Sneed? That's not what I think. Sneed is fine. Hard to hit the hole when the opposing team's DL is hitting you as soon as you get the hand off. Also, what's up with the OL getting all of these illegal man down field calls? We had 3 TDs called back in the prior game and one I remember was because of that.
sneed needs to more than his usual. he needs at least 2 TDs and 200yds...at the least...he is a good back but this game I need him to be great to move on....dude this last game officials were just terrible...periodt!!! pare is awesome and our D is gonna have to work to contain him. but we need our RB to step up and best him Friday night!!

2 things!!! the real major wright showed up and obviously that officiating crew that they were auditioning for the Brian banks movie that was filmed at the Haven...the were puttin on a real show!!
-
Houston defense is suspect. they give up alot of points. we dont!! Xfactor in this game will be if sneed comes to play!!

It's terrible that NO ONE wants to talk a little trash on behalf of "The High School" bka as Central aka Memphis Central, in Track and Field.
now the boys Track team is the best in the state. they have won like 3 state titles on a row. they hard to beat in track
-
waiting for the hammer to fall over there
-
it wont be like senior night that's for sure!!! no one is sitting out...they will know early what its gonna be
-
it's gonna be really hard to leave Da Haven win a Playoff win!!!!
-
you give up 45pts points that's not a good look.

At halftime the score was 3-0...
Ya'll still saying the offense is back right?
Currently 10-0 in the 3rd
calm down my brother!!! the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd string RBs were all on punishment. the Freshman played most of the game and made Freshman mistakes. but as you saw, we were never in trouble because that D bought that good oak wood to the fire!!! then those refs was dropping them flags like Halloween candy!! and still pitched a shutout and now it's full steam ahead!!

Just from what I've seen. During the course of the season the QB's percentage has been hovering around 50ish. However, he's spread the ball around to several different receivers, and not to a few. #9, #19, and #80 are the main guys, but he has #3, #14, and #87 as well. No to mention we can throw it to #11 on screens.
However, we've also been developing some alternatives at RB as well. #22, the sophomore, who is the future, is a viable option to #11. He is getting more and more carries, and not during clean-up time, but when the actual bullets are flying. Also, little #32, who is a scatback with tremendous speed, is getting carries during games as an option. We aren't weraing out #11.
The OL is coming into form along with viable subbing options. The OC has about7-8 reliable OL options he can now use, and not just the 5 starters. He can rotate fresh OL in and out without losing consistency. It has taken a while to get to this point, but they are starting to peak and jell. It's good to see the OL on the same page as a unit. You can see light bulbs going off with those guys.
Like I said ... one game at a time.
#22 is a Freshman. #32 is the sophomore

What makes you say that?
because the last game was the first time the starters have all been healthy and back playing together!! that last bye week was what the doctor ordered. that's why the run game looked a whole lot better!!!!

central has a system coach that doesn't use his talent like he should so this could very well be another Krispy Kreme kinda night

Well, that's a good question. I would think that since Humes Prep is part of the Frayser Community Schools that feed MLK Prep ... (see link) then any cream of the crop student athletes may very well end up in a private school or another school with a better football program then MLK.
most of humes kids will go to Manassas!! some may go to Douglas. humes is in north Memphis not Frayser. the next closest HS to them would be BTW.

no they took him out because they started taking cheap shots and they didn't want him hurt
-
if by chippy you mean playing dirty then that's exactly what they were doing. they have nothing else to lose. you gettin smashed up and down the field so what the hey!!! so they pulled all the 3 headed monsters out plus some other key guys that didn't need to be in there. Gtown been getting beat up by Da Haven all week. from the Middle school team on up! oh they freshman team gonna win state!! Lol
-
it ain't lookin good for GTown middle school tonight either....got them Havenview Tigers at Crump stadium for the city championship. this week is all about Da Haven vs Gtown!! Friday night they sho nuff in trouble!!! I said what I said!!!

Not true. Oakland has to go to Maryville, a place they've never won at before. Maryville hasn't lost a home playoff game in nearly 20 years, so it's far from written in stone
so the past couple years they have played in Oakland? I mean because it has come down to those 2 the last years right? or am I missing something. who did Oakland beat the last couple years to get to the finals? I don't remember
-
so Oakland is definitely coming out of the east is the feeling I'm getting from the comments. is that true? maryville cant beat them?
-
yep!! you got it
-
the boys and girls just won the cross country city championship. that's the one I'm sure you were trying post right??

huge shoes indeed!! I kinda feel that's real generous for MUS. I think they will have struggles this year and being that central is now 5A I kinda see how you have them there. I would have bumped up CBHS with Hayden coming back but I think it's a pretty good list because really as far the city schools go it's like we have to go by what's been and the coaching staff. very few of the kids on the city teams played as sophomores so you have to hope they have developed well
