly question but every 10 seconds seems unbelievable. 10 seconds from the ball being snapped or 10 seconds from the ball being set by the ref? Either way that's quick
-
Sweet. One of the players told me they played six games and won all six.

Info? Info? Info? What happened yesterday?
-
I heard that there were several teams down there today. Not sure who. I do know that ooltewah, walker valley, heritage Christian, Murray. Was told there were 12 to 15 teams there. Should be good work.

Big throwing day tomorrow in Georgia. Go get em guys

How are the 7 on 7 going?

Your source must not be too close to the program. Cook will be the o coordinator this season, carter and Dunn will be helping him. Allen and eller will be handling the defensive side of the ball. All the players I have talked too are loving what's going on right now with the program.
-
Update from a source close to the program that wished to remain unnamed: Carter is still O Coord and Allen has vowed to let him have control this year. We shall see! WE are running the spread and all Qb's have picked it up well. O line is still a huge concern and several sophs will be playing varsity to try to fill voids should one of the starters go down. Eller is the offensive line coach, and advisor at all other positions. O line has already showed huge improvement just in the new summer workout program. Specifically mentioned feet quickness.
Another huge freshman class and the team is at right around 90 players.
McMinn Central vs. Chatt. Central
