  1. I will be making the drive to cheer on Alcoa this Friday and will where my Notre Dame colors proud. I've been to alcoa games. The fans are great. Alcoa you wait to you get aload of the Upperman faithful. Well I can't call them faithful cause after listening to teams they've played it seems most of the fans came out this year and will dissappear next year.

I guess the A stands for A-hole, or maybe Arrogant or maybe it's just A-hole. And that's a compliment! I really mean that!

  2. Alcoa belts Upperman by 21 and goes to the Blue Cross Bowl

I don't much about Alcoa but from what I've read this past week I can tell they are worried about Upperman and our potential. I think your arrogance will your be your Achilles, so you better pucker up because we are on our way. Upperman by 14.

  3. DC, SC, LA didn't have the OL UH had. UH would have been 7-3 or possibly 8-2 if York and Ely would have been healthy all year. Add to that #24 who the paper had 900+ receiving, 12 td, good olb and he didn't even play last year in 2012. Ely is just as good at his DE as York is at QB, just not getting they hype. #63 Key is a beast at guard and has won every battle I have seen him play this year.York had a below avg game verse Grundy, and O still put up 56. Mostly on the back of tb #21(1300 yards) and wr #24 catching balls and running that reverse thing they do. Now you give DC....York #2, Ely #33, #63 Key and #24 wr....they might still be playing like UH is. Not to mention some more good players in #13 DE, #56 ol(blocked Gill), #67 OL, #62 the 6'6 ol, #78 340lb noise, #10 wr ( has about 10td's) and wr/db's #8 and #6 who have about a dozen combined td catches. This aint no one horse team folks.

I think your point is Upperman is a team with exceptional talent and they play as a team. If the Upperman D is healthy and plays there usual then Upperman wins by 3 TD's. If the D plays like they did last week this will be a one score win or less.

  4. Slow down there JohnnyRay! I've seen how much fun it is to tantilize these 3 Alcoa dudes, but let's not get carried away. Both teams still have to win Friday night! If they do both win, you are going to hear some really scary comparisons. Upperman needed a score in the last minute to beat LA and CAK beat LA by 35 I think. If Upperman has a game like the LA game, anyone left can beat them. If they play like they did against Tyner, heck they might beat anyone. Let's beat ND before we even think about the Alcoa--Upperman thread!

The comparing of these two games doesn't amount to much. The only reason it was close was 5 turn overs by Upperman QB. He probably played his worst game that night. You can't be perfect every week. Good thing #24 ran that last pass in for a TD and the win.

  5. Dude you sound like that has been "tyner ram man" ! This time next week you will be another "U" distant memory!LOL

I think to many of you ND fans are drinking that Irish whiskey. It's not all about the U QB. The offense as a whole wins the games. The ball is spread around to multiple WR and running back, without them the QB wouldn't have a chance. The U offense tempo is to fast for everyone and people under estimate there overall speed, especially #24 & 8. I seen both of those guys out run the entire Tyner team.

  6. Upperman 41 Tyner 14

Upperman has two man weapons on both sides of the ball. The offense avg 53.2 ppg and the defense allows less than 14ppg. The QB isn't much of a threat on Defense but he can get the job done on offense and he has like 1700 yards and fifty or more TD, not to mention the have a WR #24 with over a 1000 yards, a running back #12 with 1300+ yards and many other caple WR with more than 500 Yards and there are other running backs that have filled in very well. The starting offense hasn't had to play more than 3 quarters except for 2 games. If I was Tyner I would be worried.
