    I agree Middle TN did seem down outside of Oakland, Riverdale, and Brentwood. I know what a monster Oakland is but they played a mediocre schedule in comparison to Houston due to the Middle TN being not as competitive like you stated. If Houston can match Oakland’s physicality which I think they can then they have a good shot to upset the champs.

    Try again; HC coach the only one who sounded butt hurt cause he got outcoached and beat by a Memphis team. SW QB was in 7th grade during the Covid year so there’s that. And you obviously have no idea how many other good schools that are in close proximity to Southwind that they have to compete with for the pooled talent. Calling him out for being an obvious sore loser and embarrassment to a respectable HC football program definitely isn’t making anyone mad. You sound just as lame as their coach did. :bored:

    let’s be real. Henry county can win all the regular season games they want. When a good referee team comes and watches them they crumble 

    lol not at all; just pulling for the remaining region 8 teams. The officials didn’t impact the game nearly as much as the HC play calling did. I’ll admit, the officials called a much cleaner game than I expected.

    Absolutely nothing to be in denial about on my end; we both know why MJ never got any hardware. You couldn’t “ruffle” a feather if you were trapped in a chicken coop…lol

    I’ll admit I’ve only seen one game this year and it was a non competitive blowout win but they do have a really good quarterback who is spreading the ball around and making good decisions. From what I’ve gathered they don’t beat themselves with dumb penalties or have many self inflicted wounds. Scrappy, physical  lineman who play bigger than they really are. Defense is solid as well. HC will be the best team they’ve faced all year so it’ll be interesting to see how the sophomore qb and handles playing on the road in a hostile wet environment.

    Yes read a couple comments above; maybe not literally praying but you get it. Last year’s lost is irrelevant. Maybe the rain will help maybe not.  Still proud of Southwind for representing well. They can’t be the best unless they can travel on the road and beat the best. If they continue to play disciplined football and minimize mistakes they can definitely come away with a win.
