I don’t think that’s accurate. Bigger faster stronger sure but don’t think they were ever timid or avoiding contact.

I hate to say it but it looked like they were afraid to hit to me honestly. Definitely weren't laying the wood like they should've been

Nope ! The Devils Head Coach cost them the game no adjustments to try to even compete congrats to Upperman I'm just saying PC the Athletes would have done a little more on a dry surface

That's quite a moot point. Upperman has to play on the same field too, not to mention the size disadvantage which plays into PCs favor in a ground and pound game. We can play the 'ifs, ands, and buts' game all day but the proof is in the pudding.

Congratulations to Pearl Cohn of the weather hadn't been a factor pretty sure Pearl would have had several more scores

Did the weather prevent the Greenie Weenies from scoring several more times too?:roflol:

  4. If the Honey Bees can prevent the big plays and force the Hot Chickens to grind out yards as the defense forces turnovers then the Bees will return to the plateau with a gold ball. But if they allow PC to run all over the field they'll find themselves fighting from behind.

    I've got the U 28-21

How did they “get better”? What magical formula was it that caused them from being a mediocre 1A team to a championship contender in 4A? It’s amazing how that happened. How does Red Boiling Springs or Pickett County do this?

Step 1. Prospective players/parents see posts like yours and realize they'd rather not play football with a bunch of titty babies

    Step 2. Go to state

No you’re not suppose to know who I am but I would expect someone who does sports commentary for a living to actually read through the entire thread before quoting something but not surprised since you didn’t do your homework on the Greeneville vs Alcoa score when you said “Alcoa was beating Greeneville at half and that’s why the didn’t won’t to continue”.  Hard to shake someone’s hand when I wasn’t there and watched it online since I don’t live in Greeneville anymore.  I would have if I was there but not when you come on here and just acted the way you did.

Misspoke and not doing research are two different things, either you knew good and well the score when it was called for weather or you were to lazy to actually gather the stats.  You’re not going to change my opinion about you all being annoying homers and it’s not just me that thinks that, you said it about yourself

The Greenie Weenies are fortunate the game was cancelled and their "undefeated" regular season saved. No need to save face now. Y'all been bragging all week about how you were tied (LMAO) 7-7 with Alcoa when everyone and their grandma knew Alcoa was about to put another 7 on the board and lay the wood on the Gwomen for the rest of the game! You sissies have been saying Alcoa like Beetlejuice hoping the Tornadoes would appear Friday in those diarrhea-green leotards to save you from that whipping:roflolk:

I already gave an update with my previous post today but maybe you can't read.  I still think you are bunch of homers (Annoying to anyone thats not a fan of your team compared to the Greeneville Radio Guys) and needed to get facts straight before you said wrong information online (It's called responsible journalism but guess you don't want to admit that).  Still don't think the Fayetteville vs Tennessee high was a good comparison as a sports commentator and should have taken a different angle.  Good Luck in Chatt like a said earlier to Upperman.  Funny you didn't say anything to me yesterday but wouldn't have expected anything different from watching your show the other day.

Tennessee High? I've never heard of those nobodies

I will say this about upperman, in 2013 they came to Alcoa, riding very high on a qb that never got sacked or dirty, their fans were obnoxious, talked trash even in the ticket lines that went to the bottom of the hill. Their players, namely the qb was better than anyone in the state to hear them talk!!!! At half time they wished they had never crossed the plateau! That qb couldn’t even tell what number he was nor what their colors were. By the end of the fourth, they had 75 hung on them. I said all that to say this, upperman can be a great program but they are their worst enemies, like the next year were beat AGAIN, on their own field but blame the refs on their OWN  muddy azz field that was offered to be played at tech because of all the rain, but THEY would NOT!!! But yet cried about the game!!! AGAIN, to be the man, BEAT  the man, in this case the devils!!!!! Greenville by 14!!!!!!

The Greenie Weenies are getting knocked back into the last decade! It ain't 2013 pal :roflolk:

Thats not the goat. Until someone has 74 tds in a season, 2700 pass and 2600 rushing in a season, scores 9 tds in a playoff game, and has 125 career tds....the goat will be Conner "Sunshine" York.

York is undeniably the GOAT on offense but I was referring to just the HB/FB position. As a JR, Palk has 1402 yds and 13 TDs on 208 carries. Metzgar had 1959 yds and 39 TDs on 236 carries. No, this isn't as good as Metzgar's stats but if you consider this year Rollins has also shouldered the load with 410 yds, 8 TDs on 65 touches, Palk would be getting up there if he was fed the ball more often. A lot of potential next year. This'll be a good test for the Bees

I will say this Upperman has allowed just as many points as they have scored. Gv with 2 less games has scored almost double the points Upperman has and only allowed to include the playoff 94pts.  Noone is counting chickens early facts are facts.  Please travel safely and we will see the Bees Friday.

They must not teach math in NE Tennessee. The U has 378 PF and 125 PA. That's over 3x they've scored more than been scored on. And 480 is not "almost double" to 378. Half of 480 is 240... You must've just pulled those numbers out of your bum

Thinking about coming to this one but not if it's going to be Greeneville 20-0 in the 1st quarter.           What do you guys honestly think, does U have any type of shot in this one?

It is highly unlikely Greeneville will score 3 TDs in the first half, much less the first quarter. The Bees are averaging 9.5 PA a game, and this may be one of Caine's best defense at Upperman. However they're gonna struggle putting points on the board unless coach has been hiding schemes/plays for Gville. They average 29 PF per game compared to the Devil's 43 PF. The RB Palk may be the best back Upperman has had in the past 2 decades and can pound the rock. The sophomore QB Chaffin has the arms, legs, and size but due to his inexperience he is timid running through traffic and doesn't throw on the run well. But if he doesn't get rattled and can take charge the Bees will be very competitive in this game

  12. Good game to Macon Co. Them boys fight hard and are well coached but unfortunately for the Tigers same can be said for Upperman. Defense and the running ability of Palk allowed the Bees to control the clock. The score difference might have been greater but silly penalties kept MC in the game. They could have gone deeper in the playoffs if they didn't have to face us but that's the way the cornbread crumbles.

I know Anderson had the Cinderella season last year and played a brutal schedule this year, and Greenville is a juggernaut in 4A. But whoever wins this game, what kind of chance does the winner have against Anderson or Greenville?

Hard to say, I don't think these teams have faced off before. According to Massey, AC and Gville both are 2 TD favorites against either the U or MC. For both teams sake they better hope AC wins because the 3+hr drive to Greeneville won't be enjoyable. As for the Bees I don't think they've shown their full potential for a full game yet. If they play lights out 4-quarter football they will finally get over the semifinals hump
