Yea they are so good right now and the fact that they are still growing everyday as a ball team just makes them plum scary. If they keep string to be the best there is no doubt this group can go down the road. The talents there thats for sure.

Yea, CD is a hard place to play....Seemed its just as hard for the home team score there too.

Gotta practice and play with a bit more intensity.... Still got a couple not on their game yet....Now is the time to be figuring out your game!!! Still see a need for better boxing out, rebounding and switching on D..it'll come if you PRACTICE HARD!

Yea so the dogs are winning alot of games now and are playing good for the most part and the win at chuckey doak though they didnt win by alot its still a win for them which puts them on a 8 win streak i do believe now and they are playing well as a team and they are a talented group of kids and their is always room to improve so who knows by the end of the season we could see us a heck of a ball team cause its sure looking great for them now. Yea the game of basketball is a funny thing but weather you win by 1 or 20 a win is a win. We got beat by east last week and beat unicoi by 22 tonight.

yepp i have figured out from playing the game its not about the rankings or talent in basketball its about who shows up to play that nightand you can be the best team in the area and not show up to play and lose so you always have to come ready to play so hats off to E TOWN on the big win thats huge for them in their district .

The best assistant and one of the smartest coaches around (Hazelwood) was added to Hampton's staff. Very smart on new defense and running new plays. Lucky to have gotten him.

Yea i couldnt agree more hes a really super nice man hes really smart knows the game and what he shares with the team. Hes perfect for a assistant job at hampton in my book, no questions asked.

Dont get me wrong. I dont hate elizabethton as a hampton fan and former player, i promise you when it comes tournament time i pull for carter county and elizabethton city to represent our area and where we come from so i asure you i dont hate any schools in our area. Personally i hope the all do a good job this season and represent our area well. No hate intended to anyone.

Don't put all cyclone fans down because I have always pulled for all the carter county teams and yes I am very proud of my teams and have pulled for them for 30 yrs. and by the way all teams heve people who run there mouth and that includes Hampton big boy.

Yea the dogs are playing some great ball early in the season. I hope they keep up the good work of playing together as a team. They have knocked everyone in the three rivers confrence out atleast one time this year. So doing really well keep up the good work dogs.

thanks guys i really appriciate it and i sure do miss the heck out of being out there on the floor with those boys winning games and championships i sure miss it no doubt about it.

I only have one big problem with elizabethton and it would have to be the disrespect that they have for all the county schools almost like they think they qualify first in every category hampton is a small school and can still compete with elizabethton i just cant see why elizabethton thinks they are so good when they cant win a region championship or even leave the area in a playoff game so why do they act so big and bad towards hampton who holds their own against the much bigger elizabethton school at least hampton can win championships at their level of size and competition.

yea i played with valentine last.year and i know him and i could agree he did get kicked from boone over a bad mistake he made he didnt just decide to transfer to hampton i know for a fact from playing with him.

No. It's some kid with the last name Carden. Apparently, he's been playing at Hampton the last few years but isn't playing this year. Said he's transferring to SH next year.

I heard the same thing about the Valentine kid. Heard he was telling Boone players and fans last night that he wants to come back to Boone.

Thank you im a huuge fan of hamptons for many different reasons and i hope they stay a healthy team and finish what we couldnt finish in last years season.

WelI think the dogs have what it takes partly because i was the center on last years team but because i know the the players and what they are able to do and how they can play. If they play as a team they will win but if they try to get more points than the other they will be hurting but they will be good if they all give a great deal of effert as a team goal to win games no matter the points and stats. The could box out and rebound a little better and run the offense all the way through and get a good look before shooting the ball all the time.
