  1. Dooby seems a little touchy. Needs to get his panties out of a wad!!

Not at all just love how these Camden people don't remember when they were getting throttled every year in the 80-90 years. Yeah they have owned 2000's but all in past. Been around a lot of them but you bring up losing years and they don't want to talk anymore. That's why I said it goes in spurts, and I think it is fixing to turn back to waverly looking at talent for next five or six tears.

  2. I dont need any faith or predictions for this statement  its a fact! Lets call it 3 and 17 which is what the record  actually is  in the last 20 meetings

In all seriousness  I think we are going to have our way with ya'll this year.

If you have been around this rivalry for a long time you should know that it runs in spurts for both sides. Wonder what the overall record is. And if your part of Camden staff as someone pointed out you should be reprimanded for downing your feeder program on social media. If you have problem with him maybe you need to take it up with him. That could be pretty funny I believe.

  3. Heard mcewen has good team for next Friday. Don't see it, does anyone have any info? Don't think mcewen is anywhere talent wise to what we have already played this pre season. Camden week after. Rumbling over in c-town about new offense. Sure it will still be 90% brown running the ball if I had to guess.

  4. Obion scored on second play of scrimmage then waverly rolling off 5 in a row. Obion is a 4a school with good athletes. Not as good as the other school in county union city but still good. Defense played very well especially on run game. Some big hits applied. Freshmen rb trucked two defenders on way to 35 yd td run. LB's really were dishing out pain. As for Hicksville dissing palk as a rb, would like to see a comparison of stats from last year with Patton before determining. Reliable ones, not fictitious ones. Does tssaa have those listed?

  5. Heard there is a qb club meeting at Meriwether Lewis in Waverly tonight to meet the new football coach. Should be interesting to see how electing of officers goes over. If parents with players stay out of trying to control it, the club might have a fighting chance of staying alive.

  6. Funny you would think like that because it took a collection of good football men to drag Camden out of the gutter the Tigers now occupy. A Bulldawg(Milan) and some Mustangs(Huntingdon) and some Tigers(Bruceton) with a few others mixed in. There are some like you here that just cant stand that they are our coaches but I am grateful. If you insist on having a Waverly Tiger well i can only think of one worth a crap at coaching football and he rejected you... Might want to look across the river we have at least 4 assistants that are going to be head men some where being familiar with your current team I am not sure they can be tricked into it though

That was pretty funny daschund. Maybe, whoever comes in can find some of those good supplements that have been dished out through the community over there. Lol

  7. I'm hearing that McConnell from Camden and use to coach at Lewis and other places has been offered. You got to wonder though if he takes it and the Camden job comes open soon will he bolt and leave them stuck in the same predicament. The other three candidates I hear are all Waverly boys and would probably be there for the long haul.

  8. Hope its not true, but from what I understand, Coach Mac from Jackson North Side is in the mix as well. He is from Waverly. LBKILLER he is the one that suited up for the Vols!

He suited up for baseball if I'm correct. Heard that a former player Justin Browning who was a walk-on for the Vols in football and is coaching in St. Louis someone told me also interviewed for the position. They also have David Flowers who was on the current staff, who I was told was a football player at Tennesee Tech that interviewed also. Sounds like a lot of good applicants.

  9. I don't think a coach from Ensworth could make it in Humphreys County. They have some good athletes but not many D1 players like a coach there has. Someone proven in a public school setting would be a better fit. He would know how to get more out of all the kids. May not even have to be a proven coach just someone with a true interest in the program. Hope to see the Tigers compete again in 3A.
