i Hope Maryville can sure up their front 7. idk how Oaklands runs the ball THIS YEAR but i know that they are usually athletic and physical AF up front. Maybe its different this year and idk if they have as good as OL as DB. It was just a little odd seeing that from a Rebel Team
Well they they have the top RB in the state for next year in Jordan James. The other guy that carries the ball could be even better but a little undersized.

Oakland 28-21

Word is Jalen Hunt was the positive case.
-
Things area starting to make since with all the dilemma surrounding the Covid situation. Word on the street is the positive case was JH. Makes since with all the confusion surrounding it.

I actually think Bradley could beat DB because they are not one dimensional and have a good passing game if they need to

35-13 Maryville

The last test was negative. I don't think that was the question. The question was who was considered a close contact when he was ill on Tuesday.
Last test was a blood test. Only test for antibodies. No way you build up any antibodies in two days. That test was useless. Unfortunately they all screwed the pooch

I would be careful about supplying locker room fodder. It's not 100% certain this game won't get played. I can remember a McMinn team not nearly as good as this one coming up here and hanging a loss on us.
And that bad Cleveland TN he speaks of took em to the wire

I can tell you right now that McMinn County didn’t want any part of Dobyns Bennett. You’ve played 1 good run defense all season and look what happened that game. I could argue DB’s front 7 is just as good as Maryville against the run. Jalen Hunt is in the top 5 rushing nationally only because of that trash schedule. I thought DB had a bad schedule until I looked at McMinn’s.
Sequoyah 0-10
McMinn Central 1-9
Heratige 2-8
Notre Dame 3-7
William Blount 4-6
Ooltewah 4-6
Bearden 4-7 (twice)
Cleveland 5-6
Lol Jalen Hunt still rushed for nearly 200 yards against Maryville and your defense isn't half as good as theirs. Alcoa proved that. Alcoa only crossed the 50 I think three times the entire game against Maryville. That D was lights out

It's ok Maryville will lose to Oakland the following week

From what I understand, the State Dept of Health officially quarantined the entire McMinn Football team yesterday, so it seems as if this is a DB advances or nobody does ruling.
Well this is not true SO... They were cleared by the their Health Dept to go. Sullivan Health Dept stopped it.

In this scenario, DB has a right to want to know that the other players in this kids position group were/are being quarantined. That may be the sticking point. Okay the kid who tested positive earlier isn’t with the team, but were the kids he practiced closely with also quarantined as they should be? Its hard when different counties health departments have different rules. I feel like maybe one organization, maybe the state Heath dept should oversee this so uniform decisions can be made. Because If there’s a difference in protocol from one department to the next, does McMinn’s health dept prevail or does DB’s area health department prevail since the contest is being held in Kingsport. For instance when I travel to another state, I have to obey that states laws even if my state laws are different. Is it the same scenario with these kinds of rules from the health dept? Who would have “jurisdiction “ so to speak?
Lol DB also had Covid cases recently. Where is the proof they could be 100% sure McMinn was safe to play the game against them. RIDICULOUS

Maybe, just maybe, Maryville gets 2 weeks to prep for Oakland.
Only to lose. I honestly don't they are strong enough to get past Oakland this year. They are loaded

The tribe has faced some pretty good backs this season and kept all of them in check.Makai Williams Bearden
Kendall Jackson Oak Ridge
Ahmaudd Sankey AlcoaMaybe Jalen Hunt proves to be the best of the 4 but until I see it I won’t believe the hype. And when I say “no one is running on the defense” I really mean no one but Maryville. They expose teams strengths and weaknesses. Lol.You will see just how good he is

Yes, they did. They had a DLinemen out and and WR/DB.
Lol but not a key WR/DB. Lose your starting Power 5 committed QB the first the game of the season along with a top WR in the state (power five player) the week before the season and we will talk about making excuses for losses.

It looks like they play better on the road too. Minus Bradley and Rhea! They should have won both of those games but were missing some key kids due to quarantine! Advantage back to WV! 100% healthy now. Heard CDA talk about it on the Friday Night Main Event YouTube channel!
They were not mission multiplayer kids vs Bradley. Misinformation

Anyone one wanna take a bet Hunt runs for more yards against DB than Alcoa's entire running total. I may eat crow but you don't know good he is until you see him In Person. He will also start at safety. McMinn isnt as good as Alcoa but Hunt is that good.
-
Jalen Hunt is a better than any back than Alcoa has on their roster. When you see him you will understand. He is just small. 3-4 more inches and 20lbs kid would be a power 5 player. His listing is very very generous. The kid is probably no taller than 5'6.
-
Cleveland can definitely throw the ball. They have two very good WR in Thomas and McGowan.
-
Exactly they have to get the ball down field to Hall.

Does Floyd finally get the monkey off his back?

Warren County would beat any team other than Maryville in our region unfortunately
