2 key Games will be DCA and Kings for sure. But no chance of 5-5 with Webb and Grace’s on the schedule. MJCA should put one in the win column as well.

I think they will lose to DCA TKA DA  Stone Memorial. That would be 5 loses. Hopefully they can split instead. I just don't see enough on offense to get it done. Hope they prove me wrong.

    Thanks Playercoach and TitanMike

We just do not know what we are getting into with TKA.  I believe they have some very good players in 1,4,5,7 and 74.  They also have some players that might need some more experience.

They have some good skill players on offense and will spread you out.  Their weakness is depth and size.  FCS was able to run on them.  Check their videos on MaxP website.

CA over FCS if they can throw the ball well.

    NCS over FA.

    USJ over TKA.

DCA over DA in a big upset if they don’t have catastrophic turnovers.  If they do then DA will win. Homer pick here.

    Semis

    NCS over USJ

    DCA over CA

So you think DCA is better than FCS now?  Not even close!  FCS is 20 points better.

    FCS 42 - TKA 7, DCA 14 - TKA 17.

Your perception is warped from the FCS - DCA game earlier. FCS came out flat and Seagraves had a bad ankle and wasn't even sure was gong to play.  The second half they dominated DCA and even played second string 4th quarter.  DCA's season will end this Friday.  They had a great turnaround.

  4. Top to bottom the West is much stronger this year but FCS is just as good as any of them as well.  Four teams have a legit shot at winning gold and two more will have a say.  USJ has the easiest path to the semi-finals, as they will not have any trouble with the two East teams they have to play.  DA has the next easiest road.  NCS and FCS have the hardest round 2 match ups and both will need to play well to win.  NCS has the most size/talent but the worst game day coaching.  They could easily be 8-2 or 7-3 right now.  Playoffs are wide open this year and should be fun to watch.

  5. I am interested in the Columbia A vs DA, this will give a better feel for where CA is in this division.  The two teams they have played so far would have beat anyone in this division as well. The other West game is TCA at FA.  Will FA show they can compete for the title or be more in the middle of the pack.  TCA has already shown they are more middle of the pack.  In the East, DCA at MTCS.  If DCA wins they will get the second seed.  The TKA vs MJCA is a game between two average teams.  The TRA vs USJ is interesting.

Sloppy sloppy game for DCA with all the turnovers. I thought the DL with two freshmen and sophomore competed well against FCS and the MLB who is a freshman has a bright future. Gotta score from the 15 and 5 yards lines in the first half. Two Scores there and it’s 14-3 at half. DCA’s most explosive offensive player and really good def player going out early in the 2nd Qtr was tough on them.

Good luck to FCS. Both teams can make some noise in the playoffs if things go well.

Yes, both teams left points on the table. FCS two times inside the 5 and only get 3 points. Three dropped ints and two quick whistles cost them two fumble recoveries. DCA controlled the first half outgaining FCS 165 to 40. Third quarter was all Friendship 167 to -2. After FCS went up by 22 they played a lot of subs in the 4th. Losing #8 hurt as he looked good. Hope he is okay looked like a concussion.

You were spot on with your opinion about DCA. Solid team, balanced offense and speed on defense. They should win 8 maybe 9 games. The East has two good teams now. DCA will be solid come playoff time.

  7. Eagleeye2020, please share with us your thoughts on the "Victory formation" and then running a play to run up the score.  Lets reverse the situation and have the defense tee off on them when they take a knee. There would be a flag and a fight.  It is a gentleman's agreement that the game is over when a team goes into that formation.  To then run a play is crap.  Don't give the answer, if you don't won't them to score then stop it.  That would work if they had lined up in a offensive set, then yes it is up to the defense to stop them.  What NCS did was like a sucker punch to the back of the head and was classless. Please share your thoughts curious minds are waiting.

There may be two kids that sat out all year. Anyone else has been playing for a while.

So how many transfers did they get in October and this year?  Just curious?  I am thinking 3 in October and you say 2 this year for 5.  I noticed #23 was not at QB against GCS.  Is the QB new?  thanks,

  9. It was a flagrant facemask and a penalty. A very violent play but not worthy of ejection. He was fighting off a block and just grabs what he can. He is a large kid and best keep an eye on where he is on every play.

  10. College it would be targeting and ejection. Pros targeting and penalty. Not sure if TN high school has that rule but since he was on the ground before the hit I would call it a personal foul at least. Clearly a blow to the head.

Do you have a prediction on the game?

    FCS 35-7

more competitive than last year but not enough for DCA to win. Nice start to their season but a little better team this week. Much improved from last year and I think they could fInish third in the East.  What will Friendship have to contend with from DCA?

  12. Looks like the coaches aren't ready to play him yet. Seagraves made some really nice throws last night and the offense was more balanced.  Nice win and now time to get ready for DCA.

Don't know his dad just wondering if we will get to see what he can do like he did in the Jamboree

Seriously, I hope we get to see him tonight also.  Last week, since the game did not matter, I think they just tried not to get anyone else hurt.  Especially the only QB they have left.  He did look good in the jamboree.  The real season starts tonight so we should see more than just the wildcat.

So when is FCS going to let lose the QB beast #6 from Trousdale? I have watched this athlete and he is spot on!

    Thanks Dad,

    Your the best #6 :)
