That all depends on who is hired. It’s never really been one before so why would we think it would be now?
If you were a coach would you want to follow coach Grider.

In 2013 they went 13-2 and State Runner Up actually.
And the next they barely had a winning season and got beat by Copper Basin and they run the coach out of town on a rail. heck in 2013 anybody could have won with that team. Even you.

Coach Grider is a great coach can't dispute that, but when he leaves, SP football will be revolving door for coaches. Who in there right mind would want to follow in his footsteps? And the revolving door statement was made from a homegrown boy with barrels of ink.

The last time Coach Grider stepped down how did that work out for you guys? So good that you begged him to come back and save the day. The next time it goes belly up do you think he will come back again?

The coaching search has been a roller coaster of events according to my sources. Hopefully you guys can find a solution.......The right solution that is or else..................
I agree it needs to be over and a coach announced.

The only thing a Warrior fan should be concerned with is will Jasper get a coach that will unite the town. Not worry about SP. Marion’s situation is a dumpster fire right now with the community and they hopefully can bring in somebody that both sides are good with.
As as far as SP though nobody knows when Grider is leaving. The captain will leave when he chooses. He has more than earned that right but when he does I can assure you there will be a plan in place prior to that decision.
At least you did not dispute the fact about Wesley? Lol

Pot calling the kettle black, our coaching search is all you guys have been talking about since Joey announced he was leaving. So it's ok for you to speculate but we can't. That sounds awful hypocritical now doesn't it.

Sam Montgomery?

When ol Victory hangs it up next year if not sooner, you fellas gonna bring back Tim Moore? Or is Wes Stone going to be the new coach? heck he has already asked Vic when he was leaving.

The Captain could, not sure about coach Tidmore but sure he is experienced. A Young QB/offensive coordinator would be exciting. Point is plenty of experienced coaching talent in house that provides options for another hire.
Old Pirate is Vic not the OC? are you not happy with his play calling and the way he coaches the QB's? Why would you want to change that side of the ball?

Old Pirate says yous got two questions. The Captain is most likely put out a selective collection of feelers fer the assistant coach. Figure there is others on staff that could be DC. Personally OP says a young QB coach / offensive coordinator would be a huge advantage. Leastways, Ricky Ross ain’t ever going to be considered fer nothing round the Speedway. You Jailhouse fellers are the Only ones desperate enough to even consider, much less give an interview! Slow learners sure nuff run rampant round the jailhouse.
Wesley Stone or Heath Grider are the only ones on that staff that could call defense

RR, JC, CT and AC names I hear for SP DC. DP great hire for MC.
JC is that Coley? AC is that Caine? RR is Ricky Ross. Who is CT?

How would the SP faithful feel about Ricky Ross as the new DC in South Pitt if he is not hired at MC?
-
Here is what i can't understand, why is SP so concerned/interested in what or who Marion County hires as a football coach? Here is a question for you SP guys, who is SP gonna hire for a defense coordinator? And personally i could care less who they i hire. Yes I have heard rumors about who they may hire, but they are just rumors.

FreeAgent11 can you share the link to YouTube

Played a lot of you kids

Lol...you are correct. MC and SP wrote the book on football. You should know that by now.
Considering how many Championships and runner up trophies we both have, I would say we wrote a lot of it. Lol
-
Why don't you guys go ahead and create a Jasper vs South Pitt thread!!!!
It's Marion!!! You should hear that a lot Friday when they say MARION scores again and again
-
Bass the entire SC vs SP game is on YouTube

Tracy Malone was the head coach at whitwell and was NOT employed by Marion County Board of Education. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am.
