I bet booger don't no that another coach is leaving the Irish and joining another staff just down the road!!!!

Braswell is a perfect fit. He only abandoned ship because of what happened at central with the middle school coach hire. Anyone would have left because of that. And you said he is not a good coach because he took all the players for his defense (which was one of the best in the area). Last time I checked defense wins championships. Didn't you see the super bowl. All he would need is someone with half of a brain to call offensive plays. He would be a fantastic hire. Webb would be a good hire as well.

Tim James will be the next man if he want it. Also heard white, Gann, and Webb applied.

I don't disagree with that prediction one bit upper Cumberland but who do you predict are the 3 that defeat the Irish?

Mariakis is an incredible person/coach but do not see him coaching anymore.  I can definitely see Pemberton or maybe even the guy from Chatt Christian that coached at all levels.  What about Charles Fant from ND?  I hear he is from Cleveland.

Gonna be a close one, IMO.  Unless LA gets up early.

It will be close for a little while....Red bank by 21...too many athletes.

Never happened JohnnyRay, but he did pick off a pass from York.  Get your facts straight.  It was a corner he jumped over, Orr played safety last year.

Rumor is EK turned down Heritage. 

Why would Heritage want to bring in Slaughter? They just got rid of one average coach to bring in another average coach? That makes no sense. I would take my chances with an unproven assistant before I hired this guy.

Rumor is Heritage in North Ga is announcing their next head coach tomorrow.  May open up another head coaching position in Hamilton County.  Just saying.

ND beat East Ridge 21-9.

Tyner beat East Ridge 28-14.

Upperman beat Tyner by 21.

ND beat Grundy at Grundy 41-0

Upperman beat Grundy 52-20 at Home

ND beat my team so I don't like them. However, they have more than one player that is faster than York.  (I have seen them run track too)  I was originally picking York 38 ND 35.  However, the change of atmosphere is going to fire ND up.  ND 35 Bees 27. 

Please don't punish the kids or the program.  This isn't college where the kids are on scholarship and can transfer wherever they want.

I doubt it.  Last time I talked to him around 2-3 months ago he was happy at ND. I saw where he went for the head job when it was opened last but didn't get it.  Seems like that was a mistake.

I would like to see Tyner win and Upperman probably hasn't seen a team like Tyner all year.  However, that's going to be a long drive for the rams.  Upperman squeaks it out 35-31.  Good luck Rams!

I think I may have found the article that fish saw about Campbell.  The article was dated in 2005 and it says he was age 31.  So I would say 39 or so.

I do not believe so.  I think he has only coached at Central, LFO, and now ND.  He is a very good coach and well liked by many other coaches in the area.  He still takes my son out to eat with about 5 other ex-Central athletes every Christmas time (and he pays).  I believe our kids at Central need someone like him, who truly cares (whether it is him or not).  Best of luck in the hiring process.   

Coach Pemberton will have his boys ready.  I feel like Rhea will control the clock and keep the ball away from Cleveland's high powered offense.  24-21 Golden Eagles.

The coach you are referring to is Coach Bo Campbell, who did coach at Central in the past but left for family reasons.  Barger is a good coach but also inherited 20 something Seniors when Campbell left.  In my opinion, Campbell was one of the few coaches that was BUILDING the program in the right direction.  Why they did not hire him this last go around is beyond me. He was great when it came to caring about the kids academics and behavior.  Heck, he made my son and a lot of other players run for having Ds or Fs.  Ask my son or any other player that has ever played for him and they will tell you.  He is an ultimate players coach and always has a great coaching staff that follows him.  Heck, just look at ND the past two years, one of the best defenses around the area.

I would like Coach Cook to stay but he may go with Allen or he may look to go back up toward Rhea though. Now he may stay. The kids like him, but who knows. If you read the announcement from Mr. King it said with as I took it with Head coach experience. There are going to be some interesting inquiries. This time the school needs one to stay with them. I know a former Coach Bo Wallace put in for it when Allen did. He is now the defensive coordinator at Notre Dame and still teaches at Lakeview.
Personally I would like to see Coach Barger to come back but his wife would have to find a job own this way. Coach Barger was good and he really got this team turned around. He was good with the kids.
