  1. hummmmmm.....sounds EXACTLY like a team i know last week....LOL....yall probably just sloppy, hungover from last week and a little over confident....i think you guys hold on then hopefully bash trezevant.......or giles

They never play well the week they out of school! Catholic always play Fulton tough! The history shows it. They were tougher than Greeneville actually! Catholic will be next in line to battle Greeneville because they are a real young team

  2. Rough night for penny... Over throwing wide open receivers. Offense is doing just enough to maintain a lead and defense is playing a much better 2nd half.

He played real bad tonight! The team overall did! Must be the thanksgiving food. Fulton generally don't play well the week they out of school anyway.

  3. Catholic played a great game! To lose to the defending 4a state champ by one TD is something no one expected. Catholic actually had a chance to win this game. Really excited about next years team. Going to be loaded with talent!

Best game I've seen so far! Catholic was a lot tougher than Greeneville. I honestly believe Catholic coach called a great game. The Irish will be tough next couple of years with so young of team. Congrats Irish on one heck of a game! Real good team. Get my respect
  4. Fulton is beatable, but let's see who can do it first. Excuses might fly, but let's hold off on that one. As fa as Hawkins or Rollins, compare  them to other recruited athletes and they don't suffer from lack of D-1 skills and speed. What is holding them back is their height. Both around 5'7" maybe 5'8". If they were 2 to 3 inches taller, I feel like they would be on everyones watch list. Who says "No thanks… We've already got someone who can run a 4.3".

We'll said, totally agree. If Rollins was 5'11 205. Every team would be on him. If Hawkins was 6'0 he would be top 10 recruit. I still believe he will be like a randle cobb. Slept on recruit that will make a huge impact.

  5. I have a serious question about this Fulton team. And I don't mean this in a negative way cause I don't know anything about the Fulton team and have only watched them play one time this year and it was against Greeneville. But from reading on here about how they were exposed by South and had a bad game and then beating Greenville this past Friday(which I have commented that I wasn't impressed which is my opinion and I own it). What happens if they get beat and don't bring a Championship back to Knoxville,(here is my question) what will be the excuses? Like I said not bashing this team was just curious cause of all the hype I have heard about them all year. And yes the kid that got an offer from the Pac 12 is nice but its not from the toughest conference in College Football. If the Kid was as dominate as he is talked about on here then the top tier teams in the nation would be knocking his door down to get him(ALABAMA-TEXAS A&M-FLORDIA STATE even OHIO STATE). Like I said just curious... Good Luck to Fulton on there journey to win another State Title.

Go check him out on hudl. Xavier Hawkins. Good kid. Humble. He just come to play ball. I don't think it matters where he go. He just a athlete

  6. bvd we don't see eye to eye on this but one thing I know is that we both love the team. With that said, I really don't see how you can say this game was called very well. You could see very early on we weren't going to be taking it up the gut. Why we were trying to run on 3rd and long on drives we were gettin some steam is beyond me. It killed every bit of momentum we had built up when we would get stopped for a yard gain and have to punt. Now, also don't confuse me with a Ballard hater. While I don't think this game was his best work by far, I still love him as our coach and believe he is the man for the job. I can't wait to see what we are bringing next year. He made some mistakes tonight and I am just an upset fan voicing my opinion

Agree, greeneville coach need to abandon the fake punt kick. It killed him in field position!

  7. good to meet you tonight photoman, best of luck cruising to Cookeville.....I don't think you got greenevilles best shot tonight and that's not a sore loser talking, that's just how I feel. we killed ourselves all night and it looked like at times our coach or coaches might have out thought themselves a bit. but im not even sure about that one either. I think if we play ten times, you guys probably win 6 times, that's how close I think we really are, Hayes had an aweful night for us and we couldn't get trevor the ball enough......in the end, the better team won the game tonight, so congrats and we'll see you next year.

Yea, greeneville will be back in form next year. There coach going have to make better call next time the play quick teams. Honestly, Greenville squad look like 2010 squad so with that being said I expect greeneville to be back next year. What's everyone thoughts on the Hawkins, Fultons receiver?

  8. Well we didn't have our starting RB, a guy that has more TD's and total yards than Hawkins does. I don't think we're as good as we were two weeks ago, can't be when you lose that type of production. Still good enough to beat #2 in 4A by 20. Healthy we could beat Maryville. Right now I doubt it.

we also didnt have Stokes on D-Line either.  If Rollins would have played i believe it would have been 50 or more pts for fulton easy

  9. Well, my prediction where right on.  I told Greenville to be prepared for the east tennessee Tavon Austin, which was Xavier Hawkins.  This kid wasnt offered by Oregon State for nothing.  He has been on a tear all year.  I hate Rollins wasnt available, cause it would been a real long nite for Greenville if he played.  Green showed good class but the stomping on the Falcon in the beginning was a little to disrespectful.  They did take the lost with pride.  They where a good team but there coach killed them with that fake type punt.  He made some bad choices as a coach.  Greenville corners was alot slower than what i expected but the better team one.  Greenville, may need to get some tougher teams on schedule in future. Teams with more speed.  Good game though Greenville.  May be next year!

  10. Great breakdown RedRaider85. Puts it into perspective. I really hate to hear that Fulton has potentially lost Rollins. It is never good to get this type of news. He is SEC material for sure. I was tremendously impressed. Good luck to the Soph. stepping up. What a storried time to get his bread.

But, without Rollins, SS would have had no problem winning the game. Rollins was that good and made that big of a difference.

Without him, Fulton will limp. As i said before umpteen posts ago, Rollins is a tad faster than Willie. And Greeneville fans DO remember Willie.

Rollins is pretty fast. He went to under armour camp with top recruits and ran the fastest 40 out of everybody! 4.3
  11. You can equate that .. come on .. Green been playing without that  kid for weeks and weeks ..  Falcons hadnt played with out Rollins the 1st game yet .. bad blow but falcons will come resdy to play .. see what happens . I work at hospital beside field .. its gettin damp for sure ... and oh yea security here at tennova told me that they had a guy from Greenville on the 3rd floor of parking garage with tripod .. videoing practice yesterday  ..what you guys got a LIVE feed going back to Greeneville .. good thing the Falcons warmups dont have numbers .... these Greeneville folks never cease to amaze me .

That's bad if that's true! Wow! Recording a teams practice. Greeneville may be a little nervous taking it this far. Wow! It's just high school football!

  12. I don't want to be disrespectful to Fulton; they did beat SS. But SS lost the one player that was stopping Rollins. Their starting RB/Corner was lost early in the 3rd Q. Fulton did not capitorlize on that loss until late in the 4th Q. Tonight is a totally different game now.

Rollins was a no factor. Hawkins will take control of game!

  13. Rollins>>>>>>>>>>>>Haney

But Rollins is a big factor for falcons! Might be tough for falcons tonight! Fulton still has receivers and Mr. Everything too "Hawkins". He will put up points. The sophomore kid may be ok. Wish the best for both teams. Still give Fulton a slight edge on win. No blow out!

  14. I don't know if he is worth that many points, but the way he affects a defense's gameplan might be worth a TD or 2.

I honestly think his presences matter that much bill say 21 pt difference. Fulton may be slow to start without him. Will be a tougher game. If he does play no one really know how healthy he is either so it's up in air. I feel fulton may be in tough one tonight without him

  15. Dominate was the wrong word but...

Time of possession: Rebels ~ 30 min. Falcons ~ 18 min.

First Downs: Rebels 16. Falcons 15.

    Rushing: Rebels 159. Falcons 125.

    Passing: Rebels 174. Falcons 183.

Total Offense: Rebels 333. Falcons 308.

Punts: Rebels 3 for 26 avg.. Falcons 3 for 41 avg.

When a team is able to control the ball like the Rebels did it just leaves a greater impression on people than the quick strikes that the Falcons had that are over in a few seconds. Also, many of Fulton's yards came in the final 3 min of the game. Good luck to both tonight. If Greeneville can contain the corners tonight I believe they will come away with the W.

I personally think the falcons need Rollins tonight if he doesn't play Greeneville does have a real chance at winning but it will be a close one. U can't really look at last weeks stats because a totally different team may show up!
  16. Yes I do know how many TD that is... I was making a joke... hence the LOL after I said " we at least scored 14 pts" I hope its just Coach T chatter about the young man named Rollins. I hope is able to play in this great game tonight. Its going to be a great atmosphere! Two great and prideful programs going head to head tonight.I will cheer my Devils on to the end and if by chance we come away with out the "W" Then the Fulton Falcons gain another fan to cheer them on for a second straight gold ball. Good Luck to all, but just a little more MOJO to my Devils!! :)

I heard he was playing, then I heard he may not! So it's a 50 a 50 chance he will play. Not sure!
  17. I have to jump in here... not picking on you Venthonio, because I have seen it from other posters as well... the Falcons crushed Greeneville last year?! Crushed means "2010" 35-0 and "2011" 42-0 that's being crushed!! 42-14 was a nice beat down by the falcons last year, but by no means would it be considered "crushed"..we at least scored...twice! lol... the team that starts early and limits mistakes wins! Go big Greene

    28 pts is not a crushing! Wow! That's 4 TDs u know!
