I don't understand why Monterey and York don't play. 30 mins away and seemed to be a decent rilvary atmosphere last few years. 

Fun game to watch as a York fan.  Hope the young man from Clay County that left in the ambulance is ok.  Prayers headed that way for him.  

Did anyone go to the York/Cumberland County game.  I didn’t get off in time to go. 

York has Scott county at home tomorrow.  Hoping the weather is decent.  

York varsity won 21-0.

We can only hope.  I'm not close to the program anymore all my kids are grown. I'm nothing more than a casual fan that likes to talk football.  I have heard there is a new defensive coordinator.  But dont think he is from Texas.  

Haven't seen any talk on scrimmages who is scrimmaging who? 

York has Dekalb this Friday and I think I heard maybe Scott county the next Friday.

I disagree if the refsare bad they are bad win or lose.  I've said before the refs helped us win with calls I thought they got wrong.  I agree it's part of the game.  I hate to that in the state tournament it happens so often.  Win or lose your either happy they are bad or your upset they are.  

I watched them all play today and that's my opinion.  If I'm writing ng ill admit it 

I would be surprised if WV is challenged after today.  I think today was the championship game for 2A.

I would not want to be a ref that's for sure and respect those that do most of the time.

Video shows it even better no contact with body perfect block.  I think a lot of times fefs blow their whistle in anticipation of somthing happening and then you gotta call something   I hate it for those young ladies but unfortunately refs are a huge part of the game.  I've watched two games this week with oneofficial being in both and both games she called foul count was very lopsided.  York will live to fight another day.  This was a very fun group to watch.

Here ya go two miles from the school 

York had a starter and they’re number 6 off the bench out when they played the first time.  I think that made a big difference. Was definitely two good teams in a battle tonight fun game to watch.

They refused last year in a Christmas tournament 

I wished York would put theirs back down on the floor opposite of their bench. Not sure why they put them up in the top shelf.  Takes the student section out of the game.

York coach did me a good job scheduling out of region games with tough team's.  I enjoy that he is a young coach and coaches defense as hard as he does.  Hiring him when they did 4 years ago saved the basketball program. I don't think many of these girls are at York had they not made the change when they did.  Going to be to be along for the ride. These girls are definitely a hard working TEAM!

I disagree. It should had an advantage to the winner of the region. The team I root for had both last year Girls traveled for substate boys was home. What n the region get advantage.  It's a reward for an accomplishment.

This format should draw huge crowds and media interest while providing a state like atmosphere while games are played at a neutral site.

The other recommendation would be for the TSSAA to get rid of that awful NFHS Network. There are independent broadcast companies and individual schools in the state of Tennessee who would do a much better job than the out of state and lousy NFHS. This should be at all levels of post season play. 

I agree with putting same regions in different sides of the bracket but think the winning the region tournament should give you that home  substate game.  This allows teams to play in some awesome environments.  Win the region and it’s a huge home court advantage lose and you’re in a hostile environment.
