And why would we be a disappointment? Going into the season we thought we might have up to 4 losses going into playoffs with our schedule: St George's, Adamsville, Jackson Central Merry, ECS and possibly USJ. We thought all along '14 would be our year. We finished the season at 9-1 with our only loss to ECS and made it to the semis. Nobody from TCA expected an 11-2 season. I don't think that would be considered a disappointment. Now, next year, anything less than Cookeville would be a disappointment with 9 starters back on offense and defense and only one skill player lost.
Because y'all choked when it got down to nut cuttin' time.

You're right. It also shows it as updated on 12-8-13.Their records state otherwise

fyp.
sorry about wwII not working out for you.

Trousdale County loses around 6 or 7 great players. I think if they hit the weight room hard in the off-season, and keep the injury bug away, they should finish around 9-1 or 10-0 in the regular season.
-
Boyd will be around 7-3 or 8-2 when the playoffs start.

That Harper boy from TC is a STUD!!
Didn't he have like 50 touchdowns this season?

Hahaha my friend you say that like your trying to hurt me. I'm not from South Pitt but it sounds like your their kin. South Pittsburg loses more often than win. They didn't make sports center for losing in a Champ game though unlike their brothers up the road. I'm just keeping it real
I didn't mean it that way at all, Tyrone. I was just keeping it real.

7-3 with losses to Alcoa,Gordonsville and Cookeville.

Jake brings up a great point. You see many more knee injuries in today's athletes than back in the 70's, 80's or even the 90's. Injuries definitely play a part in some teams being disappointments for the season. As for disappointments regardless of the reason. I would have to say that Grace Christian is at the top of the list. I don't think anyone, including myself expected to see them lose. It's a disappointment at SP anytime they lose. That's just the way it is here. Memphis Mitchell not making more noise was a big shocker to me as well.
Let's add Nashville Christian School to the list of dissapointments for 2013.

I think Sonny needs to update his software.

Trinity Christian Academy needs to be added to the list

I have to jump in here and say that both the Trousdale and Adamsville programs have always shown class when we played them. We have played Adamsville several times and they were always a good opponent. We played Trousdale once in the semi's in '08 and other than the fact we came up short by one TD and likely would have collected a Gold Ball that season otherwise, they were good opponents.
Just one thing Trouserdale, if we ever have to play again, ya'll need to come over here to the swamp to play us. The creekbank was too bland for us.
The game against Trousdale was in 2009. You seem confused. But that's another story!
-
hey the season is over and these were the two best teams in 1A and 2A respectively so who would win this mythical title game
That's easy! Trousdale County. They don't lose championship games.
-
Coalfield.
I almost forgot about them. They had a key player out with an injury. I guess he was all they had!
-
I agree, Tyrone. South Pittsburg losing another championship game was also a dissapointment.
-
I'll start with the most obvious! The overrated and overhyped Grace Christian Academy Rams failed to make it to the championship in what was suppose to be the greatest 2A team ever assembled.
